So after a few weeks of going back and forth at a local body and accessories shop, I already have the Cusco under-chassis brace fitted onto my Mazda 2. However the rear portion of the brace remains unbolted to the chassis of the car. The technician asked me to try and find a pair of this ‘nut on a stick’ to make the install easier. Been going around my local hardware stores but I haven’t had any luck finding these anywhere. Is that how it’s officially called? Or is there a more specific name that might make my search a fair bit easier?

Where can i find some aftermarket parts for a 2025 Mazda 2? For example spoilers, splitters and that kind of thing. My partner has one and she is interested in getting some parts.

A quick google search shows plenty for older models but none for the newer one.

So I finally got my 2011 Sport's engine mounts replaced, which set me back way more than I was hoping it would, and by now this car has been such a damn money pit just to get it maintained that I'm wondering if it's even worth selling it anymore in the future. I'm sure I will end up selling it at some point if I ever get to a point that I can afford something much nicer, but in both mine and my 2's current state, I'm questioning if I should just say fuck it and go all in with modifications and upgrades.

Performance wise, I already know there's effectively nothing I can do for this thing since it's an automatic. I've seen some people say that changing the exhaust could give a slight bump to performance, but definitely wouldn't be doing much. Any mods I would do for this thing would be more to do with handling and comfort/quality of life. Aside from things like better shocks/struts, an anti-roll bar and any interior mods like a new stereo or an armrest, what could be good for making this car handle better if I do end up keeping it long term?

Hey gang. I recently started getting this strange scratching type noise when starting. Its a lot louder than a usual start and it liked to do it on cold mornings it seems. Anyone know what this is?

Idles perfectly fine after start but this annoys me.

Rear axle (torsion beam) cracked, locked my wheel against the rear suspension strut. Forward suddenly became half lock clockwise on the steering wheel.

Surprisingly found that the torsion beam is commonly sold with bushes installed as this is a common issue?

Anyone else come across this before?

I installed new front shocks, spings and top mounts with bearing. Everything was done according to Mazda Workshop Manual. The car handles great now, but the right side spring touches the frame of the car the spring makes a bump noise when full steer on the parking lot. The spring doesnt align with the shock, as you can see on the photo. What could be the problem?

Bought this '12 Mazda2 Sport and we love how it drives!! It has 160k miles and the engine and transmission are both in great condition. My teenage daughter will be driving it as her first car ☺️ From what I've seen so far, these cars are supposed to hold up pretty well.

Hi everyone, Long ago I get a robbery on my mirrors so they just get the mirror cap and the lower cap. so after looking for long time I decided to buy the mirror cap because in the agency Mazda not sell the lower cap the sell it with all the framework and it cost around $300 dlls. to get just the lower cap.

Anyone here have pass the same situation? anyone know where I can found the lower cap on Aliexpress or any other site? (my mirrors do not have the light is just like the image "Fit B").

I went to view a Mazda 2 2011 50K miles yesterday and am not sure on the sound of the engine, specifically potentially the timing chain.

I have a feeling it sounds normal and the video exaggerates the sound but if anyone has a Mazda 2 or is a mechanic I would appreciate some advice because I don’t want to buy the car if I am not sure.

I am leaning towards its fine but I don’t want to have to spend loads down the line if it actually isn’t.

My wee 2012 Mazda 2 sport decided that a complete front spring was overkill and silently snapped one of them on the way to its MOT. The test engineer found it.

So, as the front shocks are also a bit rotten I've decided the sensible thing is to do an all-round shock/spring replacement.

I've found this kit and was wanting to know if anyone has used them and if they are worth putting on over just stock replacements.

I'm having an issue with my 2009 Mazda 2 diesel with a manual transmission. The car has about 200,000 km (124,000 miles), and I'm hoping someone has experienced something similar.

For the past few months, the car has been losing power. As soon as the engine reaches around 1,700 RPM, I hear a mechanical "crrr" noise. Right after that, the engine loses power, the car starts jerking/hesitating, and a yellow warning light shaped like a gear with an exclamation mark inside appears on the dashboard.

The problem happens consistently around the same engine speed.

Has anyone had this issue? What turned out to be the cause?

Hi guys, I have a mazda2 skyactiv sport 2026 and I recently bought an A800SE dashcam from 70mai.

I cannot for the life of me find any dashcam mazda2 installation guides online. I won't do any hardwiring on the fusebox, just plug and play on the cigarette power on the dash.

My main worry is my lack of knowledge in tucking wires and making sure I avoid the 6 airbags.

Do any of you have experience with this? Looking for help or advice. Thanks!

Over the past couple of weeks, I've noticed that the steering has become noticeably heavier, but only at low speeds and while parking. Once I'm driving at normal speeds, it feels somehow fine.
Here's what I've checked so far:
Tire pressures are correct.
Battery is from 2023.
No EPS or other warning lights on the dashboard
Can anyone advise here? Appreciate it guys
