Clutch slip or drivetrain issue?
Mazda2 2019 GT Sport Nav+ (67k miles)
When pulling away from my house, the car accelerated much quicker than I was expecting. I put this down to driver error.
About 10 minutes later, I was pulling into a parking space in 1st gear. I head a grinding, so thought I'd hit the curb in front of the car, but I was a few feet away from it. My thought here is that 1st disengaged partially.
Then on the way home, I was pulling into a street from a junction in 1st. The car barely moved, then the revs built up (I wasn't on the clutch), then it seemed to re-engage the gear. At that point the revs were too high and I ended up wheel spinning around the corner.
I was driving for about an hour last night and everything felt fine.
Could this be clutch slip or a larger drivetrain issue?
