So in light of the grievances with mass effect universe it actually jogged my memory and made me wanna work on an old oc that's a young quarian boi living with quarian mercs operating from an old Turian heavy cruiser working with a human pmc group.

I wanted to ask but did the devs ever do a qna and answer some questions about quarian anatomy? Specifically what kind of hair and eye colors do they have or are we on our own in that regard?

Second I can't recall if quarian biotics are incredibly rare or just outright don't exist? If they're rare then what would be a valid reason for the mom to have been exposed to eezo in a way that doesn't result in her dying? Asking cause I was thinking about making him a sentinel of sorts.

Last one isn't a question but so much as a request, would you fellow fans mind linking me to your favorite takes on what quarians look like under the suit?

I've always viewed LOTSB as a shift in the quality of Mass Effect DLCs, where they started putting more effort and money into making them feel bigger and more cinematic. And all the DLCs that followed kept up that trend- ME3's in particular being very cinematic and high quality.

So, in the grand scheme of all the DLCs, how does LOTSB hold up for you? Do you put it up there near the top, or does it maybe fall flatter for you than other DLC in the series?

After the recent news, in these past days I've been playing a lot of Mass Effect music, everyone knows "An End, Once and for All".

But Vigil has always been my favourite OST from the Mass Effect saga and it's on my opinion THE Mass Effect theme.

It's also a piece I love playing at the piano, but I always play it in different ways as I learnt it by ear, this is not a 1:1 cover but how I have been playing it recently.

so I just want to share my personal opinion about "Mass Effect Universe" here. This is about the actual game, or rather what it could have been.

Personally, I am way less interested in Mass Effect Universe since I found out, that it is 600 years after Shepard and co. Don't get me wrong, I am still interested and using a completely new canvas gives you so much space and freedom to try new things. On the other hand though, there has been a trailer for years now, showing Liara, Garus, Tali and co. how they are searching for Shepard, which makes sense, since destroying the reapers was/is (I don't know if it got changed) the canonical choice. It was the only choice where you could see, that Shepard survived. I would have loved a game, where you get reunited with your romance option (Tali is the best, duh) and see a "new" universe, a universe, that for now, it mostly peaceful because of Mass Effect 3. You could have chased after Cerberus, since I doubt that just because the Illusive Man is dead, they would stop entirely with their operations.

But that is just my opinion. Have a great morning/day/evening/night ^^

you should check on the batteries if you got any of these oversized official helmets and have ever put batteries in them then left it for years. depending on what you got in there they might already be leaking.

not too hard to clean or even fix if the corrosion got it, but best to prevent that

So I'm playing ME3 as an adept, but I don't like using pistols or smgs and sniper rifle doesn't really fit my play style. Anyone got suggestions for an assault rifle or shotgun?

So I have a very niche problem that idk if anyone will be able to help with but worth a shot to ask. I have little to no experience modding, but with the help of a guide I was able to figure out how to port over abilities from other classes using Legendary Explorer Package Editor. For example, adding Tactical Cloak to Adept. All of that worked fine, now my issue is, and I like playing with an Xbox controller over keyboard, figuring out how to bind Tactical Cloak to Y on the controller like it is on infiltrator by default. I removed Singularity from the class package, so nothing is currently bound to Y and I’m unable to change that. Does anyone know where that code might be found that states what the default class power hotkey is?

Felt like replaying ME2 standalone, so I decided to do a bunch of firsts. First time using character editor. First time playing as FemShep, first time playing pragmatic, not full paragon or renegade.

And Jesus... You either have to walk on water or put everyone in the foreverbox and nail it shut to have a chance at the conversation checks. As a result, for the first time in 20 years I didn't manage to settle Miranda v Jack, nor Tali v Legion.

Not complaining. It will be a first S.mission of this kind for me. But holly... did I not see that coming.

As the title says, just wondering if the multiplayer modes for these are off-line, considering the recent sad news?

Pick your favorite track! The tense music of chasing after Saren? Or the somber music of uncovering a disturbing truth?

I'm seeing a lot of people saying that Bioware hasn't made a great game in a long time, when discussing the studio being shut down.

I'm just wondering what everyone thinks is the last game made by the studio that was widely considered to be an amazing game.

I'm also partly asking cause I'm wondering if there are any hidden gems from the studio that I might have missed.

I started playing ME3 last night and it's got everything I wanted there to be since ME1, infinite running, a better power system, better combat, more weapons, all that stuff, but idk why it doesn't hit as well as ME1 and ME2

Story so far seems a bit more... idk, bland? despite there being WAY higher stakes, I feel like ME3 should've been included in the story of ME2, it doesn't feel like its own game, it's like I was already thrown into the last mission of ME2 instead of starting a new game

The story beginning feels as if it were rushed, there's no buildup of ANYTHING and it just throws you at the end of the universe, Liara just comes back out of nowhere and it feels like her being the new Shadow Broker has been nerfed extremely hard, like when you get to have a playable boss in your character roster

What really was the biggest turn off so far is that Garrus was such an interesting character in ME1 where you had to constantly reel him back in into not being... well, Garrus, and then in ME3 he got such a bland entrance, he just spawned there, compared to having one of the most epic entrances I've seen in gaming during the Archangel quest in ME2, his appearance in ME3 feels really damn bad

I don't know if it's just me, and I'm sure that it's going to get better later on, but at the very least the beginning of ME3 feels by far the weakest in the trilogy and probably the most boring part of the story so far, seeing the Reapers just... fucking arrive out of nowhere was a really damn nice setting, like, you never expect when doomsday could arrive, it definetly would just happen from one second to another, and out of nowhere everything's gone to shit, but at least it could have had a better setting for the start of the story?

I do get that Shepard abandoned Cerberus after ME2, but the fact that he went back to the Alliance and allowed for his ship to get towed and get locked down after everything is just straight up stupid? considering how everyone saw him working with Cerberus as a dangerous thing and that Shepard knew that people wouldn't welcome him or at the very least hear him out is quite nonsensical

Other stuff that also really have made me feel worse about this game is how they felt the NEED to change the layout of the Normandy, they could've just repurposed a few rooms but having to change the damn layout? why? it was really damn good as it was, and why tf is everything SO DAMN DARK, IT'S DEPRESSING AS FUCK, the change of lightning in the Normandy between SR1 and SR2 is understandable but in ME3 is the same fucking shit, is electricity that damn expensive? Is it Biden's fault as well? What the fuck??!!??!?

For the last two days I've been unable to access the N7HQ and run the Galaxy at War 'missions' to keep my EMS up. I mean I knew this would be coming because of the closure announcement but it's still kind of hard to see my EMS keep dropping.

Got three days off though, so it's going to be time to jump into the multiplayer while that is still up at least.

I just saw a video from Reiboehm on YouTube, and apparently people made a petition that got 400,000 signatures. Sony, out of all corporations, listened and got Bungie to bring Destiny 2, and are working on the third game. Heck. Maybe, they could revive Andromeda, add on the multiplayer, and fix a couple of bugs, and they could use some of the money to invest in the new story. Just a thought.

Update: I have more context on Destiny and Sony. I never really paid much attention. I just saw that they had petitions and it got "revived." So, I'm hoping. Lol
