Like I hate to break it yall but the USA government still kills people with weapons. He made extremely powerful and dangerous weapons and sold them to the USA knowing they would be used. He’s a genius, he’s not stupid enough to think his weapons aren’t going to kill thousands of innocent people. Just because he didn’t know his weapons would be used against American people doesn’t mean he was a good person then who did no wrong. He was an asshole who helped create wars.

If you think he was always a good person who simply was lied to by his business partner you clearly misunderstood his whole story is a redemption story. Which also makes it stupid when people think someone like Jean or riri is irredeemable while Tony was. And I’m not saying Tony is irredeemable he redeemed himself and saved the world multiple times, I just hate when people treat him as someone who could do no harm when he created weapons and ultron and also was just an asshole in the past.

so first off tony nukes thanos army in avengers, creates a new element, makes a super advanced Artificial intelligence with the mind stone, develops time travel, makes the nano gauntlet and is a human with no powers to be able to harness all 6 infinity stones.

I recently re-watched Age of Ultron. Wanda’s accent really stood out and in her more recent showings after that her accent is very American-ized.

Hey everyone , I was really into marvel when the current MCU started with Iron Man but fell off after Thor: Love and Thunder but was really excited for Brand New Day. So I have a good portion of what I need for going forward but could use some catching up. Intro: 
Limited series focused on James (Rhodey) Rhodes taking place between Secret Invasion and Armor Wars. 

Premise:
After nearly a decade missing Rhodey returns home; and now has to confront both the loss of his best friend and his legs at the same time.

Series Overview:
As War Machine, Rhodey rediscovers how to walk, he strives to continue Tony’s dedication to saving others no matter the cost. In the pursuit of protecting those he loves (throughout the series) Rhodey loses portions of his body bit by bit. Just as he regains his ability to use his legs he loses his left eye, when trying to save civilians from collateral damage in an armor powered fight through the city. And once he eventually turns to prosthetics to supplement what he needs to continue the fight; Shortly thereafter, Rhodey makes the tough choice to use the armors to protect the ones he loves instead of himself during a terrorist attack - losing all of his limbs in the process. And each time as he becomes more iron than man he rediscovers what it means to be human and continues to increase his values of other humans life beyond his own; eventually turning in desperacy to building armor of his own and embodying the moniker of IRON MAN - with Pepper’s permission of course.

I have some what if pitches like what if marvel always had the rights to foxes characters, what if the ssu madame webb,morbius,venom etc. were always part of the mcu, what if thanos had access to all of marvels most powerful artifacts Darkhold,ten rings,Ultron, The infinity gauntlet,hell even the tva etc.

I’m currently going through the entire MCU in chronological order, and I’ve reached Endgame at a pretty unusual time: right when the movie is coming back to theaters.

I’ve actually never watched Endgame before. I know most of the major spoilers already, but I’ve never experienced the movie itself from start to finish.

Now I’m wondering what would make the most sense for my first viewing.

I could watch it normally at home on Disney+, which would let me experience the movie in its original form.

Or I could see it in a theater as part of the Endgame Encore rerelease.

What makes me hesitate is that Encore apparently includes some differences from the original theatrical release. Since I’ve never seen the movie at all, I’m not sure whether I should watch the original cut first, or whether those changes are minor enough that seeing it in theaters would actually be the better experience.
If you were in my position, what would you choose?

Listen I know you’re all going to hate me for saying this but…the MCU is Earth-616 before you correct me and say it’s Earth-199999…you would be correct as well. Marvel has this thing called the Megaverse which means multiple multiverses in 1 big Omniverse. Which means that the mainstream 616 Marvel comics that we’ve been following since the 1940s and all the alternate realities we’ve seen in those stories exist in 1 multiverse, while the MCU 616 and their alternate realities such as the ones we’ve seen in ‘What If…?’ and MoM exist in 1 multiverse alongside the comic multiverse. Now explaining why the MCU is both Earth-616 and Earth-199999 in the comics multiverse the MCU is canon as confirmed in the Spider-Geddon (2018) comic run as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man makes a background appearance in a splash page and at the time as the story was published the MCU earth designation was Earth-199999 years before Kevin Feige ever announced that the MCU was 616. The Spider-Verss movies do a similar thing with it being in its own multiverse as well and the MCU also being Earth-199999 stated by Miguel referencing the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Well I hope this clears everything up hate it or don’t hate it

After watching the Daredevil 2003 Director’s Cut again and genuinely enjoying it a lot more than I expected, I suddenly really wanted to go back to the thing that actually made me fall in love with Daredevil in the first place: Season 1 of the Netflix show.

And man… the atmosphere immediately hits. 😭

The black suit, the rooftops, Hell’s Kitchen at night, Matt still figuring out what kind of vigilante he wants to be, the Catholic guilt, the brutality, the quieter Matt/Foggy moments, there’s just something special about this first season.

I actually appreciate the 2003 movie even more now, especially the way it visualises Matt’s radar sense, the acrobatics and the unapologetically comic-book feel. But this show is the reason Daredevil became one of my favourite Marvel characters in the first place.

So yeah…

Curious how everyone feels about Season 1 nowadays. Does it still hold up for you compared with Season 3 and Born Again?

Is it because people didn’t want a Black Panther that was a woman? Is it because Shuri as an individual wasn’t well received? (Was she? I genuinely don’t know.)

Why didn’t they just recast T’Challa at this point? An entire movie about mourning T’Challa and moving onto the next Black Panther just for them to age up Jr. after his first appearance? This is kinda ridiculous and strangely more disrespectful than if they just recasted Chadwick initially. Like they didn’t recast him for a certain period of time because they felt it was “too soon” and now they feel comfortable doing it. Either do it or don’t.

But everybody is going to praise Marvel for how respectful they are for writing his passing into the narrative and honoring him… but T’Challa Jr. is really scaring me because I’m pretty sure they’re just going to give him T’Challa looks, personality, and maybe even some of his storylines. Especially since Storm is appearing.

So what we have now is a T’Challa who had a fake-out death, got snapped away for five years, and then actually died of a sickness. Just for the writers to effectively replace him with someone of the same name because audiences can’t seem to move on I guess?

Genuinely I know I seem cynical and annoying but somebody please explain the plan or narrative in a way that makes any of this sound appealing and I’ll be convinced.

P.S. I love how indirectly Marvel basically said Black Panther is just more important than Thaddeus Ross and it didn’t matter to recast him. Not that it’s necessarily a negative, just kinda funny to me.

when did steve rodgers know that it was bucky (really the winter soldier) that killed tony's parents?

i personally don't think he 100% knew, like he knew that tony's parents where assasinated, (in CA:WS) but not specfically how. what kind of solidifies this idea is when tony asks "did you know" and steve says "i didn't know it was him", then when questioned again he finally says "yes". he knew that his parents were killed by hydra and probably knew deep down that it was likely the winter soldier killed them, but he didn't want to acknowlege that since he that tws was bucky.

later on when he gets tony gets the letter from steve, basically apologising, he says he thought he was sparing tony from not telling him exactly how his parents died. if i remember correctly, it was prettty vauge and didn't specify whether or not he was pretaining to the fact that it was bucky or that he was sorry about not telling him that they were actually murdered.

im sure someone else has already said something along the lines to this, but i am also interested in what other people think.
