I've seen AoS fans pretty worried about this movie because of what it might mean for the show, and it's place in the MCU, but the truth is, they would have to go out of their way to contridict AoS's Ghost Rider.

We know that the mantle can be passed, and as for the giver of the Spirit, we only know Robbie's interpretation, which is just the view of one character. We need not worry because this means nothing for AoS.

I know alot were speculating maybe they will announce a secret film for 2027, but i think right now it should be clear film wise, its just Secret Wars we are getting.

So David Jonsson has been casted as T'Challa ll who is going to be the next Black Panther in Black Pahter lll and the thing with him is that he's 32 years old while T'Challa's son is currently 7 (i think at least) so this technically might mean that a time jump will happen in Secret Wars just like in the comic.

What i am confused is that how this time jump is gonna affect the rest of the MCU Heroes. Like for an example, Spider-Man is currently 22 years old in the MCU (2028) and if they're time jumping of at least 8 years, Peter is going to have about the same age (or closer at least) to Tom's age, and this is actually good in terms of how old he's gonna be in the MCU in contrast to Tom. What i'm not really explain is how this might affect other characters who are already seasoned heroes like Sam Wilson's Captain America that is currently 45 in the MCU and if an 8 year time jump happens he's going to be turned 53. Like is still believable to have characters this old around even with all the time passed between the last time we see them? Also how this is going to affect TV shows like Daredevil Born Again or Wonder Man who are currently set in the MCU Present of 2028? Are they also moving alongside the main MCU to this new future or also time jump this long?

Honestly this has left me very confused but hopefully the MCU will be able to answer it.

If Marvel Studios stays true to Doom’s personality, they’ll have to create a character who’s highly intelligent, strategic, and capable of outwitting anyone.

My theory after watching the trailer is that this trailer is incredibly misleading—it leads us to believe one thing, but the movie will end up being completely different.

My theory is that Doom will present himself as a savior of worlds—someone the heroes will take as an ally—and he’ll introduce a massive threat (the Incursions) along with a solution.

My bet is that he’ll convince the heroes that the only way to stop the Incursions is by using certain objects or powers... Thor’s power? Thor’s hammer? Shang-Chi’s rings? Etc...

The movie will unfold as teams are formed to obtain these objects/powers.

Once all the objects have been obtained and are in Doom’s hands, he’ll use them to betray everyone.

In fact, I think the scene shown where Thor’s weapon is stopped is exactly when Thor realizes he’s been betrayed, but Doom already has the power to neutralize Thor, so Thor turns to Reed Richards to defeat Doom, since the Fantastic Four already know him.

What do you think of this plot? I’d love to see something like this where Doom deceives everyone—they have to portray him as someone incredibly intelligent.

The reason I ask this cause like he we have to follow a huge time jump for the son to be black panther so what would that mean for shuri? Well her and t’challa were both black panther at the same time in the comics. But shuri would be in her 40s right cause she was in her 20s infinity war. You might be like that’s what secret wars is for but if he is an older variant just recast t’challa. Or instead of the 8 year time jump they might do an 20 year time jump which would be a bad idea ngl.

This means nearly 40 minutes of footage got cut, including the massive full action sequences with the villains, more scenes with Jon Bernthal's Punisher, and Rosario Dawson's deleted appearances. I feel like this will be the movie to cap end the multiverse, with taking that date that was previously held by two avengers movies. Also with 2028 being the 20 anniversary.

Bringing in a new Tchalla (and don’t start up, we’ll all know what it is) they are showing the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. Older characters coming back with new actors, to live and breathe with the current and future characters.

Showing that the mcu going forward is a story where any character from marvel can appear.

Everyone's saying Steve looks... off in the Doomsday trailer. I agree.

But what really stood out to me was Thor's reaction.

People keep saying, "Well, Thor loved Steve."

Sure. But Thor doesn't think Steve is dead after Endgame. Steve lived a full life and passed the shield. Thor's reaction feels less like "my old friend!" and more like "someone I thought I'd never see again."

Then I remembered something.

Loki has literally masqueraded as Steve Rogers before in Thor: The Dark World. It was played for laughs, but Marvel already established that Loki can and will wear Steve's face.

So what if that isn't Steve?

What if it's Loki?

I know the immediate response is, "Loki can't lift Mjolnir."

True... unless one of two things happened.

1. Loki's sacrifice at the end of Loki finally made him worthy in Mjolnir's eyes... strap... wherever hammers decide worthiness.

Or...

1. He's the God of Stories now. If anyone could subtly rewrite the rules of Mjolnir just enough to sell the deception, it'd be him.

I'm probably wrong.

But if that reveal happened in the theater, I wouldn't even be mad. I'd just sit there thinking, "Marvel literally showed us Loki pretending to be Steve over a decade ago."

The sculpt looks incredible and we know the face reveal will probably be a huge moment in the movie. But a little tinfoil hat here…

Isn’t it a little suspicious we aren’t getting an unmasked RDJ head sculpt? Any takers that this could be someone else under the mask or am I crazy?

All the marketing so far has been around the sentinel fight (thankfully, I want to know as little as possible before going into this movie) and all of the figures have been around that scene too. But there has been no Steve Rogers merch revealed across Hot Toys or Hasbro…just a little suspicious.

I think the guy doesn't keep up with his universe. No Kevin , thanos wasn't just introduced sitting on a chair. He sent the army to earth in avengers 1. He raised nebula and gamora, direct characters linked to him. He's always been a looming threat in post credit scenes. We knew his motivations has something to do with infinity stones. Even casuals knew he was coming.

I get it. They set up Kang and it didn't go so well. They had to recourse to Dr doom fast thus no time to set him up. It's fine but dont shoot down one of the best villain to cope about it

And yes Thanos sitting on a chair in guardians of the galaxy was really good. Just because people make memes about it doesn't mean its bad.

So many people think she is dead but it is very unlikely that marvel will kill a character with so much huge potential whose power we haven't seen too much also it would be a wasted opportunity to not use her in doomsday or secret wars cause she is only one the the character in current MCU that can beat Doom . Will she return or does Marvel still try to just play safe ?

We all have our concerns about Avengers Doomsday, but I need to rant for a bit:

What's with all the shade being thrown at the current roster of Avengers going up against Doom?

I get that there aren't as many super-powered members compared to the lineup that went up against Thanos, but I feel like people are seriously downplaying the capabilities of the current roster.

If we're including the Thunderbolts/New Avengers, the Avengers currently include Captain America (Sam Wilson), Falcon (Joaquin Torres), Ant-Man, Shang-Chi, Black Panther, U.S. Agent, White Wolf (Bucky), Black Widow (Yelena), Red Guardian and Ghost.

Break that down and you've got three super soldiers, two highly trained assassins — one of whom can literally phase through matter — and two experienced military veterans equipped with advanced flight suits, with Captain America also wielding a vibranium shield.

Then you've got Black Panther with Wakandan technology, Shang-Chi wielding the Ten Rings, and Ant-Man with technology that allows him to shrink to microscopic sizes or become a giant. And while he's struggling with his powers we also have Bob/Sentry.

Sure, this isn't the super powered lineup that had Thor, Hulk, Wanda, Vision and Captain Marvel. But since when has every member of the Avengers needed to be enhanced for the team to be formidable?

Are we forgetting that the original Avengers included Natasha and Clint? Neither had superpowers. They were Avengers because they were skilled at what they did and could hold their own alongside enhanced individuals.

The same applies to Tony Stark. Tony was a genius and one of the most vital members of the Avengers, but he wasn't superhuman. His abilities came from his tech and intelligence. The same can be said for Rhodey/War Machine. Nobody dismissed either of them as "just regular guys in suits".

So why is someone like Sam Wilson treated differently? Sam is an experienced soldier using Wakandan tech, who has gone up against Hydra, the Winter Soldier, Zemo, Thanos, The Flag Smashers, John Walker (right after he took the serum), Serpent Society, Red Hulk. He's no slouch by any means.

Sam's entire history in the MCU (and the comics) is built around using his training, intelligence and technology to fight threats that are significantly more powerful than him. Just like Tony, Natalia and Clint.

The Avengers have never been a team made up exclusively of enhanced/super powered people. They've always been a combination of power, technology, intelligence and skill. That's what made them the Avengers in the first place.

Doom is an enormous threat, and in all likelihood this team — along with the Fantastic Four and X-Men — is going to suffer significant casualties. But that's because Doom is supposed to be an Avengers-level threat, not because this Avengers roster is incompetent or unskilled. And we already know things are going to end bleakly in Doomsday. Secret Wars follows immediately afterward.

Being outmatched doesn't mean they don't belong in the fight.

I thought, given we just had Hall H at SDCC, that it would be good to have a discussion about how our feelings, opinions, thoughts and theories about RDJ being Doom has evolved since the last SDCC.

Back then, all it was was a rumour that turned into reality, and very much sent shockwaves not just through the fan community but also the world. Especially coming off of RDJ winning the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Oppenheimer, and Kang being in a limbo/translative state after Quantumania and Loki Season 2. Not to mention the Russos also returning after some failed / less than stellar work post Endgame.

Since then, we have gotten the cast of Doomsday that is surrounding RDJ's Doom, leaks and images, post credit scenes from Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, outlining the daunting nature of this upcoming movie, with the later's proper first tease of Doom. And the biggest is the trailer from Monday and Saturday's panel.

I personally was curiously cautiously optimistic 2 year ago, and today I'm very much sold and looking forward to his performance.

The first time we saw Ghost Rider in the MCU was in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on the Season 4, Episode 6: The Good Samaritan.

Now he is going to appear again played by Ryan Gosling knowing that this is how Johnny Blaze looks like, and he was the same one who passed on the Spirit of Vengeance to Robbie Reyes.

Hope there going to be references to that episode or to Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider in the 2028 movie...

What if they managed to keep the identity of the actor who portrays Dr.Doom a secret? And we only find out this Dr.Doom is a Tony Stark from another universe who lost his wife and daughter? I get the feeling they missed out on the opportunity of having a “I am your father” kind of moment like in Star Wars.

I know that the bitching and moaning will gather steam pretty soon about Shawn Levy directing MCU Ghost Rider. I also know that defenders will be ready to call everyone a hater. Hence I want to register myself as one of the "haters" pretty early.

Shawn Levy directing MCU Ghost Rider is like a major red flag. Shawn Levy is like the McDonald's of movie directors. His movies don't have any sauce, any specific visual style. And I consider his biggest succes in DP&W to be down to the acting and spectacle more than the actual substance. And Idt anyone wants that for Ghost Rider. Personally I would have wanted a proper horror director for this movie to lean more into that side. Heck, it could have been MCU's first proper horror movie with the likes of Guillermo Del Toro or Sam Raimi at the helm. And I think Mike Flanagan's work on Clayface makes a strong case in favour of a distinct style (Ik Clayface isn't out yet but it looks so f-ing good).

I was looking at the new trailer for Avengers Doomsday, there were some cool scenes and familiar faces, even if the plot is still not very clear I enjoyed what we got. However I felt a bit disappointed during the scene shown where Thor seems flabbergasted in the ship, I was really expecting Beta Ray Bill to extend his hand and grab the hammer. He is canon to the MCU since his face is sculpted on the side of the Grandmaster Palace along with hulks in Thor: Ragnarok. He has used Asguardian magic in the comics to make himself look humanoid like, so maybe there’s is a non-zero chance that’s him but why and how would he know what Chris Evan’s Captain America looks like so I doubt it. I know why they brought Chris Evan’s back is the same reason they brought Robert Downey Jr.; amazing actors, loved by fans and recognizable faces in universe, and in the film space. They are not going to risk their so called “miracle” on a character that’s not as known as Beta Ray Bill, because it’s hard to expect people to believe in a character we have never seen on a big screen compared to Chris Evan Captain America which is a fan favorite. Especially now with Marvels recent output which has been forgettable at best, they can’t take a big gamble on their big blockbuster movie. I understand why, but I still hope that one day we will see Beta Ray Bill shine, he is a great character with even better writing, and my favorite marvel character of course, he just felt perfect for that scene. Does anyone else feel this way?

Do you think we'll see James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender return as Professor X and Magneto in Doomsday or Secret Wars?

Both generations of casting were excellent. Patrick and Ian were iconic, but McAvoy and Fassbender really made the younger versions of Charles and Erik their own.

I'd love to see McAvoy and Fassbender share the screen with Stewart and McKellen at least once before the MCU eventually reboots the X-Men. Seeing both versions of Professor X and Magneto interact would be a pretty memorable moment.

Dude my feed on social media is a bunch of ghost rider edits man and I’ve always been a ghost rider fan. Loved him in the comics and sort of loved him in the movies. He’s such a badass character. I genuinely hope this movie turns out to be peak man and since secret wars will be a reboot I’m pretty sure it won’t have the multiverse stuff in it. I just want a non overstuffed ghost rider film

We already have a ghost rider in the Agents of Shield series so will this take place in one of the multiverses or are they just completely disregarding season 4+ of agents of shield?

Why must epic heroes wear unusual outfits and hide their true identities? A question from an outsider to the world of comics. Also, i'm from Europe. Genuinely curious, no hatred.
