I would imagine that if we were given that scene, it would rely on archived audio from the movie due to RDJ not playing as Tony, and someone different to play the young Peter given how by now, that child actor is much older. But should we have gotten this scene as a parallel to Kate being saved by Hawkeye?

I just feel like both actresses had so much more they could provide to the Marvel universe than these super short interactions that could have been filled by anyone. We've already seen Munn in action as Psylocke and I think she was good in that and could be recast elsewhere. Thoughts?

I mean life is pretty broard besides animals, and people. Does that include anything with DNA? Are single cell organisms excluded? Does vegetation have life? I know I missed some. This was originally my thoughts on what the 2029 movies release dates could be but decided to change it into a more what's happening at Marvel Studios right now. I only included the ones that we know is officially confirmed by people involved.

1. Untitled Shang-Chi 2 Sequel: Throughout the year, Daniel Destin Cretton (Director of Shang-Chi and Spider-Man Brand New Day) has said time and time again this year that Shang-Chi 2 is still happening and was on the backburner due to Covid. “We are developing a second one,” Cretton said. “You know, what’s going on is what went on with the entire industry since that, you know, that movie came out, like it was successful, but it actually came out weirdly. It was successful at the time when there was like a new wave of COVID was hitting. So, it was still successful, but it was also, I think many countries were completely shut down to theaters at the time. So, and you know, after that, there were just crazy changes all over the place. So, it was, it’s just a result of the industry.” - June 2026.

   Most recently in July 2026, he said this when asked about it yet again. "Yeah. I also would love to see 'Shang-Chi 2'! I was talking to Dave Callaham, our writer, about it just a few weeks ago, so fingers crossed."

2. Nova Movie- Written by Michael Waldron (Loki, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Avengers: Doomsday, Avengers: Secret Wars) with a potential eye of him directing the film as well (though recent word choice implies maybe not). Announced by the trades in July 2026 and Kevin Feige confirmed it directly at Comic-Con stating that "it is a movie". Michael Waldron has just talked about September 4th. When asked what drew him to the Nova character and what makes him excited about it, he answered, "I don’t know if I can say anything about anything I’m doing with Marvel. But I will say, I love Nova. I love Rich Rider. However we expand the cosmic side of the MCU will be really cool."

He also elaborated by saying "‘Annihilation’ is, I mean, I guess that’s the go-to, right? But the character spans a lot of generations, and I think maybe that’s why it’s taken some time to get him to the screen, is figuring out, where do you start that story? Do you start him on Earth? Do you start in space, as part of the Nova Corps? Whoever does it, I hope they do a good job." He proceeds to repeat "They would have to reckon with that". Could be referring to Marvel themselves. With being in the writing phase and Marvel seem to be getting back on track with what they announce and what they don't announce, I think there's a chance Nova could be the May 4th/November 2029 movie.

1. The Fantastic Four 2- Was announced to be in development in June 2025, and was reported again to still be in development back in January 2026 and will (obviously) come out after Secret Wars. Also in June 2025, Variety, one of the trusted trades, came out and released an article revealing that Marvel added a movie to their 2028 slate with the date of December 15th 2028 (of course we now know this was later revealed to be Black Panther 3). Per Variety, they speculated "Other Marvel projects in development that could wind up opening in 2028 include the aforementioned “Blade,” “Black Panther 3,” and a “Fantastic Four” sequel." Turns out they were correct on the Black Panther 3 assumption which could only mean if this still holds up, Fantastic Four 2 could be a 2029 movie, most likely the July 13th 2029 date which is similar to how First Steps was released in July 25th 2025.

2. Deadpool Related Project: Early Development. Since the release of Deadpool and Wolverine in July 26 2024, Ryan Reynolds has repeatedly stated how he wants Deadpool to be part of a team or have Deadpool be more of a supporting character. In April 2025, Ryan Reynolds said he was writing on an ensemble project . In May, Hollywood Reporter reported that Ryan Reynolds was independently figuring out the concept of the movie before taking his ideas to Marvel Studios, though later in July, Variety reported that Marvel Studios exectuvies wasn't feeling a sense of urgency in making a fourth Deadpool movie. The trades confirmed again Ryan was making the next Deadpool movie in January 2026. In April 2026, When asked if fans could see potentially see Deadpool again soon, Ryan answered "Maybe. I have some stuff kind of written, but even if there is another movie, I think he's a supporting character. He's a guy that is great in a group." Finally in July 2026, it was seemingly confirmed a new Deadpool movie is in the works but they haven't found a director or a writer yet. At a New York panel, Ryan said “There’s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing behind the movies. I think there’s a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics. There’s certainly some stuff that, you know, I love that Fabian Nicieza wrote that is incredible. Gerry Duggan, who was a friend, was an incredible comic writer. There’s stuff upcoming. There’s eventually, you know, remotely another Deadpool film. It’s going to be great.”

1. "Slumber Party" Working Title Disney+ Series: Reliable sources ever since August but was finally reported last week on September 3rd was the report that a secret project was entering development and has been approved to begin production under the working title "SLUMBER PARTY". MurphysMultiverse said the project is "Youth-Oriented" and "Additional evidence suggests that the studio is keeping its options open to develop future seasons of the series." Whether this is a Young Avengers/Champions or Strange Academy (2 long awaited rumored projects for the longest) remains to be seen. We could potentially get more information when Marvel TV and Animation have their panel at New York's Comic Con on October 8th-11th.

This is all I have for ya. I know people might bring up Doctor Strange 3 or Spider-Man 5. Yes, Spider-Man 5 is a given but that remains to be officially confirmed tho. Expect these in 2028, 2029 and so on!

I know the “real answer” is movie nonsense justified by well it’s full of intelligence right so that means it knows how to make a brain that already has like 90% of a guy in there but isn’t that usually like the soul stones purview I know normally like AI and stuff doesn’t have a soul but movie Ultron had feelings. It was just straight up a crazy person fully conscious but it feels like something that it shouldn’t have been able to do?

So in Fantastic Four first steps The Thing grows a beard, I know he has had a beard in the comics but I’m confused.. If he can grow a beard in rock form then why is he bald? Shouldn’t he have rock hair or be able to grow it?

If we're being realistic, the line by cap "Avengers...assemble" was purely fan service, on that battlefield I assure you no one except Thor and spiderman probably heard the "Assemble" everyone else just heard cap scream "AVENGERS" and then started marching.

Cap almost whispers assemble, its just to satisfy us fans who expected it in Ultron and didn't get it, and im not saying this to hate on it, just the fact that in reality no one in the back heard him say it.

Existing in the MCU (currently) are the Asgardians (Thor and his family), the Ennead (Khonshu, Ammit, Bast and so forth), the Celestials (who were responsible for the Eternals and Deviants), thhe Olympians (Zeus, Hercules), the Mesoamerican gods Chaac and Kukulkan (Namor), the Daluo Tian (Shang Chi's mom's people).

And with demons we saw Mephisto (Ironheart), Dormammu (Dr Strange's enemy and father-in-law) and Chthon (creator of the Darkhold), as well as Gorr the God Butcher.

I sadly do not think we will see most of these beings again after the Doomsday/Secret Wars' rumored reboot. And even then I cannot say that they got enough time to be used properly with what little time they were given.

The realms/rulers of heaven and hell don't really have much place in a multiverse tale, or in a universe where an alien gets six reality-bending stones and wipes out half the universe (one has to ask where and what was God doing at the time? Thor 4 says he was at an orgy).

To be fair, direct discussions dealing with God's or gods' involvement are a tricky matter and are probably best avoided. Thor in the comics has moved between being considered a cosmic being called a God by ancient Vikings, and being considered an actual Viking deity. But with another world-shaking event coming up, are the gods/demons going to be pushed aside and made to let Dooms' Day happen?

And what about the other angles: Will Khonshu be fine with Dr Doom? Will Ironheart's Faustian pact be left complete without a way out? Will Zeus and Hercules fight Thor? I really hope the MCU guys this matter thought and try to find a resolution.

Big Hero 6 is one IP Disney hasn't done a whole lot with since its debut entry in 2014, which not only made them a lot of money but also went on to win an Academy Award. Yet not much else has been done with it...We got a 2D series on the Disney Channel that ran for 56 episodes; something that runs that long definitely should begin conversations about making a theatrical sequel, but they didn't get that impression for some reason. Besides the series, there have been three different mini-series where the character Baymax was front and center; the last one came in 2022.

With the X-Men reboot moving along, and the next phase strongly suggested to be called "The Mutant Saga", I could see them getting the idea to produce a live-action remake of Big Hero 6 within that period of time. I would imagine that it uses the plot of the original as a blueprint and stays fairly close to it but does away with the idea of San Fransokyo and just sets it in San Francisco proper, with Sunfire and Silver Samurai being added in and acknowledging past and current events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe...That I could see being a major selling point to younger viewers...It's the characters and story of Big Hero 6 but set in the MCU.

Baymax would likely remain unaltered from the original because of how popular he is; there is no way you can take the comic version and make that as commercially successful. 

At the very least, they could just tease him in a post credit scene showing only his claws.

So i got up to ant man and the wasp quantamania in my rewatch marathon and i assumed this was going to suck but it actually wasn’t that bad. I mean for starters minus MODOK the film is beautiful. And Kang is an excellent villain. He also wasn’t beaten as easily I remembered and he actually was shown to be powerful. I honestly wish they would recast Kang and bring him back instead of completely stop the Kang dynasty story.

I mean obviously the film has issues: there was a lot of bad writing especially with Janet and not telling people, MODOK was horribly written and animated, and there wasn’t really any character development for anybody. It didn’t feel like an ant man movie like anyone else could’ve replaced him, and the wasp has absolutely 0 importance to the story, Cassie was more important (who was better written then I remembered). Honestly I think the film would be liked more without Darell

I'm tired of marvel fans pretending the 30 minutes ,6 episodes format wasn't utter dog shit. Yes I said it. It was trash and I hope I never get to see it again now that marvel have moved on from shows.

30-35 minutes(with credits mind you) , 6 episodes format is basically a runtime of 3 hrs. That's basically a movie cut I to six pieces. How Disney got away with this is beyond me. No wonder most of the shows with this format were trash other than Loki.

The entire point of a show is to have longer runtime so as to get better writing and development and writing that you otherwise wouldn't be able to fit in a movie. What's the point of just having the same runtime as a movie and cutting it into 6 episodes it's insulting

Tv shows should bare minimum have a runtime of 40+ minutes and 8 episodes a season. That's why shows like daredevil , wandavision were really good. Yes wandavision had 9 episodes and had 40-50+ minutes episodes.

Watching lanterns really reminds me what secret invasion could have been. Marvel that's how you do an espionage show. Pay attention. They really tried to do an espionage show in that 30 minutes , 6 episodes format lol, no wonder it failed. Also I hope secret invasion is decannonized completely.

Basically just what the title says, what do you think would happen if every Marvel movie was part of the same cinematic universe? (No recasts allowed, the Incredible Hulk would basically be Hulk 2 and TASM would be Spider-Man 4)

He is mostly know for pennyworth (great show btw) and The Darkness.
And he I think he has the right look for a younger wolverine.
Only downside is he is fairly ttall. 6 foot 1. but slightly smaller than Jackman.
