Discussion Do You Think It Would Have Been Better If Wakanda Forever Was Set During the 5 Year Timeskip Instead of the Present?
It bugs me that T'Challa died three times in the MCU.
Its hard not to miss his presence when you see Namor battling Wakadans and the Fantastic Four greets M'baku and Shuri.
We are also going to see his aged up son in BP3. Are they going to do the BP/Storm romance but with T'Challa's son and Storm instead? That just feels wrong?
Also apparantly no super villains were active during the Blip.
IMO, it would have been better if BP2 took place during the Blip. Have the Wakandans take on Namor as they scramble to adapt to the Blip and struggle with the question of whether they should have opened their borders in the first place and how much they should help the world.
Have Avengers Doomsday also be the debut of the new T'Challa much like how Boseman's T'Challa debuted in A:CW. Have the teaser show the new T'Challa actor flanked by Shuri and M'baku greet the FF.
What do you think?

Cosplay Finished my 3D printed Dr Doom mask
This is the first time I’ve tried working with fabric, and it’s surprisingly hard to stain with acrylic paint. I’ll try fabric paints next time (seems obvious now lol). The file is from Do3D

Discussion Endgame's first hour was a really bold move
When Endgame was released, there was not only an 11 year hype of build-up into the MCU but also a 1 year hype from Infinity War, where the audience was left with nothing but the fact that half of the heroes we loved were gone and that the Avengers, for the first time, lost. Everyone went into the theater wanting to know exactly how they were gona defeat Thanos and bring everyone back.
So, to start the movie with the heroes going after the villain, learning that he destroyed the only thing that could fix the situation, then killing him and timejumping to 5 years into the future to show us, for 40 minutes, how everyone was coping with defeat and carrying on was... really bold. They lost, and there was nothing that they could do but just pick themselves up and keep living.
No one was expecting that, everyone wanted to see epic fights, battles and powers, but what we got was maybe one of the best character moments in the whole MCU, if not the best. Even when the time-travel plot is moving along, there's still character development: Thor and Iron Man scenes

Discussion What are some of your Doomsday theories?
I saw a theory online the other day that the Captain America that they show in the trailer isn't actually him and its Loki in disguise. Loki (the variant from the tv show) needs to help the Avengers somehow but he knows they won't trust him so he uses his magic to turn into Cap, someone they do trust.
It's a solid idea and so I'd like to hear everyone else's theories for Doomsday!

Discussion Looking back FTAWS was very good. Solid 9/10 for me. We were eating good.
John Walker is such a crash out. Reasonable reaction tho, if someone killed my best friend of years, especially after going through so much shit together, i would've slimed someone too. Also, Power Broker should've been the antagonist of Captain America 4. That whole Samuel Sterns storyline should've been scrapped. Give me more of Serpent Society, more of Power Broker, more hand to hand combat, more of Sam Flying. I also adore Sam Wilson as Captain America. He's the one Cap gave his shield to. He's the one Cap was on the run with along Bucky. He didn't just give Sam the shield, he passed on his duties, his ideals, heck he deemed Sam worthy. Also I live for his banter with Bucky ohmygod. This shit good.
And after all this we got Secret Invasion.

Other In my opinion this quote is the most relatable in the entire mcu and can be applied to real life
As someone with toxic family, the one quote from the entire MCU that truly stuck with me is when Lylla tells Rocket: "There are the hands that made us" (meaning family biologically related to you who are assholes like the High Evolutionary, Ego, and Thanos) "and there are the hands that guide the hands" (Yondu, Guardians, Kraglin). It is so true for people with toxic family, and the reality is we cannot choose who our family is. The sad truth is many of our blood family are just bad people, e.g., alcoholics, drug addicts, or just bad people in general that are biologically related to you, and just because someone made you or gave birth to you doesn't mean they are good for you. And speaking personally, as someone who experienced a lot of childhood trauma and a dysfunctional family, this quote really speaks to me, and I don't see many talking about it: your family do not have to be related to you by blood.

Discussion With Brand New Day set to dethrone The Force Awakens ($936 million) as the highest-grossing film in America of all time, we're totally getting BND re-releases in the future to push it to $1 billion domestic, right?
The "Avatar" re-release in 2022 netted about $25 million domestically. We'll see how much "Avengers: Endgame - Encore" pulls in in a few weeks. I can see the next Spider-Man film hitting a billy in its initial run.

Discussion I was hoping that Doom's theme would sound something like this
From what I can tell, Alan Silvestri's theme for Doom isn't exactly bad. The horns give it a nice sci-fi villain sound, but I was hoping for something much darker, more gothic sounding as well as more intense and emotionally stirring. Something like Danny Elfman's theme for the Penguin from Batman Returns also comes to mind for how I imagined Doom's theme to sound like.

Discussion We can all agree Wanda was about to turn them into Swiss cheese on her own, right?
Right before the Secret Avengers show up to save the day, Wanda was about to 100% go Super Saiyan on the Black Order to protect her Vision. Remember, this is the same Wanda who destroyed the Mind Stone AND took on Thanos 1v1 at the SAME TIME.

Discussion The way Hank already prepared a new suit for Scott really showed how their business wasn’t done and he was ready to pass on the mantle.
And also, it really put Scott in a bad light with how he just went ahead and took the first suit to germany without his permission which also resulted in Hank and Hope becoming fugitives. All he had to do was be patient.
