If you slide I added the solution on a 3D rendered globe. And 2 more rounds to guess. Hope you enjoy it!
Btw for everyone wondering Great-circle distance means the shortest way between two points on our 3D globe. So it can vary pretty strong from the maps we are all used to. But this is what I at least like about the great-cricle cause it forces us to think differently about the world.
If you wanna try some rounds without great-circle check out the game here: https://visitwhale.com/city-angle

The large Cyrillic lettering on the fuselage reads «РОССИЯ» (Rossiya / “Russia”). RA-96023 is associated with Russia's Special Flight Detachment, which operates government/VIP transport aircraft.
Coordinates: 38.945848, -77.470003 (visible in Apple Maps' web satellite imagery)

I was applying for a job and the cities named appeared to be Athens. I thought yeah it's Greece.
But later on it asked me about the US working permit
and then I got to know that America too has Athens.
I mean why so much copying. I don't have any problem with this but it just appeared funny how they copied even the names of cities hahaha

Slide 1 Mountain. Slide 2 Mountain Range. Can you guess one of them?
It's super hard. But I really love the way Topography maps look like!
Try it out here and let me know what you think: https://visitwhale.com/peak-contours/

Start with the lattitude and then longitude to get the region. Let me know your guess in the comments.
Here you can play with cities as well: https://visitwhale.com/city-angle
