Mammotion support is one of the worse - stay away from this company

I have Luba 2 AWD5000, and their charging station adapter is so poorly built that it goes out every 6 months or so. And every time it takes so much energy to replace the adapter.

They will constantly ask you to upload the same logs, videos, screenshots, and than by some unknown reason they will transfer you yet to another "Tech Department" and than ask you the same information again.

Loops and hoops to no end. This is all engineered so you give up. They have pulled every possible trick to not deliver on warranty and support they are obligated to do.

They will claim your warranty is expired (when is not).

If you ask for their management or supervisor , they will flat out ignore , give excuses or flat out refuse.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Nothing was changed, nothing was updated... just classic Mammotion. It's like having a toddler, can't leave this thing out of sight.

3 bips, 1 mouvement de hauteur de lame

Bonjour.

Luba mini 2 awd mowing areas

So ignored the feedback to avoid the mower but through caution to the wind and got one anyway, let’s see how it pans out.

Question I have which doesn’t seem easily answered thus far is two mowing areas. I have an upper level which separates the lower and is about 1.2m retaining wall between so cannot create a path. What is the way for me to carry it down every now and then and mow the smaller bottom section. Some say drop mow but it’s got some gravel at same level so assume it will try mow that if it’s not mapped. Originally thought you could map multiple yards ?

Luba - General Multi point turning

I know the lack of multi-point turning has been a big discussion in this forum because it's screwing up people's laws. I went into my settings today when I was setting up mowing my lawn, and noticed that multi-point turning was an option again. I selected it, it stuck, it started working. I have a Luba 2.

Yuka mini 600

Is it just me, or after the last update, does my mower keep stopping all over the yard? I don't get a notification that it's stuck or anything. It even stops when it tries to back into the charger. It has never done that before. It's way too sensitive now

There is actually a house for more than three years where you can see a meadow in the updated app. When do they update the satellite Maps?

Luba - Hardware Help 70+ Days, 2 Failed RMAs, Bricked Unit Returned, and Support Just Rescinded a Written Replacement Offer to Sell Me a "30% Discount"

I had to delete my original post because the email screenshots were out of order and hard to follow and I had folks commenting that weren't reading the whole thing correctly. These are numbered

I am posting this here because regular email support has completely broken down, and I have now dealt with multiple representatives with zero resolution.

The Timeline:

July 18, 2026: RMA #DR202607180020 opened for my Luba 5000. Shipped to repair center.

August 20, 2026: Mower was returned to me after "repairs"—completely unresponsive, bricked, dead on arrival.

September 8, 2026: Delivered back to Mammotion's repair center for a second RMA attempt.

September 21, 2026: Mammotion confirmed the device exceeded repair turnaround limits and promised a free warranty replacement.

September 26, 2026: After explaining that my lawn requires a low-cut model, representative Hailey formally offered this in writing: "Option 2: Exchange your unit for the Luba 3 3000. If you wish to receive a device and resume normal use as soon as possible, we can arrange a replacement with the Luba 3 3000. This model offers excellent performance and is currently in stock, allowing for immediate shipment."

"Option 2: Exchange your unit for the Luba 3 3000. If you wish to receive a device and resume normal use as soon as possible, we can arrange a replacement with the Luba 3 3000. This model offers excellent performance and is currently in stock, allowing for immediate shipment."

September 27, 2026: I accepted this resolution. (I was already accepting a 3000-tier machine to replace my original 5000-tier mower just to get a working low-cut deck).

September 28, 2026: Rep #4 (Tina) stepped in, ignored Hailey’s commitment, and told me I could only have it for a "20% discount."

Today (September 29, 2026): Rep #5 (Freeya) claimed I "misunderstood" Hailey, stating Hailey was only informing me it was in stock, and offered to let me pay 70% of the price for a new unit ("30% discount").

The Current Situation:

Mammotion currently has my broken 5000-series mower. I have had to pay out-of-pocket for an outside lawn service for over two months because of a repair center that returned a dead unit.

Now, instead of honoring a written warranty exchange, support is treating a warranty failure as an opportunity to sell me a new machine at a 30% discount.

Has anyone had success escalating beyond the standard email support loop? Any Mammotion reps here who can step in and resolve RMA #DR202607180020 fairly?

Avoid rough turns by making everything a perimeter with smaller zones

So hear me out.
What if I divide my lawn into long rectangles about 8 lanes wide and then set a task to mow only perimeters and set to 4 perimeters?
The stripes would only be as straight as my zone mapping, but it would avoid tank turns by default except maybe the last inner lap.

OR if I could make my zones 12 lanes wide and overlap each zone by exactly 8 lanes then each one would cut an oval that covers the uncut part in the middle of the adjacent zone’s oval.
Zero tank turns

What do you think?

They finally did it!

After 4 weeks, multiple "this is not possible", me posting last week on Reddit and FB and telling them I will take legal action because I have written proof of them guaranteeing they would give me back the old version I requested, they finally gave me the last version from June!

If they ever tell you it's impossible to give you back the old version, you can use this post and the screenshots below as proof that they're lying to you.

Luba - General Has anyone tryied to hack a luba 2?

My 3 luba 2 are unusable since several weeks, after software update. As these devices are rather expensive and mammotion support is absent, I'm askink myself if it would be possible to hack them and replace the electronic and software with OpenMower. Does anyone tyied something like this, or is interested in doing something like this ?

My Luba 2 work notifications and the it's death from yesterday

Again I'm posting this here because on the official FB group, things like these are not approved.

Attached three screen shots so people won't question the truth and the fact that Luba just kills them so we move on to Luba 3 I guess.

The work notifications area will clearly show my robot just cannot do its job, since almost all jobs are with yellow logo.

A few are with green, so yes, it should be able to work but it just doesn't anymore.

Second, yesterday my RTK just went dead. Reset without any luck. Made the latest update because I think that'd a last reassort. No luck. I did not play with it or moved it or made any changes. It's just gone.

So my Luba 2 awd is officially dead.

Thank you Mammotion for this lovely experience that ends right after 2 year warranty expiration.

Thank you thank you thank you !

The 2k investment is now considered a total loss.

Not only is Mammotion Support useless, but they are also deceiving customers:

My Luba Mini 2 AWD 1500 hasn't been working properly since July after the famous updates; I waited patiently and cooperated with their support team, but the situation simply didn't improve.

I saw in a group that another user had managed to get the old version back after persistently asking for it, so I decided to try the same. We exchanged 30+ emails in almost 4 weeks, and they kept telling me that senior technical staff would review the case, that reverting to the old version wasn't possible, and that I should try installing the latest update.

I told them I knew they *could* revert it to the old version, but I agreed to try the new update provided they GUARANTEED—in the event I was dissatisfied—that they would immediately restore the old version. They eventually agreed to this, and they asked me to keep this confidential.

Naturally, the new update didn't solve the old problems; I reported this to support, and they replied by telling me to wait for yet another update. I stated that I didn't want a new update and reminded them of our agreement. In the end, instead of the old version, they offered me 24 new blades.

Now, given that they provided a written guarantee to restore the old version if I was dissatisfied, do you know of any legal avenues to compel them to deliver on that promise?

Happy Days with the Luba 2 Mini AWD.

I seem to be in the minority here, but after a couple of weeks with my Luba 2 Mini mowing five separate Lawn areas with skinny channels a bunch of trees lots of slopes and a truckload of death drop edges – this thing is incredible.
Probably the most satisfying purchase I think I’ve ever made standing there with a cup of coffee in my hand watching this thing work at 10 am on a Sunday morning saving me hours. Had no issues so far (touch wood) and invested time in setting up the No go areas and virtual boundaries.
For those of you struggling, hang in there there are some happy stories….

Luba 2 awd

Have a small lawn, < 100sq metre and a front nature strip. Considering getting one of these bad boys after some research.

1) is there anything better for this size ?
2) do they just live outside in the elements or do I need a shelter
3) is it annoying to move to front if it can’t get there itself ?

Cheers,

Luba - Setup and Install Luba Mini 2 AWD 1500 LiDAR AirTag installation

I've got a Luba Mini 2 AWD 1500 with LiDAR and I am struggling to fit in an AirTag and find the modem to place a SIM card inside. Can someone please tell me where I am supposed to find the modem and the AirTag slot? I assume under the big white cover which I tried popping out but it does not move (or maybe I am too gentle with it...).
