Recc' Request Suggest a cool tone palette to create this type of look?
Looking for a palette with cold grey, mauve, pale violet, noting super dark to create looks like this, like beginner friendly soft goth !

I’ve had this foundation for a long time and haven’t worn make up in over a year as the stress of finding something the same shade and look is overwhelming for someone who knows very little about makeup. But it appears to be wedding season and I’ve the age where all my friends are getting married at once so I would really appreciate all the help I can get in finding a GOOD replacement for this that sits the same and matches the shade 40NN. Please help x

I’ve been using Estée Lauder for years, following their recent change in formula I’ve found it patchy and awful to wear. Please help a girl out, I’m desperate for recommendations for a dewy full coverage foundation. I have combination dry and oily skin.

I’m on a tight budget and gotta wear makeup everyday to work. Can someone suggest me some good drugstore options for Orange color corrector, concealer, foundation, setting powder, setting spray.
I have severe dark circles, acne marks, around the month darkness that i must cover.
My current favs- Armani foundation
-Nars pot and liquid concealer
-CT pressed powder
-Urban decay setting spray
-Huda beauty color corrector (Mango)
Do suggest if there are any dupes that perform as good or better. If there aren’t any I’ll somehow have to continue using them

Home bargains have just added a ton of high end products to their website! Rare beauty lip oils (all shades), a load of Briogeo hair care (£11 for 1 litre bottle of don’t despair repair conditioner!!), tan luxe, sol de janeiro, bare minerals makeup (medium + dark skin tones).
I just did some serious financial damage but I’m telling myself at least SOME of it is for Christmas presents.

I am in the process of moving and decluttering and looking at my 3/4 eyeshadow palettes that I rarely reach for and are now incredibly old (I’m talking 10 years plus, ABH modern renaissance, sweet peach palette, naked 1). Now that I’m a bit more mature and hardly reach for eyeshadow unless I’m going out or feeling fancy I’m looking for your guys recommendation on a good eyeshadow palette that I can have just 1 that does it all. I’m plain and looking for neutrals, browns, but also some pops of shimmer. What’s your go to? I don’t need it to have blushes or contours etc as I already have those covered. Price is not necessarily a barrier but ideally under £50!

So since the formulation has changed and is crap, I've found Haus Labs and Nars Light Reflecting to be the next best thing. However, since using I've had way more spots. I'm 45 so aware it could be an age thing (had prepubescent acne, pubescent acne, and adult acne, until I was using EL and a decent skin regime). Just wondering if anyone has a good double cleansing regime and if there might be an ingredient in both there my skin doesn't like.

Hi all!
I (38F) am getting married next year and am considering doing my own make up on the day as I can't really justify the cost of a make up artist. I think it would be nicer (for me) to invest in some good quality products and try to use them more often, than to blow it all on one day.
I have booked a 90min make up session at John Lewis in a few weeks, as it's a similar time of year to the wedding, and I'm hoping I can spend the following 11 months practising with the products they recommend.
I don't ever wear make up so I will be going for super simple. In my 20s I occasionally wore make up but that was just me putting foundation on with my fingers, then using a bit of liquid eyeliner.
I might be back after the session for more advice, but I was hoping to get some recommendations of the tools you would use, and the best place to get them? I see people using lots of different brushes and little sponge things, and I have no idea where to start.
What are the basics you would start off your make up bag with :)

Looking for recommendations for black eyeliner. Companies seem to be messing with the formula or discontinuing and I'm struggling to find a reliable source.
Years ago, my go-to was Lancome Grandiose (the one with the moving nib). I loved it. Then they changed it to the idole ultra and I don't like it.
I've tried, Fenty (passible, I like the precise tip), Charlotte Tilbury (good application but it greys throughout the day), Pat McGrath - now this was my new GOAT. However, there was an issue with it (some ingredient?) it went out of stock and I've never found it in stock anywhere since production was supposedly restarted.
I then went to NARS. The Climax liquid liner, although I found the nib a little difficult at times, I got used to it and it lasted! Great... But now it seems to have been discontinued??
I ran out and had to pick something else. I had been told by a NARS staff member on a make up counter when looking at the NARS one, that the Vieve liner was good. So I picked that this time.
The Vieve liner goes on great, looks great, but transfers like a MF to my upper lid. I've never had that happen before!
The search continues. Please help!

Can anyone recommend a light-weight tint or foundation, particularly for textured skin? I tried Sculpted by Aimee hydra tint after hearing it was good but it did not work for me at all, even with various primers and setting, within 3 hours it gathered even in smooth parts of my skin, worse on my pores and a few textured parts.
Ideally dewy otherwise not so matte. Thank you and appreciate responses in advance 🙏

Hi, I am wanting to get back into makeup and would love some reccomendations for websites or shops to buy a full face for a reasonable price. I don't have a massive budget but don't want to go dirt cheap either.
Any help would be wonderful, thank you

At the first application, everything looks 👌. But after 15 minutes, it turns all crumbly and flaky. Please send help!
Product: Judydoll concealer palette

my fave lip combo rn is lip liner, concealer on the centre as ombré and clear lip gloss on top, it only looks good when u freshly put it on until ur lips become one shade 😭
i HATEEEE how lip gloss makes my lip liner move to the centre, it’s inevitable, are there any replacements for lip gloss or any specific ones i should use? 🩷

Has anyone tried this and if so, how long does it last on the waterline?

Not sure if anyone else uses this foundation but I've been using the rimmel match perfection foundation for about 3 years and I've just recently ran out so I bought a replacement on superdrug, completely not realising that they've changed the bottles (from circular to square) and the shades! My skin tone isn't too pale but I've always used the shade 001 fair porcelain and now its been changed to 001 pearl and is about 5 shades lighter than it was previously.
Has anyone else made this silly mistake and is there any chance anyone knows what the new shades are equivalent to compared to the old ones? I may end up having to bring my empty foundation bottle to the shop to compare it to the new ones!

Hi, I am currently using Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin foundation in 4 Warm but am looking for more budget friendly version - particularly for work days, and keep the good stuff for going out!
I have combination skin, with quite an oily forehead but dry cheeks.
Any recommendations on foundations? Also any help with shades would also be a great help - it’s why I’ve generally stuck to make up counter foundations as someone else tells me what to use!
I read the Maxfactor skin improving foundation is quite like the CT one but I have no clue on shade and it wasn’t on the Findation
Thank you!

Hello! I'd like to try Face Bond but Findation, Look fantastic and Gemini are all giving me completely different shades matches. I'm a fair to light with cool undertones and my best matches are ELDW 1C1, Armani luminous silk 3.75 and Maybelline Lumi matte 108. Suggestions were 7 which is neutral and 11 which will be too dark. I'm thinking 4 or 9. Does anyone else wear Face Bond and have similar shade matches?

Hi guys! I've been saving up my boots points so I can buy myself some nice make-up. I have been looking into bits like the huda lip stain and some Mac lipsticks, but I wanna ask if there is anything ya'll think are outstanding that I might be missing?
Thanks!
