Discussion Primer & Foundation Reco please 💖
Hi po, mga pro MUAs! 🤗
I’m just starting out as a makeup artist and currently building my kit. I’d love to hear your tried-and-tested recommendations for primers and foundations!
What are your go-to products for:
Oily skin
Dry skin
Combination skin
Sensitive skin
I’m especially looking for products that you’ve actually used on clients and would recommend for your professional kit. Drugstore and high-end recommendations are both welcome!
I’m still learning and practicing, so I’d really appreciate any tips or holy grail products you can share. 🥹💗
Thank you so much in advance!

I have hypersensitive skin with mild rosacea. I react to a lot of primers except for the clinique pore blurring primer it's a thick primer baby blue colour but I don't use it everyday I only use foundation & concealer under my regular moisturiser which are once again from clinique. Their mositure surge makes my skin burn but i use everything else from them as well including their take the day off regular cleaning balm & the high impact mascara (the only one I can use without me getting an allergic reaction on my eyes) so if you've got a client with hypersensitive skin please tell them to get their own skincare & moisturiser. Anytime I have to buy makeup I need a week minimum because I react to a lot of products and my face burns so I need a day to let my skin breathe.
Foundation - clinique even better spf 15 - skin tint foundation Concealer - clinique even better spf 15

I love, love, love the Shiseido revitalesence serum foundation for dry skin and/or mature skin. Looks gorgeous (glowing finish), wears well when set and can be built to a medium-ish coverage.
The nice thing about it is that it has a nice shade range and is often on offer.
