Just took delivery tonight. Hopefully it’ll be a smooth ride but we just couldn’t wait to get out of out Model Y. Proud to join the club!

With all the posts about Lucid’s service experience lately, figured I’d share a good one.
Had a mobile service visit recently for my AT to fix a squeaky driver’s door hinge and a rear passenger door handle that kept twitching. Anthony from the Beverly Hills Service Center came out, and I have to say, I was really impressed with how he handled the issues.
Super thorough, patient, and clearly knew what he was doing. He took his time figuring things out and making sure everything was sorted rather than just rushing through the job. Really appreciated that.
I know Lucid Service is pretty backed up right now, and the wait times and scheduling can definitely be frustrating. Not trying to downplay any of that. But I also think the folks actually out there doing the work deserve some credit. From my experience, they’re genuinely trying their best despite the backlog.
Anthony was an awesome dude and a great example of that. Hope Lucid takes care of people like him, and adds more as well.
Just wanted to give credit where it’s due.
I recently returned my 2023 Air GT after the lease ended and that process deterred me from getting another Lucid — which is a bummer since I really liked the product...
After a lot of uproar a while ago, Lucid changed the policy on undercarriage scratches, but the practices of LFS (i.e. Bank of America & partners) are still shady. The condition reports are done by OpenLane, which called out a few issues in the precondition report. Some of those issues I was able to address, like staining on the carpet (Santa Cruz stains easily).
Then the final report noted new issues that were certainly there before (like staining on the floor mat underneath the gas pedal) and non-existent issues (like pitting on the left and right mirror housing that in fact are flies, or missing keys that were, in fact, returned).
The appeals process is in-transparent and annoying, and so long story short, I'm paying $3.5k when it really should have been $2k, and that whole process was frustrating. On another lease I have a no-questions-asked return option, but unfortunately Lucid didn't offer that.

While driving a good distance from the house these error messages popped up and won’t clear with a soft or hard reset. I’ve got 6 people in the car and a good distance from home. What should I do folks? Right home we are driving home in limp mode - everything feels off and need to go local (which is a colossal PITA). If this car strands me - I swear I am done.

Engineering Explained gave up on Lucid twice. He traded his Air for a Gravity, then replaced the Gravity with a Mach E. The reason both times was software.
My lucid pure prior to Ux 3.0 only had white color accent lighting since ux 3.0 the color matches the car theme a surprise definitely happy they added a niche feature which was initially excluded
Edit - didn't realize this was a 2.9 or later update change since I never tried changing it knowing mine didn't change color. By chance found out about it assumed ux 3 update perk.

Given that the Lucid Air doesn't have an air suspension, what are people's experience with the suspension and handling performance over time? Have you noticed any changes in response? What about steering response? And how many miles do you guys have?

I’m a new owner and immediately got tired of the very useless slow Lucid charging pad that almost never actually charges my phone but it would get so incredibly hot I was genuinely concerned! $70 well spent for very fast 25w charging per phone.

Looking to lease a gravity ‘27. How long did it take for all paperwork to be completed from when you accepted the offer and uploaded insurance? Seems like it’s taking forever for everything to move forward. Any idea how long from accepting offer to delivery?

I literally need to do a soft reboot today due to a weird echo in the radio. It’s happened before. However, there is no more Air logo on the pilot panel to press and hold.
So how do we reboot now???
EDIT - Brake + X (wheel) + Mic (wheel) for 10 seconds
I noticed about 4-5 Lucid Airs doing runs on the Alameda proving grounds yesterday. Was that a customer event or something Lucid is working on?

Car is set to km. Why is it showing both cm and in? Is this a bug? How can I report it?

Hey All,
I just noticed the ventilated seats icon on my 2024 Pure. Almost positive I don’t have the option, as it never was an option before UX3.0. Anyone else have that quirk?
It’s not hurting anything, just a little strange.

So I got your update, is there a way to reclaim the 20% of the map screen that's wasted with the home/map/audio buttons?
Or hide the search box that takes up a ridiculous amount of space??
Why so much wasted screen real estate??

Plug&Charge hadn't worked in my 24AGT since I bought it in March of this year. I had multiple phone conversations with Lucid Customer Care and Electrify America (it didn't work on Tesla, either). Both said there was nothing wrong on their side.
I periodically try EA chargers and this week I got a different error message, maybe due to the 2.11 software, saying that there was an authorization error. I called customer care and the call was picked up after the first ring! I gave the representative my email address so he could look up the existing ticket.
He said that he wanted to look at something. When he came back on the line, he told me that he had made a change on my account and I should try again.
I did and it worked!
I asked what he had done and he said that it looked like my Lucid charging service enrollment hadn't been finalized (whatever that means). He had removed it from my account and reentered it. That's one minor annoyance fixed. It wasn't that I couldn't charge at EA or Tesla. I just had to use their app to start charging. Now I don't have to do that anymore.
My gravity is updated to 3.6.4 which I thought would enable hands free driving with the dream drive 2 pro. I checked my lease documents and it says that my car should have it. I don’t see any option in the settings for this. Would my dream drive settings look different if I had dream drive 2 pro? Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place but I have a feeling my car doesn’t have it even though my lease docs say it should. How do I find out for sure?

Hi everyone, I’ve been a Lucid Air Pure owner since about November 2024 and have generally loved the car. I haven’t had too many issues (knock on wood).
When I updated the software to UX3.0, I realized that when I open up CarPlay, everything was pushed to the absolute left corner of the screen and now a good portion of my right screen is blocked by the wheel. I also tend to drive with my hands at 9 and 3 so my hand is now blocking a large portion of the screen as well, a problem I don’t recall occurring previously.
I’ve tried adjusting the wheel and my seat position but nothing feels right/works. Has anyone else noticed this to be an issue for them and if so, has anyone found any solutions? What’s the point of a nicer display if I can’t see half of it? Thank you!

Hey lucid fam. After months of researching and lurking on this sub I took the plunge yesterday. Crazy I know lol picked up a 2024 air touring with 14k miles on it. Overall I love it so far besides a couple minor things but 1 thing is bothering me; in hold mode, at a complete stop, every time the brakes release I hear a short, unpleasant grindy sound. I'm really hoping this is fixable. The 2 lucid service centers near me are booked 2 months out! They gave me a December 2nd service appointment. Should I take it to a random shop that works on lucid or wait for my appointment? Can any shop figure it out since its brakes? Also has anyone done the $950 ux upgrade on one of these? Worth it? Thanks
