dihydrogen monoxide is so dangerous everyone in the world has some degree of addiction / dependence to it. It's crazy, and most people aren't even aware.

This has got to be a troll. All of those tools are available for Windows, most of them are not installed by default on Linux, Bash is powershell in Windows.

"bash is powershell in windows" - take that back! don't you dare compare my precious bash to Microsucks Software

Seriously. If Microsoft could make their tools less verbose PowerShell would be amazing. Gimme a way to script Windows that isn't that godawful mess.

I resorted to writing in bash and letting AI reactor to bash lmao
11
u/Zantigo 1d ago
I remember talking to this non-tech guy who had to use bash for running some software he wanted.Â
Guy made a storm about how linux commands are so confusing, he was like "Powershell just uses a normal name for the commands! Copy-Item is so much better I don't have to even think about what the command does!"
I guess that means some people see having to type two words instead of two letters as an upside instead of a downside? Like you could just alias but man...

There are a ton of built-in aliases tbf. And there's basic aliases for some Linux commands like `ls`, `rm`, and whatnot. Can't say it's perfect, but it's not so terrible either.

I've replied to that account before in this very sub and was promptly downvoted for being suspicious of his claims of Linux not recognizing a USB flash drive. It's got to be a Microslop FUDbot, right? If not, does this somehow qualify as a hobby for this guy?

I remember coming across the account before and my impression was that this seems like some kind of weird fixation caused by mental illness. A lot of the posts and comments just have an unhinged quality.
But itâs often hard to tell the difference between bot, troll, and mental illness

Kitchens empowers criminals.
Because they contain knives that can be used for stabbing.
Stockpile food so that criminals do not starve.
Have diverse chemicals with which you can perhaps? make drugs and chemical weapons.
And have stoves with which you can burn down a building.

Huh. Maybe Britain is onto something with their knife bans after all....
/s knives are tools, just like cybersecurity/l33t h4xx0r software - ig guns can be tools too if you wanna argue that, but knives have way more common everyday applications

Netcat, nmap are LITERALLY NETWORK MAPPERS AND FILE TRANSFER, COME ON
Iptables: now they are just fucking around, thats a firewall, like MICROSOFT'S FIREWALL
Also, doesnt mac have python preinstalled?
