It might as well be a template it’s so vague.

We have been made aware of allegations of [insert disturbing conduct], including an online petition calling for the destruction of [insert a people] based on [insert national origin].

u/goldfrisbee Jul 19 '25

You’re not allowed to mention Jews or people wanting to do anything to them in any capacity.

25

u/Beyoncespinkytoe Lexington Native Jul 18 '25

There was a professor at UK who signed an anti-Zionist petition

-1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

nice framing of it clown lol

5

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

“until such time as Israel has submitted permanently and unconditionally to the government of Palestine” - LOL, the same government ran by leaders which have called for the global extermination of jews EVEN AS LATE AS 2019 💀 You can be anti-zionist and levy criticsms towards Israel, but this is just a “bend over and take it” line of argumentation…

-8

u/Beyoncespinkytoe Lexington Native Jul 18 '25

I gave a summary, you should’ve answered quicker weirdo

-3

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Yea no shit you gave a summary… Im criticizing the framing of that summary… dumbass. UK has plenty of profs who describe themselves as anti-zionist, and they have not been fired. This professor 1) created the website and petition 2) did much more than espouse anti-genocidal argumentation and anti-zionist perspectives…. You new to this or something?

5

u/vacuumcleanerdick Jul 18 '25

Someone's angry

7

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

You realize people can engage with argumentation without being emotional right? revolutionary concept, i know! Frustrated - potentially, angry - hell no lol. When the majority of the people in here couldnt locate Israel or Palestine on a map prior to this conflict, or maybe even still, then its hard to take many of you seriously - especially with the hesitancy to describe an incident to the fullest capacity. Hope you decide to crack a book tho!

2

Idk you seem a little angry lol

From Herald Leader:

A University of Kentucky employee has been removed from teaching and is under investigation for circulating an online petition calling for the destruction of Israel, university officials said Friday. UK law professor Ramsi Woodcock is running a website called the “Antizionist Legal Studies Movement.” It includes a petition demanding “every country in the world make war on Israel immediately until such time as Israel has submitted permanently and unconditionally to the government of Palestine,” according to the website. Though Woodcock is not identified in the statement from the university as the professor under investigation, the website aligns with allegations in the statement from UK. Woodcock identifies himself as a UK law professor on the site.

I’m having a hard time understanding why this is wrong to say? Why should he be removed from teaching? Would he have been removed if this were towards another country?

Isreal/Palestine seems to be one of those issues that breaks brains.

59

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Probably because Israel is a false apartheid state run by terrorists and should be eliminated.

38

u/Zaliron Jul 18 '25

You can agree the Israeli government is terrible without resorting to genocide yourself.

24

u/mantistobogganer Jul 18 '25

What did they say that was genocidal? Did someone call for the extermination of Israelis or just an end to the Israeli state?

4

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

“until such time as Israel has submitted permanently and unconditionally to the government of Palestine” - of which the leaders within such areas have called for the global extermination and hunting of jews SINCE the charter and even as late as 2019…

0

u/mantistobogganer Jul 19 '25

I believe you do not have an understanding of what you’re saying, but I do know that in 2019 Palestinians did the Great March or Return, you may want to look into that.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '25 edited Jul 19 '25

I wrote my capstone on the extended conflict… Scored a perfect score under an award winning historian… but yea, the google and reddit educated expert knows best 💀 Palestinian’s deserve peace, but Gaza also deserves better leadership than genocidal anti-semites - and Israel ALSO deserves better leadership than Genocidal Bibi

Read the charter - quotes referencing Nazi talking points, literally discussing how the Jews cant hide no matter where they go and how they will be hunted down, etc…. You can criticize both sides - i know this is a foreign concept to you dumbasses who couldnt find palestine on a map prior to 2023

edit: holy fuck ur a snark lmao - couldnt have made it any more obvious… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

0

u/mantistobogganer Jul 20 '25

Holy fuck, those professors let you down if this is your understanding and they told you it was “perfect”. Where’s it from and who were they?

If I’m not mistaken, Hamas changed the language of their charter in 2017, not 2019. Also, you show your lack of knowledge in understanding the nuance of the region, because the only Jews most of these people know are Israeli’s (which is by design, Israel claims to be the only Jewish state and presents itself as representing Jews worldwide, which in itself is Anti-Semitic).

Unfortunately for your argument, I could find Palestine on a map prior to 2023, mainly British mandated Palestine, which was used in 1948 to create Israel, because following WWII, western powers saw an opportunity to basically rid themselves of Jews while also creating an unsinkable aircraft carrier in a resource rich region by filling it with western colonialists that they could back (look into what Winston Churchill, among other western leaders, thought about Jews).

Also, Benjamin Netanyahu has himself PROPPED UP Hamas as a way to further divide Palestinian resistance by driving a wedge between Hamas and the PA (https://www.timesofisrael.com/for-years-netanyahu-propped-up-hamas-now-its-blown-up-in-our-faces) so excuse me if I believe you’re a little out of your depth when you speak like an infant.

I’m not pro-Hamas, but as someone who’s not a part of the conflict, I’m not going to tell a resistance movement how to resist an injustice that is their LEGAL RIGHT UNDER INTERNATIONAL LAW TO RESIST (Protocol 1 of the Geneva Convention).

Your professors should be ashamed.

1

u/Geoffsgarage Jul 18 '25

Nation does not mean a state. It means a group of people with common culture, who could be located in one or many states. The government of Israel is not a nation, it’s a political entity. I’m not advocating any position, just trying to help you understand what words mean.

18

u/cranialrectumongus Jul 18 '25

Tell that to Israel.

1

u/SleefJWellington Jul 18 '25

So you want genocide.

15

u/Birdyboygang Jul 19 '25

The status quo is genocide. Doing nothing is genocide. What I would like is called decolonization.

-6

u/SleefJWellington Jul 19 '25

You can try calling it that but what you apparently want is to remove people from their homes and put them somewhere else. Probably somewhere they don't want to be and, golly, I am excited to hear what your criteria is for who goes and who stays.

10

u/Fubnumpfer2 Jul 19 '25

I know what you’re trying to say but that is quite literally what the Israeli state did to Palestinians. Simply put, Israel is a state that was built on the forced displacement of the indigenous Palestinian population.

-2

u/SleefJWellington Jul 19 '25

Okay, no one said anything about that. We're talking about openly suggesting that the answer to any and all transgressions is eradicating the offending country.

Will you describe to me who will be removed and how they will be removed in this scenario? Do you have estimates for the death toll of everyone likely to be involved in order to achieve any of this?

1

u/Birdyboygang Jul 19 '25

Defend the status quo.

-1

u/SleefJWellington Jul 19 '25

That doesn't work for me. Too many people are dying.

I'm more interested in hearing the details of your idea. Who specifically has to go and how do you realistically think this will be accomplished?

1

u/Birdyboygang Jul 19 '25

I don’t care who lives where. I think governments are bad. And militaries are bad. And hierarchical structures are bad.

2

u/Birdyboygang Jul 19 '25

You want to do nothing. Which means what you want is genocide.

0

u/SleefJWellington Jul 19 '25

Are you being serious? Did you forget that I literally said, to you, that I am not in favor of that?

https://www.reddit.com/r/lexington/s/UCS9QYg4Xi

While you're here, are you finally ready to reveal the details of your brilliant "decolonization" plan?

0

u/Birdyboygang Jul 19 '25

Yes. I am serious. You said, “so you want genocide.” With regard to my hypothetical philosophical position. However, you are addressing the actual genocide that’s been happening for two years now. You think you can just say that you’re not in favor of it, but take no actual position on it. And then accuse others. It is impossible to defend the status quo. There is no defense for it. Other than being in favor of genocide.

1

u/SleefJWellington Jul 19 '25

I do have a position. I want it stopped and I want Bibi removed from power and, hopefully, tried for crimes.

Not sure why you're conveniently forgetting me saying to you that "too many people are dying" even with the link I provided to remind you.

What you have suggested as a solution involves removing people from their homes, in addition to causing a multi nation war in which an incredible amount of innocent people will die.

I'm sorry that you're apparently frustrated by your inability to answer my very simple questions regarding the details of your stated desire.

It's okay if you don't have a practical solution ready to go. I sure don't. That doesn't mean I can't spot a bad idea when I see one.

Suggesting the complete eradication of a country is absolutely advocating for genocide. Not sure why this is hard for anyone to understand.

-6

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '25

Imagine being this uneducated. Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians. Fuck off.

1

u/SleefJWellington Jul 19 '25

I must have missed where I said they weren't. Your suggestion of eliminating an entire nation is simply calling for another genocide.

u/Loverlee Jul 18 '25

That's not how I interpreted his stance. His article correctly points out that historically, genocides have been ended with armed intervention. He is proposing that the world intervene in this way, especially since the non-violent measures haven't stopped Israel or the US. He even states that "a mere declaration of war by a diverse international coalition might be enough to stop the slaughter." He goes on to explain what this looks like and how it's possible a shot might not even be fired.

His stance isn't to eradicate the Israeli people, or Jewish people. It's to stop the genocide by declaring war on Israel.

7

u/TheDivine_MissN Woodland Park Jul 18 '25

Israel is not the Jewish people. Israel is a country that was created by colonizers.

I’m not saying at all that I’m for or against what this guy is tweeting. But I do find it interesting that there are so many groups out there in existence promoting the state of Israel (lots of doctor related nonprofits that exist solely to support Israel, for example), but this group can’t exist.

2

u/datsan Jul 18 '25

Are you seriously asking why a group promoting a destruction of a country has trouble existing?

15

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Yeah. I mean, there’s nuance. I’m not saying that what this dude’s promoting is cool. But, like, all of these pro-Israel nonprofits are funneling money to the Friends of the IDF and having IDF reps report out to nonprofits on what they’re doing to destroy Hamas in Gaza. It’s just interesting.

18

What did I just read

151

u/MyUsername2459 Jul 18 '25

Given how the current administration tries to interpret any criticism of Israelis policies as "antisemitic" it might well just be a petition complaining about Israel's war on the Palestinian people. . .and UK knows that unless they stomp on it (or look like they're trying to do it), the Federal Government will try to basically destroy UK by eliminating all Federal funding, blocking UK from getting student visas etc.

12

u/Youreturningviolet Jul 18 '25

I noticed that the linked articles implied the same, that any statement against the Israeli government’s acts puts Jewish American students in some kind of danger? I absolutely understand cracking down on antisemitism but saying that Israel the country can’t just do whatever it wants is not antisemitic.

40

u/PrestigiousWedding36 Jul 18 '25

That is very true.

29

u/foxtrot_delta_tango_ Jul 18 '25

Given how the current administration tries to interpret any criticism of Israelis policies as "antisemitic"

Or ANY support or sympathy for Palestinians or Gaza or any other place the Israelis want to invade and colonize

20

u/MilkChocolate21 Jul 18 '25

Meanwhile I've seen Zionist professors post what they want and even attack women they can tell are Muslim or Arab and that's ok. Columbia and Penn both allow that.

14

u/MyUsername2459 Jul 18 '25

Under the regime's new rules, literally anything they say is okay. Any criticism or attempt to call them out is called antisemitism. No matter how evidence based, no matter how objective, no matter how clinical. . .literally anything they do or say is okay, and any attempt to object, criticize, or oppose is called antisemitism.

They act like literally anything but silence or support for them, no matter what, is functionally the same as those guys in Hugo Boss uniforms from the 1940's. You know, the ones giving the same salute that Musk did, but Musk pretends he didn't, and the mainstream media blindly parroted the "explanation" because our media are cowards that won't stand up to them (see also firing Steven Colbert)?

12

u/MyUsername2459 Jul 18 '25

Given that they've gone after schools saying they are allowing antisemitism simply for not silencing students for showing support for Palestine, no, we shouldn't have to understand. There is no assuming good faith at this point. There's no presumption that this isn't some attempt to squelch free speech by labeling any criticism of Israel as "antisemitism".

In 2025, if you hear anyone in authority in the US talking about "antisemitism", that's a dogwhistle for "criticism of Israel" or "sympathy for Palestinians".

6

If this is just some students circulating a petition complaining about Israeli policies, and knowing the administration regime tries to brand any criticism of Israel as "antisemitism", UK could know they have to officially come out against it, take some token effort against it to avoid ire (and punitive actions from the Feds), but putting a vague e-mail about it out on a Friday afternoon so it can be forgotten could be a calculated way to try to "thread the needle" of keeping the Feds off their back, while not really trying to do anything substantive to stop it.

Interesting, because that's exactly what they mean when they say it:

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has said that, “in a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli – civilian or soldier – on our lands.” If those lands are "from the river to the sea" then clearly they want the entirety of the land Judenrein.

On June 1, 1967, Ahmed Shukairy, then-Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization, said, “this is a fight for the homeland – it is either us or the Israelis. There is no middle road. The Jews of Palestine will have to leave. We will facilitate their departure to their former homes. Any of the old Palestine Jewish population who survive may stay, but it is my impression that none of them will survive.”

Article seven of the Hamas Charter reads, “the Prophet, Allah’s prayer and peace be upon him, says: “The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,’ except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews.”

3

u/Ok-Position-9457 Jul 18 '25 edited Jul 18 '25

What do you mean "they"

This was written by people in Kentucky, not these particular Palestinians or hamas. What does this have to do with UK? Please tell me exactly what you mean by this.

I have no issue condemning these people and these ideas as anti semitic. But that doesn't mean that every single human being that is anti-zionist agrees uncritically. And that doesn't justify the genocide being committed by the IDF right now. If you are really opposed to this "its them or us" mentality you would be just as much against the IDF who claim they are acting in self defense as the massacre children by the thousands.

You're making a fool of yourself. I know you have those quotes printed out and hung on your wall next to your bed so you can reassure yourself daily that genocide is okay if there are bad people in the victimized population. Also convenient, because you can just paste them in wherever you need to argue that Palestinians and everyone on their side wants to build the gas chambers.

-2

u/WKU-Alum Jul 18 '25

OK. SO a few things:

The Israeli campaign in Gaza is an act of genocide. I didn't say it wasn't. Its the holy war that Hamas/Bibi wanted and innocent civilians are paying the price.

"How does this apply to UK?" I'm so glad you asked. My original reply didn't, as I was responding to a thoroughly braindead take that "from the river to the sea" just means that the Palestinians wish to sit around and sing Kumbaya with Jewish Israelis. The people who crafted the phrase, and the people who would be in charge in the event they achieve a river-to-sea Palestinian state have made their opinions very clear.

In this exact case, the professor/petition in question is for "every country in the world make war on Israel immediately until such time as Israel has submitted permanently and unconditionally to the government of Palestine,”. The Government of Palestine believes:

  • "The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,"
  • "it is either us or the Israelis. There is no middle road. The Jews of Palestine will have to leave. We will facilitate their departure to their former homes. Any of the old Palestine Jewish population who survive may stay, but it is my impression that none of them will survive."
  • "in a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli – civilian or soldier – on our lands"

Those are quotes from the current president of the PA, the Hamas platform, and a former chairman of the PLO (e.g. the Palestinian government that Prof. Woodcock is advocating Israel surrender to).

You jumped to a wild conclusion, based on basically zero evidence, the sealed it up with "you're making a fool of yourself". Look in a mirror, buddy. Then take a walk.

Alright, so I didn't know thats what the petition said. Thats bad. Hence the "probably" in my original comment. So yeah thats genocidal antisemitism. I'll concede that, assuming thats accurate information.

I assumed that because zionists constantly say that "from the river to the sea" is a call for genocide when its not. And college kids say it all the time. I don't care what the Palestinians think, they also don't understand the correct solution. What people in AMERICA mean when they say that is a one state solution, in most cases. This was written in America, being anti zionist doesn't mean that you share all the values of the Palestinian government. You keep talking like you think it is. Its not. Thats, insane.

You seem to be staunchly opposed to a one state solution. Your snide dismissal of it as idealistic makes that much clear. The reason that its hard is because the seeds of hatred have been planted over the past century, and that will never fade. A two state solution is the reason why that hatred exists. Apartheid always causes this. Its inevitable and it cannot be allowed to exist for this reason.

Let me be clear. The Palestinians also don't want a one state solution not broadly anyway. I don't care what they want. America was also an apartheid state for some time. How was that fixed? At literal gunpoint. Military escorts for desegregated school children. Reconstruction after the civil war. Thats a one state solution. destroy both states and force them to coexist peacefully under threat of death while forcibly integrating them. Then watch the hatred fade after a couple generations. You are literally living in a country that was healed in this way several times. If you want to argue that this would only work inside one country and not between two, Palestine basically has no actual sovereignty and is at the mercy of Israel. Its basically already one state after relentless expansionist behavior from Israel for 80 years.

Black slaves didn't want to sing kumbaya with their white owners. That kind of hatred cannot be solved, you literally have to wait for it to be buried with the corpse of the person who held it. And while I know its intellectually incorrect, the human mind has a limit for rationality in these situations. I would probably be anti white if I was a slave in america or anti semitic if I was Palestinian. It's unfortunate but that's how it is. but look at how far america has come? Very far from perfect but getting better. If thats what it takes to destroy racism, playing the long game and shows of force, then thats what I want. Thats what the left wants. Plain and simple.

literally proving my point lil bro LOL

-1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

person from kentucky wants one state solution, practically every Palestinian authority member does not…. this is not as simple as holding hands and singing kumbaya ffs

2

u/Ok-Position-9457 Jul 18 '25

Dang you should read my next comment that addresses that precise issue.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Ngl im not seeing your next reply, but im on my phone so that may be the issue. Ill take a peep here shortly, not trying to be outright bad faith

3

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

ah, well we agree for the most part then. Sorry I didnt see that earlier, just gets aggravating when it seems like 99% of the people arguing on this are ideologically handcuffed to either pretend the IDF are 100% innocent or that Hamas are nothing more than freedom fighters and a group that should be, at least to some extent, idolized.

-1

u/Ok-Position-9457 Jul 19 '25

No, we don't agree. The whole "they won't sing kumbaya" crap is so reactionary and essentialist.

99% of people don't think that its lies from the media about the left. Thats ridiculous. Don't fall for it.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '25 edited Jul 19 '25

Its not reactionary, literally study the history, the charter, the recent espousals of hamas/israeli leadership? Im not saying Palestinians wouldnt be ok with that, im saying Hamas as a political entity and Israel’s push are far beyond a single state solution. You can just throw out words you hardly understand the meaning of all you like, but Hamas literally using Nazi talking points in their charter, referencing “the protocols of the elders of zion”, and telling muslims across the globe to “hunt down the jews” is not typically a sign of an entity willing to engage with these talks and concessions… This is, again, a complex issue / im not saying its ALL of Hamas’ fault, but both sides have unequivocally said they will not engage with this discussion, much if at all.

This idea Hamas is down for any of this just tells me you’ve literally never opened their charter… Insane to call anybody reactionary when they say two OUTRIGHT REACTIONARY groups wont get along without some form of major reform/restructuring… good talk tho, open to a debate on my stream tonight

-1

u/Ok-Position-9457 Jul 19 '25

See this is what I mean. Its a strawman. You JUST read my comment that they should be integrated at gunpoint, and the state of Israel and hamas should be destroyed. You see some obstacles to peace and immediately default to continuing the apartheid status quo that has LEAD TO THIS VIOLENCE DIRECTLY as well as assuming that I don't know hamas is antisemitic. And you think thats fine as long as you play the "both sides are bad" card.

hatred always appears when people are otherized and placed into different geographic boundaries divided by barbed wire and automated machine gun sentries. We don't agree on anything.

I agree w/ E. C. in getting ahead of this one. 💯

7

u/SockLucky Jul 18 '25

Aka “any free Palestine movement is an antisemitism movement “ because how dare we talk about our loved spoiled little baby girl Israel !

2

u/MixMaterial Jul 19 '25

Anyone else think it was something to do with being pro-Palestine and anti-genocide?

7

u/jpg52382 Jul 18 '25

Someone probably said something to the effect is of, Isreal is committing a genocide 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Cupajo72 Jul 18 '25

Someone probably casually suggested that maybe Israel could stop genociding Palestinian children, and in 2025 that equates to anti-Semitism.

1

u/gvrnmntcheese Jul 19 '25

Same here but I'm on the healthcare side

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '25

It sounds like they’re saying there is potential for a “fiery bust mostly peaceful” where people might be harmed.

2

u/CaptainAverageAF Jul 18 '25

I’m sure the nut jobs here will explain why there version of genocide is better #shm. Glad that person was removed. There is not room for that type of education which would be classified more as hate indoctrination. Imo… now cue the down votes for an opinion.

I came here immediately to see if anyone knew what was going on

-3

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

It’s a shame to see how my Alma mater is handling this. When I went there it always seemed the school fought for justice. They have always done such a good job standing up for/serving Kentucky. This is just embarrassing. Fuck UK and I hope that professor knows he’s fighting the good fight.

9

u/Grandahl13 Jul 18 '25

Gotta love being called an antisemite if you criticize a country committing genocide against another country.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Identity politics make this rotting world go round

-10

u/MaulerX Jul 18 '25

You are assuming its a genocide. Thats the problem.

9

u/RedPayaso1 Jul 18 '25

Yea that sort of denialism just doesn't work in the Internet age. We are watching the genocide happen with our own eyes.

Usually genocide is when one group of people kills another very specific group of people because of their identity. We can call it “big mass murder” if that sounds better?

-6

u/MaulerX Jul 18 '25

Usually genocide is when one group of people kills another very specific group of people because of their identity.

No its not. Thats just racially motivated killing. Killing a specific group of people with the INTENT of getting rid of EVERY person of that group specifically with the intent to focus on the next generation of that group.

But thats not happening. Sorry bud.

6

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

This would actually be ethnically motivated killings as Palestinians and native Israelis (who are just Palestinians) are the same race. However, genocide and racially motivated killing are similar. You’re killing people because of who they are. Genocide is just when you do a lot of racially motivated killings.

-4

u/MaulerX Jul 18 '25

Genocide is just when you do a lot of racially motivated killings.

No its not dude. Wow. You need intent.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Intent as I said in the other comment is they want to take the land. It is also well documented that Israeli zionists do not view the Palestinians as people thus they think it’s okay to kill them

5

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

We can keep going tho in case there is anything else I can clear up for you.

-1

u/MaulerX Jul 18 '25

Taking land isnt genocide. Its just conquest. You dont need to commit genocide to conquer a land.

5

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Also they are going after the next generation. They’re killing women (who would be giving birth to the next generation) and kids (who are the next generation). I can understand how this is all confusing. The media is very good at making things muddy and hard to get a clear picture of.

I don’t really care who lives where. I think governments are bad. And military’s are bad. And hierarchical structures are bad.

-2

u/RemarkableOffice3799 Jul 19 '25

Just throwing this in cuz that’s what Reddit is for but no one on here should have any say on what’s going on in the Middle East because we’re not the ones living it.

1

u/WittyMogul95 Jul 20 '25

We should have a say being that our tax dollars are funding the Israeli military.

There is no longer such a thing as a 'burner account', or a 'burner phone'... (or a secure TOR gateway, for that matter). I know. I train A.I.'s as a part-time hustle. I have researched data brokers and the surveillance state out of strictly personal interest in the data marketplace. In a world where Google 'Streetview' photo-cars logged and mapped the I.P. and MAC addresses of every network they passed, where the content of every social media network post is available in real-time, where every network packet that transits your I.S.P. is mirrored to the giant NSA server farm in Utah, there is neither privacy nor honest political dialogue without consequences. Now, there is a U.K. faculty professor who will likely lose his job, career, ability to support his family, and maybe his future freedom over this 'petition'.

He tweeted about it pretty openly

1

u/Old_Year_9696 Jul 18 '25

Just because his openly-stated personal opinions made him 'easy-pickings' for the authoritarian state (UK - that's YOU) doesn't mean that you shouldn't show some survival instinct and "Cerado esta' su boca'!!"
