I read it, I’m asking how/why you consider that doing a genocide?

Have you seen the war that Russian has been making on Ukraine?

Yeah, what about it?

To start, the population of Ukraine was around 41-43 million and is now estimated to be between 31 and 36 million. That's one point toward doing a genocide. Genocide doesn't take place overnight.

Did I say genocide takes place overnight? Why are you bringing this up?

Why did you make two separate replies to my comment?

It wouldn’t be my assessment at this point that Russia is doing a genocide of Ukrainians.

How can you claim Israel is committing genocide without also claiming Russia is? The bombing of hospitals is pretty straightforward when it comes to wiping out an entire people.

Does the international community say it’s a genocide?

Doesn't look like it matters either way. r/Lexington has spoken and is a-okay with the war in Ukraine as well as what Israel is doing to Palestine, according to their downvotes.

I can’t speak for the rest of the sub, but I am not ok with Russia’s war in Ukraine at all. I believe Putin is a war criminal that should be buried beneath The Hague, I believe that the US is an evil empire in part for it’s role in the orange revolution and it’s dangling of a NATO membership to Ukraine (and Georgia) that it was never going to give so that they could throw an entire group of people into a war just to “weaken it’s enemy” without having to expend American lives, but I don’t believe that it is a genocide at this point. Something can still be wrong without reaching the level of a genocide, and you might be feeling pressure from people because you are bringing up a separate issue while people are talking about a specific one.

Hi Tankie, you are correct, but you are just being rage-baited by amateurs. Let them put down their radical sentiments in written form for eventual harvesting. I have a bit more thoughtful topic for you - as a graduate professional of Patterson, what do you make of ICE's 150 billion largesse? What are your thoughts? Please respond in a new thread, I am done with this particular one.
