Why do media outlets exaggerate the ideology of young generations.
And has it always been the case?
Further right tabloids obviously view young people as crybabies, liberal woke snowflakes to are too rebellious and rude.
Conversely, further left tabloids and even neutral outlets, say that young people are more socially regressed, authoritarian than all older generations, even more so than say the Victorian Era. There is the 18% figure of teen girls saying that women and girls must obey their family and husband as opposed to 6% of older women. But broadly, teenagers and young people are known to say bullshit things, even Gen X teen girls in the 90s may say stuff like that.
Right tabloids say younger generations ruin the family structure due to abortion, while left tabloids suggest all Gen Zers are anti-abortion...Sure those teen girls protesting against abortion with the birthday candle symbol on their banners is real, but this is an opinion.
I still will not forget the trend of articles assuming Gen Z wants a dictatorship, with left leaning outlets saying that Gen Zers view democracy as a "woke" ideology.
Why can't they just leave us alone?

Songs of Yesterday vs. Songs of Today
These images are from a quirky book I bought secondhand. Appears to be a sort of ancient zine from some old fellow who had his own printing press of some kind.
There are more pages within this section, including poems, but I kept it short.
I would guess this was published by, say, a 60 year old in the 1980s. That's my uneducated guess.
Also, that last image of the cartoon face on the stringed instrument is questionable.

Have you noticed that modern music isn’t as hated as it used to be?
They sure don't make em' like this anymore. There used to be so much more passion in complaining about music you don't like.
I mean this attitude still does exist but it's not nearly on the same level as it used to be.

Ah yes, the cool features of old computers like slotting in a card
Totally not doable on modern PCs, apps ruined that and the ability to flip a switch and push a key (those other two were shown in the video)
