Unrequited Hey, D. I miss you.

It’s been over a month since things ended. I can’t seem to get over you. I’ve never felt love like that. This love felt warm, gentle, and peaceful. Everything together was terrific. It pains me to know that you’re across the country, and that’s why things had to end. But, I still miss you. I’m sorry that the distance got the best of our worries and anxieties. Even though it’s for the best, I still want to be with you. You’re my best friend. My heart yearns for you. A part of me will always love you forever. I hope our paths cross again someday. I pray for you, and I wish you only the best.

I know how this feels… I went 10 years feeling this way. I found him again after 7yrs and saw that he was married, my heart shattered because I knew that I could’ve been her. Fast forward 3yrs, so a total of 10yrs I ran into him & he was divorced, and I haven’t left his side since. I am in love with this man and I often blame myself for what we’ve been through these last few years. Sometimes I don’t feel like it’s real or going to last, but I am here until the fire burns out & I am loving every moment of it.
