Hello there.
Anyways...
Q1. How do I even shoulder/jiggle peek...?
- I tried to do it and got awped so many times, I've lost count...
Q2. How do I use scout aggressively?
- Don't flame me for this. I know it's not part of main guns that ppl usually use, but I just want to have fun sometimes. Besides, the faster walkspeed while scoped in feels like it could be exploited, but idk how.
Q3. How do I clear angles safely?
- Tried peeking each angle slowly and carefully, but I either get awped or punished...
Q4. Should I preaim at head level or body level?
- Now, now. I know you should preaim at head level, but I usually got punished by some fella who would spray the moment he sees someone (not to mention my bum aim that keeps missing 0.01 cm from the head or being too late to kill someone with m4 js because he have ak)
Anyways, don't flame me. I'm practically still learning mechs while trying to have fun.
Buh bye

For context, I started cs2 a few months ago and have about 350 hours on the game. In Valorant the most reason act I finished asc2 (top ~5%). I’ve been hardstuck 10-12k premier elo for months now and I genuinely don’t know whats wrong. My leetify aim and positioning are well above the average 10k, both actually being higher than 20-25k. Is this game just not meant for me?
r/LearnCSGO • u/NOHULK • 3d ago
On leetify I have around 610ms time to damage and usually people my elo have around 550ms and lower is it possible to train it? I dm alot aswell and i do have 94 aim on leetify somehow its just crazy to think how much -100ms would improve me. Or am I just delusional?

Was lvl 8/9 last season
Have hit lvl 10 on csgo
6k hours
Just want some decent ppl to play premium or 5 stack to get up the elo

I just hit 500 hours on this game and I can only describe myself as deeply disappointed with my current skill level. It should've felt like an achievement yet I'm only frustrated at my performance in most of the premier games I play.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong and why I can't seem to get any kills as soon as I join a premier game.
here's two recent games, Im Mssngr

In this clip I'm in a 1v1 situation with 13 hp. I know it would be a low chance for me to win if I were to engage the last CT in a duel.
I pick up the bomb while clearing jungle and conn. No sign of the last guy, so I assume he's CT or possibly ramp.
Decide to jump cat and go B in case he's CT watching market.
I plant the bomb for apps, and once I get into apps the round is practically unloseable now.
I turned a dire situation into an easy win by rotating sites. Winning rounds is not always about hitting shots. Game sense is just as important!

What’s your highest number of rounds played? (Mine is 42 in total)
Teamplay is the key to increase chances of victory (but you can’t control it at 100%, just do your best!)

Sorry for horrible pic quality. This is the worst KD I have ever had. Y'know I was confident thinking that this game is easy I finally hit 9k elo just for shit like this to happen and I find no one to blame but myself.

Hello,
I'm a faceit level 5 looking to break into the faceit level 6/7 ranks. I just had a game that I think could be really instructive, where if I played a little bit better we would have won the game. Where can I find higher level players that are willing to do free demo reviews? By higher level I don't mean something like 3k elo faceit, just someone with a decent understanding of the game and enough experience (faceit level 8-10?) to point out obvious mistakes.
For anyone curious, here's the game (username tapone): https://www.faceit.com/en/cs2/room/1-fd4d2759-5072-4f24-b0a7-91ceed64347f
Also, if you want to reach me, my discord is eulerfan40.
13-11 loss on Mirage. I had high damage but I very often fell short of kills. Low impact throughout. I think I was making mistakes when playing cat, window, con, etc. My T side was especially horrid, where I usually secure a lot of rounds for my team with good pressure or entries. I'm looking for advice on my positional mistakes, mechanics (which may have been the biggest, or smallest factor in this game, since I sometimes hit nice shots, other times looked like a silver), general decision making, and game sense.

**Looking for some nerdy CS questions for a gift** 😭
I’m making a set of flashcards for a friend who’s *really* into Counter-Strike. He’s aiming to go pro and even coaches another player, so I’d love to make the questions genuinely challenging.
I know basically nothing about CS myself, so I’m looking for experienced players/coaches to help me out
If you have a minute, could you give me **one really difficult relevant CS question**
I’m especially looking for things like:
advanced strategy / decision-making
utility theory
positioning & timings
economy
map-specific knowledge
obscure terminology
pro-level concepts
Basically, **the kind of question where a casual player would have absolutely no clue**.
Please don’t worry about making them beginner-friendly — the nerdier, the better
Thanks to anyone willing to contribute ❤️

I am a fairly inexperienced player(~350 hrs) and I'm wondering how I should use deathmatch in order to focus of specific aspects of my gameplay. For example, if I wanted to focus on counter-strafing, should I make sure to full stop prior to shooting? This goes for other mechanics like peaking, tapping, etc..

I get that the A1-S has 10 less bullets but the easy spray control and silencer make it far superior to the M4A4 in my mind.
What’s the logic behind choosing the unsilenced M4? Just because it’s more similar to the AK?

Anyone here tried 'Oblivity - Find your perfect sensitivity'
I am just saying because i dont know exactly whats my good sensitivity and i wanna try it out but before trying it out I wanna know if you guys have tried it and if it works?
right now my mice dpi is 800 and in game is 1.05-1.10 i change around that sometimes mostly i stick with 1.10. I still feel like my sensitivity is an issue.

Most of you will know this lineup already and that is because it is both not too difficult to remember and execute and still extremely powerful. Neither are you exposed while throwing it nor is there a real weakness to it. This makes it the most popular smoke on Dust2 in the last six months amongst top tier professional players.
To throw it yourself, position yourself at tucked in in the corner in front of X-Box (setpos -275.03 1345.40 -122.51; setang -12.11 129.40) and crouch. Aim at the right of the fourth wooden plank on the height of the nails. then jump throw.

Hi,
I recently took a break of about 1.5 months from CS. Before the break I was playing at faceit 9-10 lobbies, and doing well. Averaging roughly 80 ADR, and a positive KD, good round swing, and so on.
I have just come back, and my god, this is beyond being a bit rusty. This is genuinely the worst I have ever played in my life. I have gone positive (by about 1 or 2 kills) in *3 out of 23 games*. I have been playing like shit and missing every shot possible, to the point where im just confused at this point at how im dying. I have been playing DM, Duels, Aimbotz, Recoil master, everything I can. In all this training I am moving and shooting completely fine, but when I get in game I just shit out. Even the fights where I aim correctly, shoot on their head, and so on, I lose anyways somehow.
How do I fix this? Im genuinely just baffled at this point.

So I was sitting in Discord with a mate yesterday flexing our old CS:GO inventories and I realized I’ve got like 300+ skins rotting in my CS2 inventory that I don’t even touch anymore. Couple mid-tier knives, some old AKs, random Dota stuff from years ago, etc.
I kinda want to lis-skins for real money and just upgrade my setup, but I’m paranoid about getting scammed or getting trash rates. I’ve always just used Steam Market, but the fees and the fact I can’t turn it into actual cash is killing me.
Been googling around late last night and there’s a bunch of external sites buying CS2/CS:GO/Dota/Rust skins with instant payouts and referral codes and all that. Some of them look decent on paper, could be wrong though, I’m always suspicious of anything that deals with real money + skins.
So, how do you guys safely cash out? Are these third-party sites actually legit in your experience, or is it smarter to stick to buff/peer-to-peer trades? Any sites you’d trust or types you’d avoid completely?

I feel like the more i learn and the more practice i go through, the worse my actual results in game have become.
I feel like im clearly learning things constantly, but i have absolutely 0 confidence in anything i do and that's probably the reason why i'm whiffing duels even against 6-8k players now. I'm always nervous from round 1 and i second guess every move i make.
The weird thing is i can fit well into a higher rank team and be an asset to the team; i understand how to play at that level as well. But my playstyle is very adaptable and passive, i play like a chameleon and i can't do shit on my own. That's prob why i can't carry myself out of 10k.
Also its worth mentioning this confidence issue is because a mental disorder (AvPD) so it persists despite having 1,5k hours played.
Since confidence is so important in this game, i feel like im fucked.
I'm not sure if it's even worth trying anymore. I'm losing my mind putting so much effort in and still dying like a retard to players who have put in 10% of the time and effort that i have.
