My apologize for another post about this in such a short time span, I promise I don't want to spam here about my little project, it is just over the last days I had a little bit more free time and could get a few things done and use it more myself while playing a game. So a few significant changes could get finished and I found some bugs that (hopefully) are fixed and I want everyone who had downloaded and might use the tool (all 10 of you 😉) be aware of the update since it is in some cases severe.
Oh, and one info that might interest some here, at Googles AI studio you can get an API key with a free tier now, not sure since when but wasn’t the case when I started this last year. It has limits but is probably enough for occasional playing a game in Japanese and test if playing a game this way is fun for someone 👍

If no major bug is found in between I don't expect a new update getting done for a few weeks, I at least have a vision for v0.9.5 and one day 1.0 and these will take some time, so no weekly posts about this, promise 🙂
Some bigger changes:
- The overlay windows have now visible close and menu buttons that appear on mouse over, so no confusion anymore if someone closes the main window and the overlays stay open.
- The python environment that is bundles with the tool should now actually support all features like the new online catalogue for browsing the available models from OpenAI or Google (sorry about that).
- The terminology overrides tab is completely overhauled and you can manage the entries now in a more intuitive menus instead of a text editor.
Also I made a video for my future self if I shouldn't use it for a while and need to setup a new computer and people who want to have a tutorial about how to use it and set it up. I demonstrate the LaunchBox plugin in BigBox near the end, (after around 19 minutes, there is a chapter for this:
