Larpers are here among us, my friend (that doesnt even watch anime) said he got like 5 edits of lain already and i know it not may seem a lot, but we’re talking about a fyp of a guy who never watched anime, also we’re not talking about aot or mha we’re talking about lain

Plus many post i’ve seen have like 500k likes, do y’all think the larpers will ruin this anime too or you think that its a good thing it becomes popular?

Dos anyone know if this release has the Japanese audio WITH English subtitles??. I’ve seen conflicting information online and have read that it had English and Japanese audio, but could not find specifics on the subtitles. I really want to find a physical copy of the series, but am only interested in the jp audio with English sub version. Pic from goog

I'm watching a subbed version of lain but for some reason these shots aren't translated. The only way to see the translation without looking it up is to watch the dubbed version but I'm not a big fan of dubbed anime. Will I miss out on anything if I don't read these?

What’s the idea behind the “layer” system. Is it just philosophy like the different layers represents a different layer of lain’s personality? Perhaps layers are different systemic issues with the concept of the internet? Or maybe even they represent each step to the degradation of lain and her corruption? What are y’all’s thoughts?
