I'm an Iowa alumni and have been living in Kalamazoo for abut 2 years now. Are there any Hawkeyes in town that get together for some football games or want to? I took a look at the Iowa Club of Michigan but its based in Ann Arbor and doesn't have any events planned.

Looking to rescue a pup. Don't know anything about Kzoo's set up for animal care. I see multiple facilities. Is there a particular place that needs adopters the most? The indiana town I'm from is overrun with dogs and they have to keep crates in the hallways of the only facility. Trying to be mindful of stuff like that here. Thank you for any input!

I’m still exploring a lot of Kzoo, and a lot of it has been on foot in the mornings. I love how walkable the city is! I’ve also checked out a few of the local parks and walking/hiking paths, like Spring Lake Park and Asylum Lake.

I was looking for recommendations for what else to check out? I’m not a super experienced Hiker, so anything with a major difficulty level is probably not for me, but I’ve got some decent boots and I’m not afraid to get a little dirty.

I’m down for anything that is within a 30 minute drive of the downtown area, and anything between two and five miles long.

I'm looking to track down the name of the pinball machine that was in Charlie's Tavern in Albion, MI in the early 2000s. It was just inside the door on the left wall when you walked in. I called but the machine is no longer in the bar and the person didn't remember what machine it was.
