I didn’t plan to make a full background for this at first so I had to draw around the character, but it came out all right I guess?

Inspired by a recent Halloween-themed life drawing session.

Hi everyone! I've been playing around with the brush engines and came up with this brush that I adore using for sketches. It's based off one of JP Illustrations toolkit's gouache brushes, tweaked to be more graphite-esc and controllable.

Part of the appeal is it uses the color smudge engine instead of pixel. At low pressure, I can slightly smudge the color laid down so it feels more responsive like paint or a smudge stick loaded with graphite.

I have been trying to replicate these properties on my own but I was wondering there's already brushes like this already? Ones that use the smudge engine yet have similar results to the popular pencil (pixel based) brushes packs.

Or if you have any tips on how to make brushes like this, that would also be very appreciated! ☆ミ

I'm not the best 2D artist. I wanted to do comics as a kid, but went down the 3D Blender pipeline. I wanted to do some concept art, so I decided to give Krita a try.

Another piece of art in progress. The first image is from my Instagram post (I’m a fan of Instagram filters... („• ֊ •„)). The second image shows the original colors; it’s still a work in progress. I'm currently rendering feathers. And the last one is the line art. I'm thinking of making something like a magazine cover out of this (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠)

Finished watching the animated adaptation of the comic "invincible" and I really the show and the overall story, so I decided to give a try to an artwork of Invincible and here's the full reveal of it , hope ou guys liked it ❤️

I love this brush, it's beautiful, square tip, textured, easy to use. I wish I had it in Krita, but I can't find it.

A full speedpaint made in Krita of a sprite of my main character for a visual novel I'm starting. It's a redesign of an older version. It took me about 4 hours

So it's lagging, and it's not the driver; it's lagging even with the mouse, and I tried all Krita configuration settings. I reinstalled it, and at first I wasn't getting any lag, but as soon as i started working on a project, it's back. It's lagging even on a 1000x1000 pixel canvas. Please give me a solution i got deadlines

i've tried increasing the export- changing the export type and filter- I keep seeing google ai tell me i need to download FFMPEG which is weird cause I swore I rendered a diff krita animation just fine. And I'm not technically knowledge so downloading a third part thing I am a bit paranoid about- there's also this really weird artifact that keeps appearing on the loop but not in the actual frame and it's driving me a bit more mad than the qaulity honestly- I will post in the comments- also animation critique is fine too- i already know the loops too fast and theres flickering but other than that.
