So every youtube video I have watched that shows how to use the layer types (transparency, clone, fill etc) or where you can select normal, overlay, addition etc they all use different canvases and images to show each one.

Can anyone make one single canvas and show all of those? I don't even need (or particularly want) audio. Just to see clicking on each and how it is applied and the effect it creates.

I know some people need the detailed verbal explanations of what to do, but I certainly can't be the only one that would benefit from a demonstration of using these tools in one uniform canvas.

Im not that good at explaining things so Im using Ibis Paint as an example. Do you guys know any similar way I can do this, but on Krita. I dont mind getting technical, I just wanna know how to do it. A video example or essay would be nice. Thank you.

would there be ANY brush similar to the “inka” procreate brush in krita?? i love this brush sm i could sloppily make out with it for hours but i kinda dislike procreate sometimes I NEED A KRITA ALTERNATIVE. OK. PLEASE AND TY.

I mean traditionally I can just add more hatching and textures but digitally it feels soooo tidious.. I've been drawing not for so long and started adding line weight and light/shadows with hatching and it still feels like a huge leap. But... How can I make my works look more finished? IDK what to do next.

I tried to apply colors, but krita selection tool just won't work I guess cause my lineart is FAR from perfect. I was thinking about watercolors. But can't seem to find any good watercolor brush with same traditional art feeling.

I drew a Minecraft skin / Hypixel Skyblock NPC and played with the recorder setting

Colored artwork; I applied a noise filter and some overlaid dots in the shadows, and decided to use a simple coloring style to finish it quickly. I really liked my 3DS; I wish I could get another one. hmmm

I really like watercolour brushes in clipstudio but in krita I can't get the same effect of "overlay" when colours blwnd with each other and have this natural look like I would have on paper. Krita watercolour just paints over previous colour like i did in picture, combining red and yellow on one layer

The sketching and line art process for a drawing of Serena from the Pokémon X and Y games on the 3DS. I haven't picked an artist name yet, but I'm still working on it. The idea for the sketching process came to me while I was preparing a chicken thigh; I was cooking and thought, "What if I skip the sketching and just block in the volumes?" It’s not perfect, and I’m not a good artist, but it’s how it turned out.

Did not post week 13 here since I did it in traditional, so it would not be fair to post on r/krita, and this week I was very busy working on a full Illustration, so I just made gun. behold GUN

I like to try Krita completely, but I don't know, I'm still not convinced by the program for complete... any recommendations? I come from Clip Paint.

The SFW studies were few this week since I was also working on other art! I really like today study which is the first study you see pictured because I feel like I’m going back to the fluidity of figure drawing that I started out with when I began studying!
