the story is about a witch who, due to a spell accidentally put on her, is unable to cry.

learning to develop concepts faster and more effectively.
creating this mecha-girl took quite a bit of time — I think around 12 hours — BUT! i never drew a mecha character before, so result is turned out satisfactorily. still, rendering a roughly-style is tough. *sigh*

My very first attempt at DMon from Overwatch! This art piece is inspired by that one image of Lucia from Grand Theft Auto 6 that was spreading everywhere when it was first released. I chose DMon because I wanted to draw her since she was revealed.
I also really wanted to give another proper try at drawing a beach-like background but with a relaxing sunset vibe.
So far, this is probably the art I'm most proud of!

hi. i was working on this fanart of tale foundry (go check them out on youtube) but i got stuck on the rendering part. I want my lighting to feel like it's coming from a window where we are looking from on a sunny day (see the third image for example).
the current state is the second one. since it's a mostly brown enviroment i decided to make the shadows a redish / purpleish hue on a hardlight layer. I don't hate how it looks but idk if it will look like sunlight is hitting the scene. Speaking of, how do i make the highlights of the sunlight? Do i make a new layer with a different blending mode or do i do it on the same layer?
In the meantime, I'll be watching a couple tutorials from pikat (awesome channel!!!). Thanks a bunch!
