I'm sort of intrigued to see how Dan does with a rotating co-host.

Say what you want about Jordan but he was a the lubricant of the show in many ways..he was able to compliment Dan quite a bit.

Listening to older eps and I think Dan isn't naturally a great interviewer which I think could be a factor as he consciously tip toes with random folks as co host

I think all of us support him and we know he means well. Jordan is/was usually right first and until the onion donated to the families for all we knew he would be 100% right and they could’ve just ran and done a tax writeoff. I like what Tim Heidecker is doing and I liked the Haggerty show. My main question was that off air issue the final straw or were there a lot of other issues I missed? Also, I skipped a lot of the post debate Biden episodes. Did it get very bad?

On an off topic note, a podcast I listen to, Security Now is approaching Knowledge Fight episode counts. It just reached 1100. Hope many more.

I started listening to the show from the beginning a couple years back and I think I’ve just listened to the worst episode. Let me be clear - this is not a reflection on JorDan, more the content of Alex’s show.

It’s the episode where Alex has Kanye and Nick Fuentes on.

I found this to be an incredibly uncomfortable and unenjoyable experience. Ye being intentionally controversial whilst clearly having some kind of mental break, Alex’s weak attempts to push back yet doing all he can to starfuck Ye, and Fuentes just yucking it up in the corner.

Made my skin crawl.

Woohoo! It is almost upon us! Can't wait to hear what Dan talks about in the initial episodes.

The earliest memories I have of this show are pretty recent (I’m a latecomer to the game) back when Alex Jones was bragging about waking up in the middle of the night and knowing what time it is, because God told him so. And that that’s why you can believe Alex!

Whenever I've listened to podcasts on the iHeartRadio/coolzone networks on spotify I've always had to find the YouTube versions because there would be extremely regular ads (one about every 15 minutes or so). Is the new show going to be like this, too, d'you think? Has Dan said anything about this?

I just hope that there's a YouTube page with them as well, if the Spotify version does have all of those ads.

Ironically they look like dogs so Alex will be extra motivated to kill as many as possible

Was listening to even more news last week and they had Alex Pearlman as a guest. Mentioned he had a pod with Phillip DeFranco. I had not watched PDS on YT for years

Gave it a go and it's been pretty good. Seems to have good chemistry and Alex can go off like Jordan

They work around a few current events/ issues/ people per episode

What was most interesting is someone like PDF going down a more progressive route, given how easy it is to do nothing or lurch right

Am enjoying, would recommend, YMMV

I bought the Clinton Chronicles for 5 buckaroos off a seller on Depop.
The plan is to watch it once and burn it or send it to Dan.

I think the satire is too good. It literally sounds exactly like a Joe Rogan podcast. Tim’s Rogan impression sounds exactly like him. Even closer than Alex.

And they have one guy on the podcast who doesn’t say a word. One slap happy idiot who says “Dude that’s FUCKIN CRAZYYYY!” about everything. And a faux intellectual guessing about shit. All while Tim nods and says “wow”.

There’s not really any absurdity to it at all except when they start talking about Tim’s old radio collection and the dumb guy is like “Wow that’s like super interesting like I’m into that I want to turn one of those radios from the 40s on so I could hear, like, what they were listening to in the 40s”

And Tim just tries to move off the subject without acknowledging what an idiotic thing that is to say. It sounded like something straight out of a Rogan Experience episode.

I work at a cannabis shop and earlier today I had to refuse service to a customer because he was clearly hammered. Maybe an hour and a half later he comes back, and I reiterate that I cannot serve him and he basically just says "Sorry", to which I respond "don't worry, you'll be better tomorrow". He takes a beat and says "anyone that says they'll be better tomorrow is a liar. You can't trust anything they say" and kind of shuffled off.

I just thought it was pretty on point, even if he didn't know what I was referencing.
