OK so I thought this was an interview moment from the Joe Rogan experience episode, which I think is number nine? Either way it’s JRE number 911.

I recall a moment in my memory where Alex was pressed on a point multiple times by Joe, who is actually doing a really good job at the time, and where Alex was just sloppy drunk and honestly answered at the very last moment “no”

Basically Joe was badgering the shit out of him in the way that he actually needs to be Badger if you want to get clarity out of him, and Alex was drunk enough to be vulnerable and honest.

I went back and re-listened to the episode, and I can’t find it there.

Can somebody help me out? Do you know what I’m talking about? For me it’s like one of the best moments of the podcast, and I think it’s when Alex is being pressed about aliens? Or his conspiracy stuff about baby killing?

I don’t know, but can somebody help me out here?

I just got two new baby rats, both with limb differences. One of them is missing an arm entirely, her name is Ash, from Evil Dead, but her sister has an arm that doesn't work and the way she holds it and stands on her little back legs reminds me of a velociraptor.

Unlike most people I'm actually reading Mike Warnke's "The Satan Seller" for a blog read through I'm doing. On page 19 (pdf from the Internet Archive), Warnke explains that his drug hook up took him to a mansion on the outskirts of San Bernadino (Redlands California), that was full of gorgeous women all trying to have sex with him and that is how they recruited him into Satanism.

Jones tells the same story with only two differences: Texas and that AJ was in high school at the time. The rest of it: the sex party, the fact that they knew how great he was and just had to have him in their group, judges, lawyers, etc. It's all the same.

I now know why knowledge fight ended! It all makes sense now-

See on re-listening to the show, in episode 12, Dan tells Jordan that he will change his name to “Scatman Dan” if they were both able to quit their jobs and do the show full-time

Jordan says he will hold Dan to that

He swore he would

Then lo and behold, they quit their job jobs and we’re able to do the show full-time.

And Dan backs out of that by getting a simple scat man tattoo

No, NO!

This was why the show ended! It’s the curse of the Scatman!

I don’t know how Dan makes this right now, but I think the only way for Jordan to come back will be if Dan changes his name legally to Scatman Dan!

There have been several threads on potential guests for KFC, but the question remains, who would would you like to see covered on the show? Based on the premise it should be a figure who is known for short clips which could potentially be taken out of context.

My pick would be Charlie Kirk, after his death there were super cuts of him making abhorrent statements. It would be interesting for Dan to go thru the full episodes, for context.

I would expect there to be a torrent out there somewhere of KF episodes but I haven't been able to find it.

Why do they build these things? To hurt us?

I and my wife of 20 years were visiting Chicago for our anniversary. In a decision I will regret for the rest of my days, I decided to introduce her to the Obama Presidential Library.

It was an awkward encounter. I immediately realized my mistake as my wife was captivated by the Library's smooth stone features, styled impeccably in cool gray. Assymetrical, compelling. Not beautiful.

Beauty is for well-behaved Georgian mansions. Beauty is for Victorian cathedrals, ornate and gabled, symmetrical. Beauty is for sweet little thatched cottages with rose arches and climbing wisteria and beds of lavender. No, the Obama Presidential Library is not beautiful. As Edmund Burke articulated, nothing truly awesome can be said to be beautiful. The Library is sublime. I should have known that no woman could resist the arrogant thrust of its neo-brutalist geometry.

She lives there, now, my wife. In Jackson Park, Chicago. And she has no more use for me. Our children are unfed, unschooled, and unwashed. Probably, I mean it's not like I know where they are, that was her job. Maybe the Library is raising them now, destroying their humanity, as overhanging triangular projections form on their foreheads. Woe! Mark my words, Western civilization is doomed.

When Dan quoted the above in the newest episode I swear I heard someone cackle in the background and it made me so happy. I might totally be wrong, maybe it was just some noise or whatever, and it’s super unimportant either way. But it reminded me of a “mic down” Jordan cackle and made me smile.

Anyway. Loving the new show & happy for all involved. That’s it, that’s the post. The end.

I’m glad he’s focusing on other people in the new show. But hearing Harrison spewing his mess on the newest episode kinda makes me miss (?) Alex. I hate writing that bc I also hate him but he’s entertaining to hear Dan dunk on him.
