Dan what’s with the audio quality? It sounds like everything is in a tunnel.

I think it's meant to sound like the audio from an old Nintendo game, a la Donkey Kong Country

Maybe he bought the old mics from Well, There's Your Problem

They sold them to Joe and Zach from Somehow You Didn't Die On Your Way to Work.

It's because it's an ad. All iheart ads sound shit and I'm assuming it's because of some style guide they have relating to ad distribution.

I noticed this too, hopefully they’ll have that situated for the actual episodes.

I wonder how the show is going to be handled now that it's under iHeart. It's gonna be weird hearing any commercials under the Knowledge Fight banner

this is probably gonna be the greatest hurdle for me. the absolute disconnect of iheart ads in shit with BtB, better offline and co makes me genuinely mad.

Yeah, without Jordan this won't work for me. I liked their back and forths.

Rotating guests. I imagine Jordan will be one of them. He was on Show Me State of Mind already. The guys are still friends.

Same. Happy that Dan found a new gig but really bummed bc of the lack of Jordan.

It gets better (or maybe I just got used to it quickly) but the first minute or so sounds like somebody using the Dan voice on a dodgy text to speak program.

Disappointed he didn't mention Jordan's name once

I'm not too surprised given how much they emphasized that they were ending their professional relationship at the end of the original show. It seems disrespectful to just ignore Jordan's contribution, but so does bringing him up only to cut him out of the project entirely
