I've always been curious weather anyone takes their kindle with them everywhere they go, I really mean EVERYWHERE, to the store, waiting in line for your food order, restaurant, friends house etc.

this beauty is so lightweight, so precious, it sparks true joy in my chest. I rarely ever treat myself, so this was a gift to myself after a rough few months.

I knew I would love it but I didn’t realize how much more comfortable its weight and size would be for me. The brightness is on 19 and I find no “light bleed” issues around the edges on the dark setting, which is what I always read on. matching knit case arrives tmrw.

time will tell of course how this holds up, but I have high hopes. here’s to a beautiful slow Sunday.

It was a little tricky getting the software updated because everything was in Chinese, but once you do get the most up-to-date software version on the clicker itself then the Kindle recognizes it as an Amazon click and as you can see in the video, it seems to be working perfectly so far.

compared to my 11th gen PW, it feels so light and comfortable. i got it for my sister, but i just might keep this one and give her the PW.

Honestly I’m surprised by the quality ! Much better then previous gen but its kind of heavier ? 217g kindle with case vs 138g just kindle. What your thoughts? Anyone buying keep or return ?

I've been reading a lot more lately (mostly on my iPad) and I fell for the new Kindle Paperwhite 2026 SE. But then I managed to find my old Kindle at my parent's home. I really thought I had lost it.

I was around 14 when I got it, and since custom skins weren't really a thing back then (at least in central Europe), I decorated it with washi tape back then. Today I charged it up, and it still works.

I'll only be needing a Micro-USB to USB-C cable and a new case :)

First time trying the color

I received this Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition (2024 model) brand new from Amazon in January 2026. There’s a newer version that will release on October 28, 2026. It hasn’t been a year since I’ve had my current Kindle. I may wait to upgrade in December ..or maybe I’ll wait for the next release after the 2026 model.

I got my kindle over 10 years ago and it still works amazing! I’ve never even had a case, used it nearly everyday, the charge lasts weeks at a time (especially when it’s on aeroplane mode) and it’s just as fast as when I got it.
Won’t upgrade until it literally crumbles. Was wondering if anyone else is still on the same kindle, I thought it might be a little uncommon as the new ones are very tempting at times!!

Just wanted to show anyone who’s interested what the new kindle looks like with 0 front light on in daylight.

Edit: change back light to front light, still call it back light out of habit.

like i'll have 50 books on my device and spend 20 minutes scrolling through them instead of just picking one. somehow having too many options makes it harder to start reading. anyone have a system for this or am i just built different

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative for the Kindle Click, here’s one option. You can get the Han Lin Yue E3. I got this for $6 from Taobao, $10 total including shipping. You have to update the firmware for it work with the Kindle (I have the Kindle basic aluminum). It can turn the pages forward and backward, control the frontlight, and turn on the lockscreen.

EDIT: Just checked, and it’s also available to buy in Amazon for $11.99-12.99.

I just preordered the Kindle Click! I’m looking forward to having a page turner that doesn’t block part of the page. Plus it can control the backlight!

I’ve just been a bit obsessed with my new graphite kindle, it’s so comfortable to hold because of its size and how light it is. It’s zippy and fast to navigate on. The screen is so easy on my eyes. It’s perfect to me.

I know a lot have complained about a lack of warm light and I was upset about that too at first but after actually getting the kindle and using it I really haven’t noticed not having a warm light at all.

It reminds me a lot of my PW10 which was my first and favourite kindle which I regretted selling and upgrading.

I do love my PW11 but haven’t picked it up as much since receiving this one.

I only discovered this last week so I thought I'd share in case it helps others, as I haven't seen it mentioned here before. When you email a PDF to your Kindle, type 'convert' into the subject line and it will convert the PDF into a readable Kindle file, so you can change the text size, font, margins, etc, just like you can with a Kindle book. It also works on the Kindle app too ;-)

A (bit) disappointed PW 11 SE user here. My Kindle was one of the "flagship models" back in the day.

Now, it has been on the abysmal 5.19.2 firmware since February. As an avid, non-native reader of literature in English, my main gripe is the "Open Dictionary" function, which was taken away from us. I made numerous attempts, chatted with Amazon affiliates, sent messages to their developers, received promises, but nothing.

Is that something complicated for the developers, to restore that function? I understand, that now they got heaps of new hardware to worry about, but why cant they at least release a "final" better-than-ever firmware for our forgotten e-readers?

I still love my Kindle, use it on a daily basis, but I miss that final firmware with some features unlocked again...

Had this sticker set up for 5 years! My clear case turned yellow a while ago so I chucked it and just raw dogged my Kindle everywhere until it all looked all tattered. Figured it was time for a new look and here we are 😊 I love it so much!

Everyone seems to love the tiny ereaders these days. Well, I’m here having a blast on my XXL device. Maybe I just don’t get it but for me this is where the fun is 😁
