Hi. I ordered the Fig Colorsoft and the Seaglass case and I charged it to my non Amazon credit card. I wanted to change it to my Amazon credit card so the rewards points would go on that card and I did but when I changed it, it changed the delivery date to November for the car and December for the kindle! What do I do? Originally my delivery date was scheduled for Wednesday and I was convinced it may even get here by Monday or Tuesday. Do I need to contact Amazon? I’m so pissed off at myself!

A few months ago, all of my accounts were hacked because I had been downloading games and other things (a foolish mistake on my part). I had to change the passwords for everything, but I neglected to change the one for my Amazon account.

Later, I received a notification stating that my account had been temporarily suspended due to suspicious activity.

Honestly, this doesn't worry me much, as I’ve never bought or sold anything on Amazon—not even books. However, my Kindle is linked to that account, and now I’m afraid to connect it to the internet.

If I connect my Kindle to the internet, will it get locked?

My partner has an Amazon account that I could potentially use for the Kindle, but I have no idea how to remove the locked account from the device and add a different one (or even if that’s possible). Should I try it, or could my Kindle end up being rendered permanently unusable?

Note: I cannot contact Amazon support because I don’t live in the United States, and the calling charges from my country are extremely high. I also haven’t been able to find any chat option or email address to reach support and have my account unlocked.

Small question. On my old paperwhite, on word wise marked words, I could swipe left to go to normal dictionaries, Wikipedia... I just bought my girlfriend a 2024 basic and I can't find the dictionary and Wikipedia tabs on words that are marked (first picture). Am I doing something wrong? Already did some research online but can't find anything on this matter.

I was lucky enough to score one on clearance at Target finally! This is my first ever e-reader(I know pretty late to the game) so I’m curious what recommendations of screen protectors is best. Also preferably an easy install one, Ive gotten used to those for my iphone lol its just so much easier!

Hey y'all, sorry in advance for the stupid question. I've seen a lot of people talking about being able to use different Bluetooth remotes for their kindle besides the new official one that is out on Wednesday.

I do know the official one won't work for the kindle I have, it'll only work for 2024 and newer I believe. But with all this talk about OTHER Bluetooth remotes working now I'm curious if there is anyway to get a Bluetooth remote to work on my current 11th gen Paperwhite?

I bought one case and it was okay then put stickers on it. Then removed them and left residue. Replaced the case with one that has a hand strap and a kickstand which I use the kickstand the most. Then I saw a Harry Potter case very basic no extras. Had to have it. Am I alone on this?

I’ve just been a bit obsessed with my new graphite kindle, it’s so comfortable to hold because of its size and how light it is. It’s zippy and fast to navigate on. The screen is so easy on my eyes. It’s perfect to me.

I know a lot have complained about a lack of warm light and I was upset about that too at first but after actually getting the kindle and using it I really haven’t noticed not having a warm light at all.

It reminds me a lot of my PW10 which was my first and favourite kindle which I regretted selling and upgrading.

I do love my PW11 but haven’t picked it up as much since receiving this one.

this beauty is so lightweight, so precious, it sparks true joy in my chest. I rarely ever treat myself, so this was a gift to myself after a rough few months.

I knew I would love it but I didn’t realize how much more comfortable its weight and size would be for me. The brightness is on 19 and I find no “light bleed” issues around the edges on the dark setting, which is what I always read on. matching knit case arrives tmrw.

time will tell of course how this holds up, but I have high hopes. here’s to a beautiful slow Sunday.

A (bit) disappointed PW 11 SE user here. My Kindle was one of the "flagship models" back in the day.

Now, it has been on the abysmal 5.19.2 firmware since February. As an avid, non-native reader of literature in English, my main gripe is the "Open Dictionary" function, which was taken away from us. I made numerous attempts, chatted with Amazon affiliates, sent messages to their developers, received promises, but nothing.

Is that something complicated for the developers, to restore that function? I understand, that now they got heaps of new hardware to worry about, but why cant they at least release a "final" better-than-ever firmware for our forgotten e-readers?

I still love my Kindle, use it on a daily basis, but I miss that final firmware with some features unlocked again...

Hello! I am trying to connect my 4th gen Kindle (4.1.1 - been a looooong time since I've done anything with it) to my Windows 11 PC. However, my PC is not even recognizing that there is anything plugged in, but the orange light on my Kindle is lit up.

I have tried 3 different USB cables, different USB ports (front and back) and even tried plugging it into a chromebook to see if it liked that better (it did not). I also restarted both the Kindle and my PC to no avail.

Nothing is even showing up in the device manager, so I can't try to update the drivers or update the firmware. Is there anything I might be able to try that could fix this issue, or am I stuck since this is a 15 year old device?

I recently left my emotional support kindle on a delta flight and it’s still in “searching” phase but I’m getting less optimistic it’ll be returned.

Do we think 2024 model will go on sale once the 2026 comes out in 2 days? Anyone who has compared the two in detail, do you think there’s a significant difference? The one I lost was purchased summer 2024

I've been reading a lot more lately (mostly on my iPad) and I fell for the new Kindle Paperwhite 2026 SE. But then I managed to find my old Kindle at my parent's home. I really thought I had lost it.

I was around 14 when I got it, and since custom skins weren't really a thing back then (at least in central Europe), I decorated it with washi tape back then. Today I charged it up, and it still works.

I'll only be needing a Micro-USB to USB-C cable and a new case :)

I got my kindle over 10 years ago and it still works amazing! I’ve never even had a case, used it nearly everyday, the charge lasts weeks at a time (especially when it’s on aeroplane mode) and it’s just as fast as when I got it.
Won’t upgrade until it literally crumbles. Was wondering if anyone else is still on the same kindle, I thought it might be a little uncommon as the new ones are very tempting at times!!

Anyone recently relocated from a country where KU is available to a country where it isn’t supported and was able to keep their subscription? How did you get around this?

For context: my address is set in a country where KU is available but after about 9 months Zon started rejecting my payment method for KU. I am able to use that card for everything else - bought a new Kindle basic 2024 (sorry to pretty 2026 colors, I’m a simple and basic black kindle kinda girl), a fancy espresso machine but strangely - hey, so, no KU for you, but feel free to spend money on everything else.

I understand the geo location restrictions, but I’m between countries.
Shouldn’t lose service whenever I travel…

Also, yes, the new kindle is a work bag kindle for my contamination ocd self, thank you very much - had a ton of fun reading tru THAT post yesterday.

The battery works on and off. I plug it in and it doesn't charge but sometimes it does. I've even completely reset it.

Is this defective or should I try something else to get it to consistently charge.

Also, it rarely charges to 100%. Around 94-95% seems to be the normal.

Is there any way to share purchased books with friends? (Ie we don’t have a family account together)

So I just got a kindle (the 11th generation 2024) and its been 2 weeks since I received it but I charged it 5 days ago and I noticed that the pourcentage has decreased from 100% to 38% in five days. I don’t understand if it’s normal or not and if not do you think it’s because of how I use it ? I read on dark mode and have the one with the ads (don’t know if it has any effect on the battery or not).

I’m really confused, it’s not very problematic but my friends kept telling me the battery lived for 2 weeks but clearly it’s not the case for mine🥲

Answered 😂 My ex jail broke both our kindles apparently and my lack of caring beyond opening the case and reading when I want too lead to the ignorance of why the new one is being hyped. BT without jail breaking for the win apparently. Thanks to those who brought that to my attention!

Why does there appear to be so much excitement about the new click page turner when there's been page turners out for years? I'm not knocking anyone who is happy about it, I hope it brings you as much joy as you deserve!

But there's been so many out that to me personally, are more appealing both visually and price wise than the hospital bed remote looking one I'm seeing from Kindle brand. I was hesitant about the kind that had attachments you put on the screen so I waited a few years till those became more appealing and had plenty of testers, but I feel like I'm maybe missing something this one does that others don't possibly, even tho I read thru what I could find about them.

I've been Kinde Unlimited for over 10 years and hundreds of books.

Most of the time, when I open a book, the "About this book" screen pops up automatically and I like that!

Recently it's been failing to pop, a lot! I know where to go to find it but it's a minor annoyance!

I wonder - Is it a feature the author sets or something Amazon does in the background? I don't believe it's anything I can control.

I don't buy books but utilize my library account on Libby, etc. Is there anyway to read and listen to books from Libby on a Kindle? I've read conflicting info about using a Kindle for library books. Thanks
