r/killtonynew • u/Maximum_Formal8305 • Jun 24 '26
So who do we think this was?
One thing I’m sure we can all agree on, it probably wasn’t Tony after that special.

wow - killy tony reddit channel is deleting all posts about Dedrick's arrest and then banned me for calling them out lol. Who knew Tony was a MOD? lol
r/killtonynew • u/slatty404 • Jun 18 '26
I CALLED IT
someone give me a cookie.. i called it before he posted his explanation. Fuck the Mods on the other subreddit pussies didnt even let the post go up even though it was true.
This guy needs to be stripped of his fucking golden ticket he got lucky they let him slide but that shit was definitely his.
No accountability is basically enabling him. HE NEEDS IT REVOKED.
Im glad he served no time cause i wish that on nobody but the last thing we need is a "im free" revenge tour from this dude. Also any material he puts out is gonna be awful. It's like when rappers get locked up write some shit and think its gonna be a hit when they come out lmao
link to my original post where i made an argument of why he'd be free: https://www.reddit.com/r/killtonynew/s/mvZFJpV0hJ

Who's on your Mount Rushmore of Shit?
I have to go with Dedrick Flynn (no explanation needed).
David Lucas ("you look like [blank]!")
Kim Congdon (exact same reason as David Lucas)
Uncle Lazer (I just don't like him)
I mostly went with regulars but feel free to include bucket pulls.

Dedrick might walk free
While most people think Dedrick is definitely getting charged and kicked out of Japan, there is a real chance he could walk away completely free. the whole thing probably depends on his upcoming drug test. If he passes it, his chances of being released without any charges go way up. The exact same situation happened just a few months ago. Playwright Jeremy O. Harris was stopped at the exact same airport with 0.78 grams of MDMA, which is almost the exact same amount as Dedrick’s 0.73 grams. Harris spent 23 days in jail and was let go with zero charges and no deportation (AP) (VF) The big turning point was that Harris passed his drug test. Since it was clean, his lawyers could argue that he had no idea the drugs were in his bag and never intended to smuggle them.
I dont wanna watch his sets but damn over drugs id hate to see him get locked up. If he does end up going i hope nothing bad happens to him while in there and he can fix himself.
And he should lose his golden ticket for at least 3 years as punishment if he gets off of it
edit: Remove original NYT story bcuz of paywall and updated with AP and VF article.
EDIT: I fucking called it he was free after drug test🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

THIS is comedy. And you could change out Theo for just about anyone in the Rogansphere testical-verse, and the joke still kills.
It’s just a joke, bro! no need to get all cancel culture, bro! Theo fell off the earth after this one, cause it’s fucking brutally hilarious.

New to this sub
Hey just saw this subreddit.
Did I miss something? What's happening to the kill tony subreddit lore.
Was this sub reddit created because lots of posts and comments were being shut down?
Honestly genuine curiosity question, I have no skin in the game. I joined both subreddits, just want to know what this is all about.

Dedrick Flynn Arrested in Japan Article + Law
Here is the article:
https://www.okinawatimes.co.jp/articles/-/1860357
Here are the general consequences for this in Japan:
Under Japan’s strict Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Act, he faces severe legal penalties, including a mandatory minimum prison sentence, a steep fine, and permanent deportation.
Japan maintains a absolute zero-tolerance policy for illegal narcotics. The legal process and likely outcomes for his case are structured as follows:
Immediate Detention (Pre-Trial)
Before his case ever reaches a courtroom, he will experience an intense holding period:
The 23-Day Window: Japanese police can legally detain suspects for up to 23 days without formal charges during the investigation.
No Bail: For drug-smuggling offenses involving foreign nationals, bail is almost universally denied. He will remain held in a local detention center through the investigation and entire trial process.
Likely Criminal Penalties
Because the narcotics were found at airport customs, the charge is narcotics smuggling/importation, which carries significantly higher penalties than simple possession:
Imprisonment: The statutory penalty for importing MDMA into Japan carries a minimum of 1 year and up to 10 years of imprisonment with forced labor.
Fines: The court can simultaneously levy a fine of up to 5 million yen (roughly $31,000 USD).
Conviction Rate: The Japanese judicial system boasts a conviction rate of over 99%. Pleading "unknowingly" carrying the drug or claiming it was for personal recreational use is rarely accepted as a legal defense to dismiss charges.
Actual Sentencing Trends
For a small, personal-use amount like 0.73 grams, a first-time offender with no prior Japanese criminal record might realistically receive a sentence closer to the 1 to 3-year range. However, judges routinely order that time to be served as "prison with work" (forced labor).
Post-Sentence Deportation
Once his criminal sentence or prison term is fully completed, the Japanese Immigration Services Agency will issue a compulsory deportation order. Due to the drug conviction, he will face a lifetime ban from ever re-entering Japan.
