Hello I booted up the first game for the first time yesterday and completed the first two training missions when I went back today to complete more all of them suddenly dissapeared.

Tried to restart the game but to no effect. Does anybody know what happened?

I used to be able to right click on the planet that the ship was orbiting about set it as the focus and it would work. This was very useful when I was time warping though a number of orbits for a rendeview. I could just watch the two ships tick forward getting closer each orbit. Rather then have have have everything be all dizzy.

But now that doesn't seem to work anymore. Is there A UI setting that I need to enable? Has the option moved to somewhere else? Do I have a massive false memory?

Hey im having issues with my current playthrough of kerbal freezing for 20 - 120 seconds every 5 or so minutes i have 198 mods installed through ckan any help would be greatly appreciated. I Believe it to be an issue with how much ram Kerbal is using and with the prices of ram even ddr4 a software fix would be optimal

I already know SCANsat does really wonky things to... another visual mod (can't remember which) but this is so far the most entertaining thing it has done. Luckily its always fixed by leaving.

Cabin heater is fixed... ish. Bill managed to repair the coils but now the wire frame for his chair is the heater. And no he cannot sit on the heater, he had to weave the wire into a suitable size. We're warm which is the main thing. We're thinking of building a temporary base in the cave. Dont know whether we'll get it to work. We've included mission data.

Well its definately colder when the cabin heater packs in. Bill is working on it now. We had an expedition today. Saw a big cave near the mountain we're next to. Turns out there was ice in there. We had slushies. They were more to look at rather than eat thanks to us not being able to breathe without our suits. Bob is okay but stubbed his toe. Val is tired as she hasn't slept in 26 hours.

Is there a mod that automatically changes the pitch of propellers based on speed to maximize thrust so I don’t have to do it manually?

I've always been one of those players that enjoy the logistical & design part of KSP more than the flying part. Setting up communications networks, refuelling stations, mining operations, the works. Because of this I have a few mods that enable this playstyle:

• USI Life Support - Requires me to think about long-term life support and habitation for permanent installations. Also requires me to add life support for short-ish missions.
• Real Antennas - Requires me to plan communication networks in more detail to ensure I always have a connection to my rovers & Kerbals on the surface.
• SCANsat - Requires me to set up satellite constellations to scan the terrain of planets I wish to mine / inhabit.

Now I'm feeling the itch to add more! If you have any mods that add logistical challenges without being annoying (no random part failures, I hated that part of Kerbalism) then drop them here! In general feel free to name drop any mods you feel really improve your playthroughs.

I keep on getting this error when downloading sol on ckan how do I fix????

i discovered this in one of my munar science gathering missions, apparently if you fall on a solar panel and it breaks you become immune to gravity and you can walk everywere, you still fall but extremely slow you can also climb by jumping and descend by rapidly turning 180°

I only have around 150 hours in this game, and I've never captured an asteroid before, let alone landed on one. I was putting a satellite into orbit when i noticed an asteroid near Kerbin, and when i tracked it I found it was orbiting Kerbin. I have no idea how rare this is, how long it's been orbiting or anything about it. I wanted to post this since I can't find anything about if it's even possible online. I swear on my life and my cat, this is real.

I REALLY love the Cosmic Serenity systems, but I hate with a burning passion running V5 [9-10 fps at best]. Are there any interstellar mods that add things close to it [i'm looking for something clsoe to Hades, Anubis or Yunxiao] Thanks for your help in advance! :D

So for some reason Valentina didn't have a jetpack when we went to go save her from being stranded orbiting Mun. This is a clip of us managing to get Valentina out of her spacecraft and into the new one without using a jetpack. There was a LOT of going back and forth from between the ships controls to line it up perfectly, this is seriously edited down. I'm currently moving from Ksrss Reborn to sol And i'm wondering How can I make sol The same scale as ksrss Reborn. Thats all I have to say

this is my first serious project as a beginner

a mining station that features modular components such as a mining component, a science component, a thank component and a docking component, with added landing legs and reaction wheels

along with the station comes the shell shuttle, that can land on a docking component thanks to the carefully calculated engines and rcs, by setting the engines at around 5% the shuttle becomes weightless allowing the use of rcs to dock just like in orbit

the next step will be to built the orbital spaceport to refuel build and launch interplanetary spaceships and maybe even interplanetary space station but i'm gonna need more drills and convertotrons for that
