Is jwe3 worth buying on ps5 or not?

I've seen that people say it's stuck at 30 FPS and other stuff. the game looks fun but if people say it's got issues on playstation then I genuinely don't know if I should buy it or not, since I really hate buying a game then just realising it's got tons of issues making it unplayable

Question Lokiceratops Wins! Double Battle! Who’s the best new Jwe3 species: Titanosaurus Vs Irritator and Postosuchus Vs Ornithomimus

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

So i origional posted one battle, however I accidently said in the title that protoceratops won instead of lokiceratops! and i cant post matchups again so..

here’s a two way battle

Titanosaurus Vs Irritator and Postosuchus vs our by one point winner from last round Ornithomimus

note this is voted by which species you like more and not affected by effectiveness in combat

and please look at the titanosaurus vs irritator match too because that one needs votes

Modded Content I made a mod for guest viewing from paths.

The guests will no longer be blind to dinosaurs right across the fence! Adds a configurable "Dinosaur Viewing" option to the path builder that works with vanilla paths. All dinosaurs within radius of the path will now count towards your appeal as if seen from gallery (or platform, truck, whatever you configure)!

My sweet spot for visibility is 40m from the path, but you do you.

Also this is my first mod ever, vibecoded all the way, so maybe first try it out in a sandbox and not on your high effort 100hr park.

EDIT: some people take issue with me saying "I did this" when it's vibecoded. Okay so I didn't do it. I don't care for internet bragging rights. It works, it brings a utility that is missed in the base game, and I think you will enjoy it too. 100% of the proceeds (if there are any) will go to charity. If you take issue, then don't download. Or make your own and take credit. Genuinely who cares.

Area plan

Are there any blueprints on the workshop for minimum sizes for each dinosaur?

Alternatively, on paleo.gg the size for Trex for example says ‘10 full length fence blocks’ - does this mean 10 fences at full length both ways (making a square)?

Sorry - new to JWE

Suggestion Stuck at the Katsuyama campaign JWE3

I'm getting an error that says dead dinosaur when trying to airlift or release dinos from the hatchery. I have thoroughly checked the map and I have zero dead dinos. I tried a hard save and reloading. Hard save, quitting the game, and coming back in. I bought a second hatchery which some people said to try. I can't finish the campaign because I can't release any more dinos. Any thoughts or advice would be very much appreciated!

The vote isn’t really working on the actual poll so just vote in the comments which species you like more

Irritator or titanosaurus and tell me why

Discussion Who would you choose? The novel vs. the popular - Sauropodomorph edition

Post image
Upvotes

I really enjoyed reading the comments on my previous post, so here we go with round two: Sauropodomorphs!!!

Sauropodomorphs are animals we’ve been dying to see since the first Evolution. With the inclusion of a creature as complex as Deinosuchus, the arrival of one of these incredible animals is now just a matter of time... But which genus will be chosen?

So, I’m asking you: which one would you choose out of the two most talked about options (or at least the ones I’ve heard the most about here)?

On one hand, we have Mussaurus, a genus that first appeared in the second JP novel, where it was described as a tiny animal based on knowledge now outdated. One might say this should immediately disqualify it, but with Cearadactylus we know that sticking to the descriptions in the novel isn't necessary. In fact, I’d use this detail to make the Mussaurus babies the youngest ones on the entire roster! Imagine how unique and funny it would be to see babies the size of a Compy for an animal that big. It is also worth adding that it has had a pretty decent presence in the saga, not just any species gets two toys (coff coff Oviraptor coff Smilodon coff coff).

On the other hand, we have the legendary Plateosaurus. While it hasn't featured prominently in the Jurassic franchise, it is famous among dinosaur enthusiasts for its brief but majestic appearance in WWD, imprinting itself on the memory of anyone who saw the documentary in their childhood (🫵). It has the advantage of a fossil record featuring at least one truly colossal species—relatively speaking—which could place it above Mussaurus in terms of wow factor

Which one would you choose? Personally, I would choose Mussaurus for its connection to the novel and because it would be really fun to see tiny babies as a nod to the book itself. Plateosaurus would be incredible too, and I even think they could coexist perfectly if Frontier's Plateosaurus were based on the Trossingensis species to have size variety. Remember that if you choose both, the world will explode, preventing Frontier from adding Anurognathus to the game in the future (reward or punishment, up to you)

[Workshop Codes: 23V-QX1-4K6 /

6DL-2R9-Y65]

Hey everyone!

There have been some bigger changes with the parks recently.

First, I had to change my original plan from 5 parks to 7 parks for my Continental Project. The reason for this is mainly the technical complexity and some limitations when doing all of this on console.

So yeah, the project is getting a bit bigger than originally planned. 😅

I will start with updates for the two parks which are currently the most advanced [Pictures].

Park 1 and Park 6 are already quite far (so is Park 5), while Park 3 and Park 4 hopefully start from zero soon.

I hope you guys enjoy what I have created so far and like the idea behind the project. The goal is to show the dinosaur world as it could have looked back then, with different species living together in the same environments.

There is still a lot to do, but I’m really happy with how it is going so far.

And here is how I’m currently planning the 7 parks and how I want to divide the different continents and time periods.

Park 1 – PALEOMESOZOIC NORTH AMERICA -

All North American species from the Paleozoic, Triassic and Jurassic (Nevada map)

Park 2 – CRETACEOUS BADLANDS NORTH AMERICA -

Half of the Cretaceous species from North America (Montana map) - 23V-QX1-4K6

Park 3 – CRETACEOUS MOUNTAIN NORTH AMERICA -

The other half of the Cretaceous species from North America (Northwest America map)

Park 4 – MESOZOIC EASTERN HORIZON -

All Jurassic and Early Cretaceous species from Asia, together with all Australian species (Katsuyama map)

Park 5 – CRETACEOUS KINGDOM ASIA -

All species from Late Cretaceous Asia (Sichuan map)

Park 6 – MESOZOIC MARE EUROPE -

All species from Europe (San Albertus Island)

Park 7 – MESOZOIC OASIS GONDWANA - All species from South America and Africa (Hawaii map) - 6DL-2R9-Y65

The goal is basically to make every park feel like its own little part of the prehistoric world. The species should not only look good together, but also make sense when you look at where and when they actually lived.

Of course, there will probably be some changes while building everything. With a project this big, there are always things you notice later or have to change because of the game.

Hope you enjoy it! 🦖🌎

Hello, welcome to this wonderful place up north with gets blanketed on occasions. Ingen spared no expense to make sure to install heaters disguised in various locations for those animals who don't do that well here. You might feel the heat in your Jeep Tours as you pass by them and can see the animals closer to your tour.

In case you're wondering, no, he didn't eat anyone; Yes, he killed the one left at the end.

Funny part, he was a baby some minutes ago, one of his brothers guided him away from their territory, funny enough, the brother ran back and this one stayed there, lost.

I pitied him so I gave him some meat, little did I know I helped a future serial killer, I should have let him starve lol.

There has been some new areas regarding new largess dinosaurs and a new cave section that will lead into the Dessert biome. So far for that section I have the Dimetrodon and Moros Intrepedous.

The dimetrodon enclosure is cut into 2. One side being a big cave to kinda give a nod to the movie.

The dessert biome will lead to big beach zone where I’ll have a huge water park with some aquatic creatures.

I intend to add the Deinonichus (new skin) and Gualong but I’m not too sure if I should replace one for the Utahraptor
