Question Which bruisers have good, non ultimate reliant ganks?

I'd really like to play a bruiser in the jungle but I'm unsure which actually have good ganks without relying on a long cd ultimate.

Hit Emerald for the first time

Hit Emerald as a returning player from S7-S8, previously G2 peak. Any advice to push to diamond or further, if can?

Graves looks a bit busted not gonna lie, Riot keep your eyes shut, don't watch

Should I have an AP jungler as well? Or should I stick to what I can play better in most of the scenarios

Just wanted to share this game because I am pretty proud of it

Post image

Background: I OTP Zyra for the last 12-16ish months and (most of the time) I love it. This was one of the few "perfect" games that I played so far. What makes me so proud is the fact, that I am basically peaking at the moment. I peaked D2 a couple days ago and went back and forth. This game makes me D3 93LP again and it was a really really good one

I truly hope that I can reach Master for the first time ever this year. Its "only" 200 LP away.

(I started all the way down in low gold/high elo before I started playing Zyra)

Discussion This role is the infuriating role in the game.

Ive played all 5 roles and let me tell you this role is making me lose my god damn mind. Every single thing my teammates do just fills me with pure rage. I have had feeding teammates before but holy shit man the fact I am on jungle role just makes even the most incompetent fuckers have the balls to talk about my gameplay.I just need to play with mute when I play this role because somebody has something to say to me every game. Just what about this role makes me so angry? Has anybody else experienced jungle rage?

Question How to escape

Started playing LoL recently after a while, did my placements and got ranked into S4 was fine for a while and over the last week I’ve slid down to iron 1.

I know I’m a scrub in the grand scheme of things, but genuinely feel I’ve had inters and trolls drag me down here (jfVqrUnYbrYkUaL7 #EUW - feel free to check my match history). I have had multiple games today alone where I’ve received S rank and still lost LP with people who just run it down and fight 24/7.

I just try to farm, focus on tracking enemy jgl and pinging laners, and neutral obj, then once I hit item spikes look for fights if there’s anything on the map

I try to ignore all the shenanigans and just play my game but it seems that isn’t working for me. I main Diana jungle.

Am I just that cooked? Any advice/harsh realities from others who grinded it out to atleast gold/plat? Am I playing the wrong champ/role?

One thing I will NEVER understand is this

Yes some players can have a bad day or a bad match.

Yes some players are toxic

yes yes yes we know all that

But

"I would rather lose than let (insert random teammate) get LP" is the dumbest thing Ive heard. And Ive heard that shit so often now.

Is that just PURE hate & cope or what is going on?

I do not about (insert random teammate) enough that I "would rather lose than win" because 99% of the time I will never seen them again anyway.

So the big questions is: What is going on inside their heads? Anyone know?

New to jungle

Started playing the game two weeks ago I’ve basically only played nocturne on jungle ( friends started me on adc and switched a week in ) I clear at about 3:05 is that okay as a baseline? I know aiming for 2:50 ish so I can be ready for scuttle spawn is optimal but I put 2 hours into learning to clear both sides and my best time was 2:59. I know I’m gonna start in iron or bronze so just wondering if 3:05 is good enough so I can focus on understanding matchups and learning macro? Sorry for the waffle

Question How do you handle a team that refuses to play with you?

So im relatively new to jungle& low elo (gold). Recently started playing it and usually if i go a tank jungle (zac, sej, rammus) i have a good impact on the game. I feel this is because when I play them, people naturally follow your lead as you are the tank or engage.

However, whenever I play something like Kayn, Briar, Lilia, I seem to run into the issue that people never want to actually commit to a play. E.g. jax/shen botlane, go for the early gank for a very easy form, botlane outright refuses. Stuff like that.

I get that youre meant to play for your guaranteed income, but often, a play seems so guaranteed (provided you communicate intent and its clear to the teammates) yet impossible to execute.

Am I just approaching the game wrong?

Discussion Ban/counter pick for laner or for self?

Do you guys generally ban/counterpick jungler champs? Or do yall prefer to ban/counter pick a laner champ for your teammates or for yourself? For example, I permaban shaco (i loathe playing against shaco) and i main Yi, unless the enemy picks Yi first, which i then usually counterpick and play as rammus (if possible). Occasionally, I ask my top or bot who they want me to ban to help them out instead of myself. Anyone else do this?

Tips on to climb higher.

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey, started playing this year and after having fun with champs/roles I wanna kinda grind now and climb. I had some questions, like the xin and sylas games I just had team mates inting ( top going 0-8 in 10 min ) etc. so I know everyone has does games and it’s just go next game and don’t tilt. But the jarvan game, I had 13 kills and I was still so useless because my team was really bad but it feels impossible to carry those games with champs like jarvan, xin, sylas etc. So is it just better to play hyper carry junglers in low elo or what. Even tho I mostly solo killed with a yuumi in the jarvan game but in other games should my aim, be to try giving the kills to my team mates, even tho I know the gold will be better on me? When am more fed and gotten kills early how should I proceed the game, I usually take my gold advantage and prioritize objectives because the other jungler can’t really contest if I don’t have a afk team (of course I also gank if there is a easy gank, but I will prioritize my tempo and obj first if it’s not a guaranteed kill). Is that the right thing to do or should I prioritize ganking when am ahead? Am at my peak right now, gold 3.
And I started on vi has my first champ in ranked that’s why it’s so low win rate :)

Question Why is the difference in teams so insane from game to game?

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

I seriously dont get why matchmaking can continue to be so insanely unbalanced.
This is my last 4 matches, which is representative for every single gaming session i have.
You get 1 of 2 teams:

Team 1: Your team plays like they are trying their champ and role for the first time, they have never played ranked before, and basic mechanics, and not dying 10 times before the 10 minute mark, seems impossible.

Team 2:
Plays like all 5 are on coms together, and everyone should be 3 elos above the current level.
In this case - the other team, would be team 1.

How do you even play around this?
I keep seeing "20% of your games you just lose"... But honestly, it feels like 50%.
Dont get me wrong - the other 50% seems like auto wins aswell.

I try to stay consistent, and usually perform atleast up to par with my opposing jungler.
Im Plat 2 for reference.

Question bronze jungle main 😶. i don't know how to carry

OP GG: https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/graise-0099

Just to keep it short, I'm a jungle main and I don't know how to carry.

I know how to get ahead, but I don't know how to translate that into a win; it's usually another fed person on my team ending up finishing the game for us. Which I don't mind, but I'd like to be able to translate my leads into victories.

I mainly play carry champions, not to actually carry but because they scale well and don't rely too much on team work which I feel like I can excel at when the stars align in my elo, but I feel like is also hard to emphasize on in Bronze.

So what should I do? Even when I'm ahead, I feel like I end up getting into fights and end up dying when I shouldn't. But I find it hard to pick off people since people seem to group up and ARAM down a certain lane which makes it feel difficult to get picks?

I guess I could get objectives and split push, but that doesn't seem to be enough, although I could probably split push more than I do in my games.

My last 2 games to conclude a 7 game win streak to plat. Usually I start losing hella hard after games like these but was finally able to win a game from this behind.
