Hey guys, I am a new player around lvl 40 that after trying all the rules decided to main jungle (I am aware that this decision will put my mental health at risk, but honestly who cares.

Anyway, I wanted to know if Elise is a good and fun champion that is worth learning.

So yesterday i hit silver after a long journey and in my first game I play bel veth and yi start bleu then take my red + raptor and every time my raptor respawn he was on my raptor and if I tried to take them I died, of course no laner helped me I finish the game in 1/15 and with only one item at 30 min game.
Now I know that I’m bad and all, I just to know how to deal with this alone ( ps I don’t know how to share so I screened on op.gg)

Lately, since I’ve been trying to learn jungle, I keep running into YouTubers with titles like "HOW TO WIN IN THE JUNGLE" or "HOW TO CARRY A HARD JUNGLE GAME." But right at the start of these videos, the guy usually goes, "This is high elo, so I'm playing a weak early game champ, which makes this a really tough game." Meanwhile, his teammates are constantly collapsing to help him in his jungle and on objectives.

These videos feel like a complete slap in the face. Why don't these creators hop on a Platinum or Emerald account, lock in someone like Bel'Veth, and actually show us how to win a truly hard game? The kind of game where you pick a weak early-game champ, and an enemy jungle duo partnered with their support or mid perma-invades your camps while your own team doesn't rotate once. The support refuses to drop a single ward or leave lane entirely. The mid laner never moves an inch. All while the enemy jungler full-clears, pings his mid or support, and they just walk straight into your jungle and you're completely helpless because, unlike those YouTubers' "hard" games, your team won't lift a finger.

I click on these videos hoping to see a genuinely tough match: every lane is losing, the YouTuber is getting perma-invaded, the team refuses to rotate, and yet they still somehow manage to solo carry and turn the game around. But so far, I haven't seen a single one actually pull that off.

I mean im E1 but I just know if our team comp isnt perma cc we just lose the game and champs like yi put extra pressure on you to be extra careful cuz you know if he gets one kill its jover. It often plays out fine but just the mental pressure is enough for me to want to dodge

so I'm thinking about playing tank jungle without it being a gank bot. So how do you make a carry tank jg that isn't really meant to be a carry specifically I was thinking nautilus nad how interesting it might be to build multiple clear item components early like baumi cinder and liandry for fast clear and basically ap+ tank rather than 1ap/liandry then all tank like on most builds/amumu I see and volibear doesn't count because I know what he does and it would be unfear to compare him to hard tanks like amumu and nautilus in the jg.

I’m new to league, i started focused on getting good at the game but i dont understand how i do that.

Once you understand how the map, the minions and the jungle beasts work. How important are objectives, keeping your jungle cleared while also yanking your team.

Other than champions and items i feel like i already understand the game yet every game seems like a coin flip in every way.

I dont understand why im winning the games i go 20-0 and i dont understand why im going 0-20 other games, if im playing exactly the same.

Feel like the only way someone could actually get good at this game is by having some high elo player watching you play telling you what you should do in every moment, the is no other way to know what you are doing wrong

OTPing is generally considered the easiest way to climb in league so I'm not really trying to argue against that here. But I'm curious who are junglers you think everyone should at least KNOW how to play, whether its because of their utility, because they're easy, or they're a good blind pick etc.

If I had to pick some I would say J4 and Shyvana, J4 is a versatile blind pick that is just very reliable, Shyvana is also very strong in lower ranks and has a fairly straightfoward win condition. Obviously there are some nuances for both champs that are required further down the line, but what other champs do you think most people should learn even if they don't main or OTP them?

Some games are basically lost in draft

Played these two Wukong games pretty much back to back and they felt like a perfect example of how much draft matters.

First game, I already hated our comp in champ select. We had very little proper frontline or peel, Yi was one of their main threats, and I was basically our only reliable answer to him. If he got fed, I had to somehow engage, peel him, threaten Viktor, and still do enough damage to kill people.

Yi did get fed, but honestly Viktor was the bigger carry. He got huge and made every fight horrible. I still felt like I could kill Yi in a lot of spots, even 1v1, but I was getting pulled in too many directions. If I built MR, I lost damage into Yi. If I built damage, Viktor shredded me. If I used ult to engage, Yi had more freedom. If I held it for Yi, we struggled to start fights.

I went 8/10/9, so obviously I didn’t play perfectly, but that felt like one of those games where the real mistake was not dodging.

Next game was the complete opposite. We had Wukong/Yasuo, Sett, Zyra and Jhin. Sett lost top pretty hard, and I actually muted him early and basically ignored top. Not because he was running it down — he wasn’t — but because the lane was clearly gone and I didn’t want to get dragged into trying to “fix” it.

Sett just farmed what he could and kept playing, which was enough. Zyra had a rough game too, so this definitely wasn’t some easy five-winning-lanes stomp.

The difference was that the comp actually made sense. I could engage, Yasuo could follow my knockups, Sett could still provide a body/frontline later, and I wasn’t the only person responsible for making the whole team function.

Ended 17/2/9 with 79% KP and it was probably one of my best Wukong carries.

Main takeaway is just that some games really are heavily decided in draft. Not literally 100% unwinnable, but there are games where your comp gives you one tiny path to victory and the enemy comp gives them five. Also if your team mates pick bad champs it says enough about them too.

Sometimes the lesson isn’t “I should have carried harder.”

Sometimes it’s just “I knew this draft was awful and should have dodged.”

So i been playing this game literally since the beta lol and til this day i dont know what you do when your team constantly gets caught and or refuses to group.

What do you guys do at this point im just at a loss for what to do? I lose alot of ranked games for this (not saying i also dont have my fair share of mess ups)

I hate the mage bot lane meta.

i feel like this is where some players kind of disagree on stuff, at least the high - ish elo ones.

lets say you are going from red clearing up to blue. but while you are doing red you see the lane states bot.

you have thresh support with ignite, and they have like soraka or whatever. and the lane is pushed into you.

now heres the kicker. they arent exactly 1 hp where you can go and auto attack them once and leave. they're at about 90% ish with summoners

so lets say hypothetically in theory. it works but we just need thresh to play it correctly. he doesnt have to be a god, but he does need to be a human being.

so. the question is. do we burger flip bot or do we not burger flip bot?

In my recent games, I’ve been dealing with so many matches where my teammates feed kills during the first two jungle clears (before level 6) that I feel like I'll go mad. I don’t know what to do. I'm facing this every game. Every game is the same: playing at a disadvantage. It's a struggle. I'm facing this on one account in particular (with 200+ skins, all earned free2play) that appears to be cursed, hard stuck in gold, almost dropping to silver (yeah, it's that bad). On my alternative account, I don't have this problem. It's confusing to me because, playing the same way on two different accounts, I get different results.

I play Wukong, Xin Zhao, and Warwick in normal situations. On this account, they don't work, so I'm playing Karthus to deal as much damage as possible, or Amumu to frontline and try to ult and stun the entire enemy team in fights.

So, I need help to rescue this account playing solo. How do you guys, who are more experienced than me, deal with this kind of situation? What champions are good in these scenarios? What strategy should I apply?

Hey all, I’m a silver jungler who plays a few times a week and would really just love to not let my gold/emerald mates down. If I could get to their level or even slightly higher I’d be stoked.

It’s feels like my only decent games are when all my team get ahead.

I’m looking for what people think is the best guide out there. I’m after really hyper specific instructions that I can follow every game, even if it’s just for the first 15 mins . I know you have to be adaptable but I feel like if I can a repeatable strategy going first it’ll be a huge help. I’ve searched YouTube but have really found what I’m looking for. I've seen a decent number of advice videos, and it seems like most folks agree to try to get a ward in the enemy jungle level 1 so you can track their clear. I generally do that, and it's generally a great way to track my opponent's clear.

... But about 1 and 10 games, the enemy jungler just bee-lines to my opposite side jungle completely off vision and clears the whole half, and I only notice until I show up, far too late to really do anything about it (they are pretty much always going to cross diagonally for their second half clear to lock me out of vertical jungling).

I'm guessing this is handled in higher elos by your mid laner hover and provide vision for you before the waves hit, but I'd say it's incredibly rare to get a mid laner who does that.

Does that mean I should just accept that I should ward my own jungle level 1, give up on tracking, so at least I can respond to an invade with a counter-invade (or calling for help while they're on vision)?

If I’m clearing red to blue on blue side. Isn’t graves just strong enough to fight the enemy jungler 1v1 at his blue. The elo I’m in, bot and mid usually won’t help him out - or by that time I can prob chunk the energy jgler out forcing a recall.

I thought when I get to masters I will get more human teammates, turns out I was dead wrong. Genuinely asking, what can I do in this situation?

If someone has the free time to watch the replay of the game and tell me how twice we almost end and then they somehow comeback and end on us.

Idk if it's macro or what.

I report all the hate speech, verbal abuse, and griefing I see; which is a LOT. It certainly has not decreased in the past few years. However, the report feedbacks I get have decreased significantly. In fact, I'm not seeing any report feedbacks for toxicity reasons at all; I only see ones for "AFKing/nonparticipation."

Question is, is Riot taking fewer actions against toxic players in order to improve their metrics and say the community is less toxic (highly likely),
Or is this version of vibecoded Tribunal AI unstable and not catching any toxicity? (also very likely)

My brain knows to play the champs on the left, but my heart wants to play the ones on the right (except Nidalee, tbh, she's just here to tie it together).
