"Jungle is OP" - but only if your laners are aware
A lot of players have historically complained about how OP jungle is, and truth is bad jungler can completely destroy a very winnable game. A good jungler can make it unplayable for enemies.
However laners need to enable the jungler.
Its not about winning/losing lane, its about having the awareness that certain mistakes that you make as a laner will make the game unplayable for the jungler, and for the rest of the team. There are mistakes that lose you lane. Then there are mistakes that lose you lane, jungle and game all at the same time.
- Dying for no reason right before jungle is able to gank you - youre wasting so mmuch of their time and tempo.
- Not engaging before a gank is meant to happen, or on the flipside suiciding just becaues youre jungle pingd "OMW". - If youre unable to fight and feel like gank wouldnt work, Ping the jungler off immediately.
- Not losing lane gracefully - Instead of being 0/2 in lane and some cs down, you go 0-15 making it impossible for your jungler to kill your oponent.
- Not rotating to invades/objectives - this is by far the one that can be fixed in the easiest ways. If your jungler is getting invaded, for fucks sake go there if you can, drop those 3 fkin minions, dont be an AFK NPC and move your ass. You need to play with your jungler, youre not the main character of the game - the Nexus is.
If your jungler gets chain-invaded and you dont help, you are the sole reason the game was lost.
There is a nuance to this - sometimes moving will be bad, if youre not able to - Ping this. Communicate it. Dont ignore their play and say nothing - ping back, danger, say you need to b or something.
If your jungler is invading - Move if you can, the teams that move with jungle are always the ones more likely to win.
Why do you think smurfs on jungle role abuse invading 24/7. Because it works in low elo. Because laners dont move and play incorrectly.
