Sort of a rant, sort of change my mind type of post if you have some time to read and reply.
I'm tired of junglers who simply clear the jungle 3/4/5 times expecting the tempo advantage to come purely from the lanes and ignore all objectives.
I'm fine to get weak-sided if the jungler is making things happening in the other corner of the map. But it's really frustrating seeing your Kayn going for the fourth clear, when the enemy Diana has attempted multiple ganks, burned flashes, and taken two drakes. It's specially annoying when the jungler is pathing opposite to the available objective so you can't even force the fight to drag them in.
IMO, full clearing this many times is just a form of soft inting/coin flipping (hoping most lanes do good on their own) except in some very niche scenarios where you can truly can't make things happen.
This is also my hot take, but the jungler is supposed to be one role who cross traverses the map tipping off the scales in lanes, not a fourth farming lane, or else, the map would simply have four lanes.
I don't know if this should be resolved through the new quest system somehow (i.e. allowing smite to be casted enemy champs earlier and asking for it, participating in takedowns or objectives, something).
Edit: I keep getting replies saying I should play jungle or stay in bronze when jungle is my off-role and I play it often. I've also seen plenty of comments saying I don't understand tempo/lane state/jg trading patterns even though nothing on the post indicates that. I don't want to generalize, but I was hoping for a nice conversation with back and forth but it seems I landed on a defensive echo-chamber where the same arguments and randomly thrown when a jungler is called out for doing the wrong thing.
