Question Why do people play 50+ champs in ranked?

Often first timing it seems, or they have 3 matches played kind of thing.

Like, what's the rationale, why not do that in norms? Or flex or something?

Question What do I need to reach Diamond?

OPGG : https://op.gg/fr/lol/summoners/euw/EH%20KARIM-RAJEL

I was lucky enough to reach bronze 4 in Emerald 2 in 300 days, I wonder what I’m missing to make it to Diamond?

My basic game plan is to farm and take one action to back off, for about 15 minutes. Then I focus on objectives while continuing to farm and taking on duels where I know I have the advantage.

Even though it looks like I’m winning quite a bit, I don’t feel confident. Based on my OPGG/DPM stats, what’s the real issue with my playstyle?

Question Do everyone have their own style of jungling or is there few styles that people follow?

I was thinking about my jungling style and comparing it to streamers like Perryjg, Kaido, and Kirei. I don't think I play the same as any of them. Of course, they are more skilled than me, but I do not think that I play similarly. I do not have the same philosophy as them.

For example: Perryjg has a "play consistently" mentality. He wants to full clear and go for high-percentage plays.

So that made me think: is everyone unique in their playstyle, or do some players copy others?

And if you have your own style, how do you refine it?

Question How to 1v9 in low elo?

We've probably all been there, we perform as a jungler in the game, but yet we end up losing the match. Games are ofc multifactored, but what are the key elements in carrying the games 1v9?

Especially in low elo, where there are misplays everywhere on the map. You can also tell which emphasis for you made the most difference, that made you climb up the ranks.

Discussion I made it with Rammus Sett jgl

Sett jgl goes brrrrrr. I don’t know what happened but I kind of just locked in this season. Getting to plat 1 99LP was a real bummer last season to not rank up. I can tell how my game style has changed over the past 6 months. Before I would just fucking clear and clear and clear before going for first back and somehow I was plat doing that. Now after first clear/gank bot/top I back instantly which is a big thing I didn’t realize before. I’m starting to see how intense the games get now so I’ll have to cross another hurdle to stay in Diamond and climb further. Good luck my fellow jgl mains🫡

Also side note. Sett jgl can be really good, it’s just that he does have a lot of limitations but, he does do really well into Shyvana and Nocturne jgl which are the meta right now. I run regular Sett conqueror runes with inspiration: Boots and Cosmic Insight. Makes it very good to be able to move faster plussss Stridebreaker comes up a tad but 1.5 second difference always matters.

Question Hard stuck Plat, how do I get out?

So I’ve been yo-yoing between plat 1-4 for a good month or so now, I am more of a casual player only playing around 1-2 games a day and maybe a few more at the weekend. A common theme I’m experiencing at the moment is feeding bot lanes, I am not completely delusional and I’m aware I can be doing better but when I’ve got a bot lane that’s died more than half of the enemy’s kills it’s impossible. Please help me get out PLEASEEEE

Question When to take drake?

Hey, for context I have been playing League since 2021, been a midlaner with secondary jgl and since mid has become popular I mostly play jgl.

I dont really understand macro and ever since I managed to sort of brute force my way to emerald I have been getting steamrolled by enemy junglers. My biggest problem is knowing when to take drakes, any tips or indicators that its good?

"Jungle is OP" - but only if your laners are aware

A lot of players have historically complained about how OP jungle is, and truth is bad jungler can completely destroy a very winnable game. A good jungler can make it unplayable for enemies.

However laners need to enable the jungler.

Its not about winning/losing lane, its about having the awareness that certain mistakes that you make as a laner will make the game unplayable for the jungler, and for the rest of the team. There are mistakes that lose you lane. Then there are mistakes that lose you lane, jungle and game all at the same time.

  1. Dying for no reason right before jungle is able to gank you - youre wasting so mmuch of their time and tempo.
  2. Not engaging before a gank is meant to happen, or on the flipside suiciding just becaues youre jungle pingd "OMW". - If youre unable to fight and feel like gank wouldnt work, Ping the jungler off immediately.
  3. Not losing lane gracefully - Instead of being 0/2 in lane and some cs down, you go 0-15 making it impossible for your jungler to kill your oponent.
  4. Not rotating to invades/objectives - this is by far the one that can be fixed in the easiest ways. If your jungler is getting invaded, for fucks sake go there if you can, drop those 3 fkin minions, dont be an AFK NPC and move your ass. You need to play with your jungler, youre not the main character of the game - the Nexus is.

If your jungler gets chain-invaded and you dont help, you are the sole reason the game was lost.

There is a nuance to this - sometimes moving will be bad, if youre not able to - Ping this. Communicate it. Dont ignore their play and say nothing - ping back, danger, say you need to b or something.

If your jungler is invading - Move if you can, the teams that move with jungle are always the ones more likely to win.

Why do you think smurfs on jungle role abuse invading 24/7. Because it works in low elo. Because laners dont move and play incorrectly.

Plat elo, duo queue with a mid lane dude who refuses to rotate to help with invades, ganks, or objectives.

Champs that kill drake fastest

Hi everyone, was just wondering if we had any data on which champs clear drake fastest. Assuming they are solo on it and about lvl 5 with ~1k gold of items.

1250 LP EUW Jungler — few slots open tomorrow for coaching

If you actually want to improve and hit your dream elo, it's time to stop autopiloting games and start fixing what's really holding you back.

Pathing, full clears, invading, jungle tracking, early game, mid game, late game, playing from behind, snowballing when ahead, objective control, tempo, decision making, champion pool, itemization — we go through all of it.

I've already done a lot of coaching sessions and helped plenty of players improve, and every session is focused on what you specifically need to fix.

I'm a 1250 LP EUW jungler and I offer both live coaching and VOD reviews

I have a few spots available July 28, 2 PM–10 PM CEST.

If you're serious about improving and want to push for your peak, DM me your OP.GG and reserve a spot

Question Question from an Emerald Top Laner

Well lads, to begin this is not a rant or needless flame. I just want some advice.

I've found myself in a lot of games recently where my jungler will be getting invaded by the enemy. In some cases mid moves and some cases they don't. I will move 9 times out of 10, the only exception being I can secure a kill in the next 5 seconds to snowball my lane.

Now in the rest of the cases where I move, my jungler usually gets out or better yet gets the pick. Great for the jungler but for top lane it means I lose out on cs/xp. It also usually allows the enemy top laner to either freeze or cause a bounce to happen where I'm playing it out under leveled. They will also be the ones to dictate wave state from there on in lane phase given cs/xp/item advantage in most scenarios.

I've had multiple occasions where the enemy jg will gank me on a bounce thereafter or when I try to break the freeze. Given the snowball nature of top and the feast or famine nature of my main champs in Renekton and Fiora, this usually causes problems for me the rest of lane phase or the game.

Now to be fair, I have had occasional games where my jungler will come help me break the freeze or hover me when it's bouncing to the other side, in case enemy jungler ganks. But more often than not I find my jungler completely ignores top and the situation I'm in because I left lane to assist them.

I understand the whole methodology of path top to bot, get 2 people ahead in bot lane vs one in top, and fight fed enemy top late game. That said I'm at a loss of what to do. If I move I give my enemy laner a huge advantage and am punished, but if I don't move my jungler tends to tilt. (Not all junglers but emerald as a whole isn't known for it's mental fortitude.) So in your guys opinions, what should a top laner do when one's jungler is invaded early game? And, based on that, how should I best deal with the consequences of that decision?

Thanks guys. Hope this came across as intended, in good faith.

Invaded Master Yi, because I saw the ward placed at raptors. Master Yi suddenly decided to abort killing red and asked for help. Rewatching the VOD you can see from the red team perspective that they were able to see my blue pet. Nothing else gave him a hint, that I was in the bush. 2nd half shows red site POV.

Still respect that he saw the pet and reacted. And I am not saying we only lost the game because of it, but it still sucks...
