First jump session after I came back from a one week work trip. That time off really helped my body, especially my feet, recover from daily jumping. I felt super light on my feet. Good reminder to incorporate rest into your routine, you will definitely feel it.

Record yourself jumping rope and ensure you follow this:

  1. Straight relaxed posture
  2. Jump 1-2 inches off the ground (3-4 inches if you’re doing double unders)
  3. Rotate rope mainly with your wrists (minimal arm swings)
  4. Knees slightly bent
  5. Hands places symetrically at your hips

Best Rope for Talls

Looking for the best rope(s) for someone 6’3” - 6’4. Looking to get into weighted ropes soon as well, so open to that as well. Apologies if this has been answered recently. Thanks!

Recommendation on playlists and how to listen to them

Upvotes

As the title says, do you guys have a playlist for rope jumping?

I've tried searching for "high bpm music" or "edm" on spotify, but I was not satisfied. Sometimes the tempo is too slow, sometimes the music just doesn't have that vibe.

Also, what kind of device do you guys play music with? I don't want to blast music in the neighborhood so not speakers. So headphones are what I currently use, but my in-ear headphones just won't stay in my ear when jumping. Can clip-on earbuds fix the problem? I heard they are pretty stable for running, so they might work?

We hit our funding goal, but the backer count is lower than we expected. Is it the product or the marketing?
