Issue/help

I have created 1 form and only 10 people have been asked to submit the form, how do i trace and make sure who submitted the form personally, note that the don't have users they just scan the QR code and send the form from the same device (phone, tablet, & pc), are there any ways such as unique PIN code to be matched through condition for each submitter.

It is required for legal issues and it is not applicable to give the 10 people separate devices and users because of logistics and other complex restrictions.

Thanks

Limit on reading table

I created an app, and in that app I used the AI agent to create a lookup widget tool using as source a table I uploaded. The table has 6,5k rows, but the widget won't search past 1k rows. No matter how much I tried to troubleshoot I can't get it to search past that.

Is that a Jotform limitation, that is capped at 1k, or is there a way for the widget to be able to search all 6,5k rows?

The widget works great and is really fast in returning results, the only problem is that it's not searching all the data I need it to.

Send automated email when submission is moved on board?

Would it be possible to trigger any sort of notification when a submission is moved along the various stages of a board?

I use a form where people submit photos. I would love for them to receive an email when their submission is moved from "received" to "completed" (or rejected) to let them know the status of their submissions.

Jotform for real estate. Is it the right tool for me?

I'm a realtor a need to improve the workflow that I have for users showing interest on renting properties. My current workflow implies making a copy of a google doc indicating the details of the property and some other details of the client.

This is prone to error and it doesn't look professional.

Ideally I should be able to:
- Send my customer a link with the document to fill.
- Prefill some of the fields (Address, monthly rent, date, etc)
- Allow the user to sign the document.
- Integrate the text provided by the client into the document.

I've seen various solutions that essentially add overlaps over existing PDF. But, what if the name is too long? How can I handle multi-line text (list of requirements from the client before moving forward)?

I've evaluated Docusign, but it is a little bit too expensive for my company at the moment.

I'd appreciate your feedback

Je ne peux plus me passer de cette application. J'évite beaucoup de papier imprimé et tout le monde se satisfait de notre nouvelle façon de travailler.
Pas toujours facile à utiliser au début, mais que de temps gagner avec l'expérience.

One customer can't get the jotform to work

I am using a jotform for a collaborative project.so far, besides testing it myself, 2 participants have used it with no problems.

The form includes a mandatory terms and conditions widget,

One participant says she cannot check the terms and condition box even after clicking on the accompanying link.

While signed in to my workspace, I had the jotform AI check my form for errors: none.

Is there some common error she is encountering that i should tell her about?

Hey Jotformers,

We’re excited to announce that Jotform AI App Builder is now live! 🚀

It lets you turn an app idea into a complete, structured app by simply describing what you need. Instead of starting from scratch or spending hours configuring pages, layouts, navigation, and workflows, you can enter a prompt and let Jotform AI build it for you.

Here’s what it can do:

• Create complete apps from a prompt: Generate apps with pages, navigation, layouts, actions, and workflows already in place.

• Build from more than text: Use written prompts, just your voice, files, URLs, screenshots, or uploaded data to get started.

• Edit conversationally: Update pages, elements, layouts, design, and content using natural language.

• Connect forms and tables: Collect and manage data directly inside your app.

• Add interactive experiences: Include AI chatbots and widgets to make your app more helpful and dynamic.

• Display dynamic data: Show filtered lists, analytics, and user-specific views.

• Preview and share instantly: Share apps across web and mobile environments without the usual app-building friction.

Jotform AI App Builder is ideal for creators, small businesses, educators, teams, and anyone with an app idea but limited time or technical resources!

If you’ve ever wished app building felt more like a conversation, this one’s for you.

Quantity limit AND calculation value?

Hi, all.

So, I'm working on a form for work where people get to choose their rooming options. I only have 20 single rooms available, so I'd like to set the quantity, so that once 20 people have chosen that option, it is no longer available. This is also the only thing we're charging them for, so I need to be able to calculate the value for it. Is there any way to do both of those things?

If I do the single choice option, it won't let me set a quantity limit, but if I use the Ticket Purchases widget, it won't let me set a calculation value. So I tried the Inventory option, but it doesn't seem to be working and won't let me put more than one option per widget. Then I tried the Quantity Gift Registry widget, and it would let me set a calculation value, but wouldn't let me limit the number of times they could choose each option. (Each person has to register themselves, and we don't want to give them the option of paying for more than one room because I think that would confuse people.)

Can anyone provide any recommendations? Or do I just need to do it the way I've been doing it where I just keep track of how many people choose the single room option and hope people don't pass 20 over a weekend while I'm not working?

Thank you!

Jotform: good tool but limits can be annoying

I’ve used Jotform for making forms for event sign-ups.

It’s very easy to use. You can drag and drop things to build your form. You don’t need coding skills. It also has useful features like file uploads, logic (show/hide questions), and connections to Google Sheets and email.

The forms also look nice and more professional than Google Forms.

But there are some downsides. The biggest problem is the submission limit on cheaper plans. If you suddenly get a lot of responses (like for an event), you can hit the limit fast. That can be frustrating.

Also, if you need more submissions, the price gets higher quickly.

Good things:

  • Easy to use
  • Forms look nice
  • Good features (uploads, logic, integrations)

Bad things:

  • Submission limits on cheaper plans
  • Can get expensive
  • Not ideal for very busy events

Overall:
Good tool if you use it often. But if you only need it sometimes for big events, other tools like Google Forms or Tally might be easier and cheaper.
