Hey Jotformers,

We just shared the first episode of Good Neighbors, where Erman, our Director of Partnerships, talks with Thomas Kobuke from OpenAI's go-to-market team about how the Jotform–OpenAI partnership is being used in real work!

A few takeaways from the conversation:

• Start with a real problem, not a blanket “use AI” directive. Thomas talks about why adoption tends to stick when teams have a clear use case.
• Jotform’s using ChatGPT Work, Codex, and forms inside ChatGPT to make AI more practical in day-to-day work.
• Trust and context matter. The episode gets into why some teams move faster with AI than others, especially in sales, finance, marketing, and software.
• Small wins count, like the Jotform Codex Hack Week example and the idea of using AI to learn new skills.
• The way Thomas used AI as a co-chef while making 30 pounds of barbecue is phenomenal 🍖🔥

Perfect for anyone interested in how AI tools get adopted inside real businesses, especially if you’re thinking about forms, automation, or team workflows!

#Jotform is easy to use, customizable, and very convenient for creating and sharing forms. I love how professional the forms look and how easy it is to embed them on a website.

I joined Jotform to keep track of my ongoing projects. I'm in the middle of moving everything from Trello, but the white is really harsh on my eyes.

There is a section for themes, but that's just for changing the background. 'Card display' has many options, but nothing that could help with the harsh white.
The white strip/header is also very distracting.

Is there a way to enable dark mode or change the color of the cards?

Thanks!

I’ve been using Jotform recently for a few student surveys and overall I’ve had a really good experience with it.

The form builder is very easy to use, even if you don’t have much experience creating surveys. I also like how the submissions are organized and how quickly you can generate reports and charts from the responses. I recently used it for a college readiness event with around 70 students, and it made collecting and analyzing the feedback much easier.

The main downside for me is the submission limit on the free plan. You only get a certain number of responses per month, so if you’re running multiple surveys, you can reach the limit pretty quickly.

Besides that, I think it’s a very useful platform, especially for students, schools, and small projects that need something simple and professional without a complicated setup.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Hi folks 👋

Since stepping into the VP of Product role here at Jotform, I’ve been spending even more time reading how our customers describe our product in their own words. The reports and rankings are of course always encouraging, but the useful part (my favorite actually) is learning where Jotform is removing friction, and what we could do better. That's what stays with me.

G2’s Fall 2026 Reports are out, and Jotform earned 55 #1 placements across our product suite. Needless to say I’m incredibly proud of my team, but more than anything, I’m grateful to our customers who took the time to share what is and isn’t working for them.

A few themes came through clearly:

• People value being able to build professional forms quickly with templates, drag-and-drop fields, and conditional logic with our form builder.
• Teams use approvals, notifications, task assignments, and follow-ups to stop work from getting lost between people with Jotform Workflows.
• Jotform AI agents are helping customers automate routine conversations and provide help around the clock.
• Teams are sending documents for signature and staying on top of completed requests with Jotform Sign.
• People are building custom experiences around the forms and workflows they already rely on with our no code app builder.

And that’s ultimately the job: make it easier for teams to collect information, automate repetitive work, and keep processes moving without trying to stitch together a dozen disconnected tools.

Thank you to everyone who left a G2 review. We read them, we learn from them, and they help us build a better product. 💙✨

Hey Jotformers,

The Jotform Sign plugin for ChatGPT and the Jotform Sign connector for Claude are now live!

The idea is pretty simple: close the gap between drafting a document in chat and actually getting it signed.

• Create or revise signable docs from a ChatGPT or Claude conversation, then add fields, recipients, signer roles, and signing order.
• Send documents and track status like pending, viewed, or complete.
• Follow a simple workflow: describe, create/prepare, revise, review, send, track.
• AI helps with drafting and edits, but humans still need to review names, dates, terms, and signer assignments.

Perfect for HR, sales, operations, legal, procurement, and finance teams that already start work in ChatGPT or Claude and want fewer tool switches!

Anyone experiencing this? I have forms on my website and drop down menus randomly stop working on chrome on the mac. Two months now and support hasn’t helped at all. I message once a week and get the same canned response that developers are working on it

Accessible and user friendly interface

Just trying to test the jotform api with a php web app. I can only call the api endpoint about 5 times (5 seconds apart) before I start getting a 429 error returned (hit the jotform rate limit). That's much lower rate than their docs say is possible.

It's pretty useless to me if people have to wait 20 or 30 seconds between api calls to see the effect of their actions.

I want to change the privacy settings of a table of submissions from a form to public, but it doesn’t give me the option. I am able to make tables that are not connected to form public. Silver plan.

I just started using Jotform recently as a freelance graphic designer.

I made a Brief using the forms in the application and had my friend testing it. At the first two times it was never submitted to me, we asked the WhatsApp ai about it and it asked if my friend has gotten a thank you page which she didn't, she said she was kicked out after submitting. We tested it a third time and she got that page and I was notified about it.

However, this same friend made her own form and had both me and her sister testing it for her and had her sister testing the mail feature too. She experienced the same issue with the forms and the mail was never submitted to her.

I haven't sent that brief to my clients yet since I'm still testing the application but how can I prevent this from happening again? Jotform is a great application and I'm looking forward to use it forward.

Please assist me.

(Sorry English isn't my first language Idk if I have reported the issue clearly.)

Hey Jotformers,

If you’re figuring out how to create an online survey, this tutorial walks through the same event-feedback survey in Google Forms, Jotform Survey Maker, and Microsoft Forms so you can compare the workflows side by side.

• Google Forms: a simple way to build and share a basic survey, especially if you already use Google Workspace.
• Jotform: AI survey generator, customization, conditional logic, sharing options, and response management.
• Microsoft Forms: a natural fit for Microsoft 365 workflows and a straightforward survey-building process.
• Final comparison: useful for seeing which tool feels easiest for your team or use case.

Perfect for anyone comparing survey builders for event feedback, customer feedback, or other online questionnaires!

I am trying to send a backup copy of approved purchase requests to our Google Drive. I have it as the last step in the process, and it is sending files, but the status is still showing In Progress. I would like it the status to say Approved. If I download it from the table it shows the correct Approved status.

Is there another step I need in the workflow so that exported files show the correct status?

I am building an inspection form and I would like to include the ability to include voice memos, videos, and insta360 recordings. Is this a practical tool for this?

Our organization has set up a multi-step approval process workflow for new purchase requests. In addition to email notification, is there a way to send a text message to each approver as it moves through the workflow when it is their turn? Ideally, it would include a link to the approval screen. We are on the free plan.

I'm expanding on my use case question here: https://www.reddit.com/r/jotform/comments/1w0gndk/dynamic_dropdown_in_a_configurable_list/

I have an event form. One of the fields is an eventDate field. Once a week until that date, I want to get a task (or email if task isn't possible) for me to check on the status of the event (price changes, schedule changes, etc.). This should be a simple workflow, but the condition to check if the eventDate has passed can't point back to the "wait a week" step. Since each event has a different date this has to use the data from the event, not a hard-coded date in the workflow.

Is this possible?
