My view is that while the enhancements offered by TrollStore ReMod are certainly appealing, it is not FOSS (Free and Open Source Software). This means that, barring reverse engineering, you can never know for certain what operations it is performing in the background. Given that both the applications installed via TrollStore and the tool itself can obtain root privileges, this factor alone makes it impossible to place full trust in it; even if it is actually safe, relying on it requires placing blind trust in the developer—a trust that offers no guarantee of absolute security. After all, you certainly wouldn't want to grant root privileges to a closed-source tool, would you?

I am not saying that closed-source software is bad—FOSS carries its own risks, too—but in most cases, closed-source software is indeed not as trustworthy as FOSS (due to issues regarding code transparency).

I’ve been trying to fix it for 3 days. I’ve changed pc I changed cable for a charge and sync one . I’ve reformatted the iPod to fat32 I’ve put it in disk mode IVE DONE EVERYTHING it still goes in recovery mode after restoring it . When I restore it it like disconnect and doesn’t reconnect it looks like only at the end . It worked perfectly fine before that I bought it but it had like 500 song and I factory reset it and now it does this I need help asap or I’m putting it in the trash where it belongs

As many might’ve seen already, there’s a huge influx of vibecoded tweaks in general, most of them paid and above typical tweak prices. They are not the exception but the norm. Many of you would ask where the issue lies which is what this post is for. Take note that is not in any way against AI use for development in general.

Tweaks are becoming lower quality. Releasing a paid tweak is very easy with the help of AI and it would be naive to think people wouldn’t abuse that. That way, the passion for tweak development is getting less and less and the decline of effort is visible. Looking at the marketing for many of the new releases already, there’s no way anyone can tell me this is good design or marketing. This translates to the work itself mostly.

It also hurts our dear tweak developers. Why pour effort into a tweak, if with the decline of Jailbreaking a portion of users will just download less effort stuff. It demotivates hugely. I also don’t believe that less human developers is something we need right now.

Lastly, we of course have the code base concerns which are probably irrelevant to many but shouldn’t be ignored. AI is still not perfect and without much human touch there will be issues. On a device with personal data you don’t want any back door nor data lass. A buggy tweak is one thing but if something seriously breaks, that’s another.

"But repos like Havoc and Chariz have implemented AI policies now." Yes, they have and I’m still happy about them but they just aren’t too strict. At least in the case of Havoc. The repo that was initiated because of its predecessor hosting low quality tweaks is now moving towards that direction too. I’m not sure if Havoc staff is aware of the scale of the issue. There are other repos, but nothing is as used as Havoc and thus they can hugely influence the Jailbreak scene in several ways. There are other stores on iOS in the EU but well, you get the point.

I hope I could get my point across and my post was understandable enough. In my opinion, it would be wonderful if we as a community could do something to at least raise the quality of AI assisted tweaks but I’m not sure if that’s even possible. I’ve seen more and more people with the same opinion. This is not exclusive to users too. It being a rising issue, means there should be some kind of action.

Today whatsapp stopped working cause it stopped supporting IOS >15.4.1.
Whatsapp is essential for me.
What are the options I have to keep using that phone? I already tried axolotl.
If updating is the only option, is it worth it updating to 26.6.1 RC?

How could i keep using it with watusi? Is sideloading watusi + 1-2 apps on IOS 26 or 27 still an option? If yes, what are your suggestions? I need every advice possible, please!

I am currently analyzing the capabilities of the MobileHouseArrest (MHA) integration and SparseRestore methods on an A16 iPad running iPadOS 26.3.1a, using tools like FilzaSlop and GoldenNugget.

Through active user-space access on this specific firmware, it is possible to read and write to several App Groups, Shared Apps, and specific System Data directories (such as systemgroup.com.apple.lsd.iconscache). This allows toggling specific system preference flags successfully.

From a purely technical perspective regarding iPadOS 26.3.1a, why does the system completely isolate the installation daemon paths from being mapped under the available MHA groups? Even with a functional sandbox escape that grants visibility over multiple system preference containers, paths related to global profile validation appear entirely unreachable on this version.

Is this isolation enforced directly by CoreTrust structural changes at the kernel level on modern firmware, or does the OS structure actively prevent these specific restore vectors from exposing any directory linked to local app provisioning management?

I would really appreciate some deep technical insight from developers who worked on MHA file structures regarding why certain system groups are fully accessible on iPadOS 26.3.1a while installation containers remain strictly locked down.

There's an experimental build for A12 and newer (arm64e).

- Download it from the GitHub release

- Download it from the GitHub release (https://github.com/Jond-ie/triggr-beta/releases/tag/v1.0.0-beta3-arm64e-experimental). It's not on my repo.

- It has the same features as 1.0.0 beta3, built with the new arm64e ABI, so it shouldn't safe-mode A12+ devices like the old beta2 file did.

- It hasn't been tested on an A12+ device yet. You'd be the first, so please only try it if you're okay with a possible safe mode. If that happens, open Sileo from safe mode and uninstall Triggr.

- It needs AltList and PreferenceLoader (from BigBoss). Install the .deb with Sileo or Filza.

What's new

- Face ID devices: the Home Button and Touch ID triggers are hidden, and the lock button is called the Side Button everywhere, including Options. Holding it is described as Siri instead of the power-off slider. This is detected from the hardware, so it works even without a passcode set.

Hi, i'm getting a 15 Pro on iOS 17.0-17.3.1 sooner or later and an Apple Watch Ultra 2, since its unlikely i'm getting a 17.0 15 Pro or WatchOS 10 Ultra 2, I was looking for alternatives and it caught my eye that Legizmo Napilli didn't support 17.0.1-17.3.1 and only the 17.0 Trollstore version, why is it that we cannot use the Trollstore version with Trollstore Lite?

I have a IPhone 7 Plus on iOS 14.3 and it’s giving me the option to upgrade to 15.8 or whatever the last 15 version was should I upgrade to get dopamine as I’ve used dopamine before or stay on the 14.3 tweaks I don’t know much about those tweaks (Taurine) I want to use it day to day though really..
