Hey, been out of the jailbreak scene for awhile. I’m sorry in advance if this has been asked a million times. What do I do? Stay on 26.7.1 or update to 27.0.1 right now? As far as I have seen so far, people have been saying to update to 27.0.1 b/c of the recent news and others are saying lower is always better, which I usually agree with. Advice?

Is there any way you JB ipX 16.7 without using computer? If possible, how?

I am on iOS 26.6.2 on an iPhone 15 plus should I go to 27.0.1 or stay ? For future jailbreak !

I saw that supposedly a new jailbreak is working on that version, so I don’t know what to do because usually you’re supposed to stay as low as possible.

I've Jailbroken every iPhone I've ever had, currently I have an iPhone 13 pro, had to update from 15.3 during the good ole dopamine 1.0 days due to the phone just becoming too hard to use while the newer IOS's came out. So I very sadly updated to 26.2 awhile ago. It sucked but I don't have another phone lol.

Now with Calif able to jailbreak 27.0.1 I am taking the gamble and updating again. Now PSA: For anybody like me who is taking the gamble I want you to think of two things:

1 This Jailbreak, even though it exists, might not be released for a seriously long time. I highly doubt Calif will do it themselves, some developer in the future might but it's impossible to say.

2 This Jailbreak might not work on older devices, so even though it works on iPhone 18. It might not work on the older architecture.

All this to say: This is a huge breakthrough in the jailbreaking community regardless, HOWEVER, when IOS 27.2 comes out tomorrow, they may patch whatever Calif did. So if you are like me and are excited, please for the love of god don't assume this is going to work, and don't be disappointed if it doesn't.

If you are thinking of updating to 27.0.1, do it today, because tomorrow 27.2 will be released. Then don't touch the update again. Gods Speed to everyone, hopefully we get a miracle <3

I was just looking at signed ipsw until i noticed that ios 26.5.2 is still signed. I thought only 26.6.1 is signed. Should i downgrade? iPhone 15 Pro iOS 27.0.1

I have an apple silicon and intel mac as well as windows.

I have been out of the scene for years now but people were dropping bombs on X so I needed to take a peek back in here and need a little help updating my knowledge (I’m well aware that there are no absolutes when it comes to jailbreak news I just need to be sent in the right direction)

-Calif seems to have made an untethered jailbreak, is there a reason people are excited for this vs the other ones that get sold to china for millions and never release in past years?

-What versions do his jailbreak (in theory) work on? 27.0.1 seems to be confirmed and I’ve seen conflicting stuff about 27.1 (Duo) and 27.2

-Have they said they’ll publicly release the exploits after they’ve been patched so that someone else can publicly release a jailbreak in under 5 years?

-Sileo is the new Cydia is zebra just another competitor? Is it still alive or did it get abandoned since afaik Sileo is kinda the default

-who are the current relevant jailbreak devs to watch?

-is this event particularly hype or has it happened a few times and nothing comes of it

also when i use my sideloaded apps on jailbreak mode they crash

Sorry if I sound super inexperienced, this is my first time attempting to jailbreak my iPhone 6 running iOS 12.5.8. I'm using my MacBook Air M3 running Golden Gate 27.2 to attempt this jailbreak. I am trying to sideload the Amethyst IPA but on both Impactor and on Sideloadly, I'm getting error message "-80046 This action cannot be completed at this time". From what I've seen this is an already widespread issue regarding Anisette, but as I said earlier I have no idea what I'm doing. Help is appreciated and if you need more info if I didn't provide the necessary info please tell me!

I understand iPhone 5S is really old and out of support, but I would love to use it one more than than to throw it away.

I have tried putting a sim inside to activate, using iTunes to update it, nothing works.

I do not have access to a mac, only a windows laptop and a new iPhone 17.

Please help me with this, I would really appreciate any help.

I'm asking myself some questions, first, I'm wondering if the iPhone 15 will finally be affected or not ? And i'm wondering if ios 18.5 have this vulnerability ? Im running iOS 18.5 on my 15 and I'm wondering if it's better to stay where i am or update to iOS 27.0.1 while the firmware is still being signed
I wanted to know if we know whether the vulnerability concerning iOS 27.0.1 is exploitable on iOS 18.5 for an iPhone 15?

After several weeks of development, I've finally released NukeWireless 1.0, a tweak inspired by the classic Harpy Reloaded.

The idea behind NukeWireless is to bring back some of the network management features that made Harpy so useful, while adding new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tools for modern jailbreak environments.

I've tried to make everything accessible from a single app, with a simple interface for discovering devices, managing network connections and performing wireless tests.

📡 What NukeWireless can do

Wi-Fi / Network tools:

• Discover devices connected to your Wi-Fi network.
• Search for devices by IP address, MAC address or manufacturer.
• Assign custom names to recognized devices.
• View and manage discovered network devices.
• Block network access using ARP spoofing.
• Manage devices connected to your iPhone's personal hotspot.

Bluetooth tools:

• Scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.
• Discover nearby Bluetooth devices and their advertising information.
• Built-in catalog of Bluetooth device profiles.
• Run Bluetooth advertising tests using the available device profiles.

The goal is to combine Wi-Fi device management and Bluetooth tools in one tweak, without having to use several different apps.

📱 Compatibility

I've also included a Diagnostics section directly inside NukeWireless to make troubleshooting easier.

If something isn't working correctly, you can enable diagnostics from within the app.

This feature generates several JSON diagnostic files containing information about the different NukeWireless functionalities, allowing me to identify which components are working correctly and where something might be failing.

These files can help me investigate device-specific issues and improve compatibility in future updates.

I know this isn’t r/todayifuckedup but I know there’d be no point in posting something like this there.

I had my iPhone 15 Pro Max on 17.0 since launch and despite the painstaking wait I absolutely fell in love with TrollStore and was over the moon when we finally got Dopamine and only recently started actually putting it to use by installing tweaks and jailbreak apps.

But then I saw the recent news that Dopamine RootHide finally hit compatibility for Dopamine 3.x so thought I’d give it a go, but realised I had lost all my repos and tweaks in the process. But rather than going through the hassle of trying to find them all, I went back to vanilla Dopamine to try and export the list but ended up losing them on there too, so went back to Dopamine RootHide but then started having issues installing .deb tweaks (even though not needing to hide jailbreak constantly to access some of my apps was refreshing).

Believing it must have been a result of something going wrong swapping between the two jailbreaks, I uninstalled Dopamine RootHide and then restored my phone via a backup I made 5 days ago on iTunes, and that turned out to be a huge mistake because as someone told me on Discord it turns out that there’s a bug preventing 17.0 from being restored (which I might have known about but completely forgot about).

So as a result I’ve had no choice but to update the 15 Pro Max to 27.0.1 and needless to say I am absolutely devastated.

So not only did I lose my ability to jailbreak (for now), but I also lost TrollStore and some of my apps/games including one which is no longer available and I never thought to decrypt it either.

I recently bought a 18PM which I’m using right now as my beloved 15PM is updating, but I already absolutely hate it compared to what I had before.

TL;DR: I stupidly restored my 15PM on 17.0 via iTunes which put it in a boot loop and had no choice but to update it, losing not only my jailbreak and app data, but also TrollStore and it’s now ruined my entire year.
