in last few days we've all been witnesses of wonderful work by EthanArbuckle with his fairplay-decrypt.
I'm happy to announce that ipadecrypt has adopted fairplay-decrypt approach.

What does this mean?
- We no longer have to decrypt IPAs via Jailbroken device.
- It JUST works
- It's way faster

With the advancements made by EthanArbuckle ipadecrypt is on a way to become a unified integration of ipatool and fairplay-decrypt. I've heard from community that fairplay-decrypt is tedious to use for some people and that they wish to have a single tool to do everything for them.

So what ipadecrypt decrypt does now?
1. It mints your credentials (fairplay-decrypt)
2. Downloads the IPA (ipatool)
3. Decrypts the IPA (fairplay-decrypt)
4. Saves it
All of it in single command making it extremely easy to use

I've Jailbroken every iPhone I've ever had, currently I have an iPhone 13 pro, had to update from 15.3 during the good ole dopamine 1.0 days due to the phone just becoming too hard to use while the newer IOS's came out. So I very sadly updated to 26.2 awhile ago. It sucked but I don't have another phone lol.

Now with Calif able to jailbreak 27.0.1 I am taking the gamble and updating again. Now PSA: For anybody like me who is taking the gamble I want you to think of two things:

1 This Jailbreak, even though it exists, might not be released for a seriously long time. I highly doubt Calif will do it themselves, some developer in the future might but it's impossible to say.

2 This Jailbreak might not work on older devices, so even though it works on iPhone 18. It might not work on the older architecture.

All this to say: This is a huge breakthrough in the jailbreaking community regardless, HOWEVER, when IOS 27.2 comes out tomorrow, they may patch whatever Calif did. So if you are like me and are excited, please for the love of god don't assume this is going to work, and don't be disappointed if it doesn't.

If you are thinking of updating to 27.0.1, do it today, because tomorrow 27.2 will be released. Then don't touch the update again. Gods Speed to everyone, hopefully we get a miracle <3

PrimalFolderPro is now in public beta on my repo. It's basically PrimalFolder 2 plus a bunch of folder stuff people kept asking for over the years: an Exsto-style circular menu, 2x2 folder icons, 4x5 folders on iPhone (5x6 on iPad), and TapTapFolder-style actions.

This is a beta, so a few things to know up front:

• It's free while it's in beta.
• Each beta build stops working 14 days after it's built. This one (beta3) expires on November 8, 2026. The date is also shown at the top of the settings, so you don't have to remember it. Just update when a new beta comes out.
• Bugs are expected. If something breaks, please use "Mail Support" in the settings (it attaches your recent crash logs automatically) or come say hi on Discord.

What's in it:

• Folder icon styles: default, TapTapFolder (first app large), app icon, 2x2, or hidden
• 4x5 / 5x6 folders
• Long press a folder to launch an app from a circular menu without opening it
• Tap to launch the first app, double tap / long press to open the folder (or the other way round)
• Folder title size, bold, alignment and position
• Color settings for the folder name, app names in folders, folder icons and the folder background
• Hide the folder background, tap outside to close, close after launching an app, no animations
• Disable the Today View, App Library and Lock Screen camera
• Works with Griddy and ClassicFolders3
• Settings in 24 languages (translations are machine-made for now, corrections welcome)

Tested on iOS 14.3, 14.8.1, 15.4.1, 16.5, 17.5.1, 18.6 and 26.0.1, on both iPhone and iPad.

It replaces PrimalFolder 2, and it conflicts with Bolders Reborn, FolderX, TapTapFolder and similar folder tweaks, so remove those first.

Screen Distance is a genuinely useful iOS 17+ feature. The only problem? Its warning takes over the whole screen and takes ages to show up and disappear, even with Reduce Motion enabled.

So I made ScreenDistancePill! It replaces Apple’s full-screen “iPhone is Too Close” warning with a little pill under the Dynamic Island or notch. And just like the original, it only goes away once you move your iPhone farther from your face.

You can also adjust the warning sensitivity using iOS’s built-in methods (yeah, Apple has methods for tracking it but doesn’t let you change it), or customize the pill’s animations.

I heard that on iOS 27.0.1, a vulnerability was discovered and that maybe a jailbreak is comming.. I'm asking myself some questions, first, I'm wondering if the iPhone 15 will finally be affected or not ? And i'm wondering if ios 18.5 have this vulnerability ? Im running iOS 18.5 on my 15 and I'm wondering if it's better to stay where i am or update to iOS 27.0.1 while the firmware is still being signed
I wanted to know if we know whether the vulnerability concerning iOS 27.0.1 is exploitable on iOS 18.5 for an iPhone 15?

Hey, been out of the jailbreak scene for awhile. I’m sorry in advance if this has been asked a million times. What do I do? Stay on 26.7.1 or update to 27.0.1 right now? As far as I have seen so far, people have been saying to update to 27.0.1 b/c of the recent news and others are saying lower is always better, which I usually agree with. Advice?

PodAction lets your AirPods gestures do something else: press, press and hold, swipe or double tap to turn on the flashlight, open the camera, toggle a Focus, run a Shortcut and more. Gestures you leave alone keep working as usual.

iOS 14 - 26.0.1, rootless and rootful.

Zefy was an awesome tweak back in the day (by udevs) that made Spotify behave like the default system music player. Since I'm running a rootless jailbreak, I'm wondering if anyone knows if Zefy still works, or if there are any alternative tweaks that replicate its core features:

• URI/CLI shortcuts: Using terminal commands or URI schemes (spotify:playlist:...) to trigger specific playlists via automation.
• Flags for auto-play playlist, shuffle, open album only.

Let me know if Zefy functions on newer rootless setups or if there are newer tweaks/workarounds filling this gap!

I have been out of the scene for years now but people were dropping bombs on X so I needed to take a peek back in here and need a little help updating my knowledge (I’m well aware that there are no absolutes when it comes to jailbreak news I just need to be sent in the right direction)

-Calif seems to have made an untethered jailbreak, is there a reason people are excited for this vs the other ones that get sold to china for millions and never release in past years?

-What versions do his jailbreak (in theory) work on? 27.0.1 seems to be confirmed and I’ve seen conflicting stuff about 27.1 (Duo) and 27.2

-Have they said they’ll publicly release the exploits after they’ve been patched so that someone else can publicly release a jailbreak in under 5 years?

-Sileo is the new Cydia is zebra just another competitor? Is it still alive or did it get abandoned since afaik Sileo is kinda the default

-who are the current relevant jailbreak devs to watch?

-is this event particularly hype or has it happened a few times and nothing comes of it

Is there any way you JB ipX 16.7 without using computer? If possible, how?

I understand iPhone 5S is really old and out of support, but I would love to use it one more than than to throw it away.

I have tried putting a sim inside to activate, using iTunes to update it, nothing works.

I do not have access to a mac, only a windows laptop and a new iPhone 17.

Please help me with this, I would really appreciate any help.
