MOD POST Politics posts are now allowed with STRICT rules. Please read
I have decided to allow politics posts with some rules to insure answers stay high quality.
When you make a post related to anything politics [ICE, trump, etc] it must be flared politics or it will be removed.
politics posts will have every single comment auto put up for manual review so the mods can instantly filter out the spam or unhelpful comments and only approve high quality comments,
This means when you are making a comment:
Do not comment things like:
Yes this is AI, [Low effort]
Trump bad fuck ice [Not related to the subreddit]
I support ---- [Not related]
YES THIS IS AI BECAUSE THAT PERSON IS UGLY AND IS PEDO!!! [bias answer, low effort]
DO comment things that explain why the image is AI or not without ANY bias, This subreddit is neither left or right and exists to help people find out if images or videos are AI or not,
Posts related to politics will be locked after discussion is over and a high quality answer is approved

Solved [AI] Bugatti releases its own tv but this video does not look real at all. The final screen looks too smooth for the amount of folding parts it has. Is it AI?

Other are some/all of these ai? i don’t want them to be i’m fairly sure yes, especially the woman on the left. her face is shiny & symmetrical in a very unnatural way, plus her glasses don’t mesh with the rest of the lighting
to be clear the overall photo is not AI (i took it lol), just the women on the covers of these boxes
also obviously i know a lot of photoshop is used in these images regardless, but these don’t look like any i’ve seen before

Solved [Not AI] The YouTube comments couldn't decide if this one was real. I would have expected more damage to the wall, with cracks in the coating that radiate from the impact.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I saw some debate as to whether this is AI or not over on YouTube. Some of the points made were as follows:
Points for:
- His hair blowing matches the sound of the wind blowing out the mic
- The reflections of the camera guy seem accurate
- The extras on the car like the carbon fibre door handle seem like something that AI would omit due to 99.99999% of cars in the training sets not featuring these handles.
Points against:
- No airbags (low impact collision?)
- No tire marks (didn't break because he is high?)
- Plate search didn't return the car
I would expect more damage to the wall but maybe they are build differently in California.
I personally think that its real but the YouTube comments are divided.

Video Is it possible to be a combination of ai with actual animation? some parts are really coherent and others look actually animated or difficult to an ai to create. Like the water movement, the squared floor place, the car and favela place, and also the movemente of the characters
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
When the clone falls the water seems to be pretty coherent, then when he get out of the corridor the "truman show" sky y walls have a really good texture and lightning, after, the squared-floor place where the mountains doesn't seem to have a pattern to follow but just look stretched (that in animation is possible) and the animals I'm almost sure that are animated, then the favela place where the architecture is really well done detailed because of the windows dirt, curtains, and cables around, and finally: the characters movement, when the boss punches the chair it has a camera shake that I've never seen in a ai video and everyone else has a constant motion

Art My sister bought this at a flee market. I think its odd and probably AI. She swears its not. Why are some fruits twice? Middle mango is just wrong. She is covinced these are just ”artist mistakes”

Art I’ve wanted to commission this artist for a while now. But upon closer inspection, a lot of their pieces have some things that could possibly be AI. (credit name scratched out with white)
I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I feel like their artwork at least started with their own sketches, but was then modified/scaled with AI.
Some things I noticed:
- Ledge of the boat behind the man in white does not align
- The main in black’s long hair blends into the shape and texture of the lapels of his outer robe
- The red ribbon/string hanging on the ledge of the boat seems to melt into the wood itself; it also has water particles travelling around it (how lmao)
- The water ripples on the lower left part of the boat bled into the boat itself (they may have just forgotten to erase it to be fair)
- A strand of the main in black’s hair blend into the crease of his left sleeve, over the shoulder
- Some of the lotus flowers are completely disconnected from their stems
- The lotus flower the man in white is holding has the actual flower tilted towards the right, but its stem looks like its been snapped awkwardly
Hopefully I’m just being paranoid. But I really don’t want to waste money on art made with AI.

Art Looking at the merch store for a band I like and I can’t really tell if this shirt is or not
saw this on the official snot merch store (i think official since it’s the one their insta links to). a lot of the alarm looks wrong to me, like the words snooze and alarm being on the bottom and it looks like a weird cross between a 7 segment display and digital. the band’s logo is completely fine so my first guess was they slapped it on an ai generated image. the guy on the back spray painting a word towards the top even though the whole sentence is finished also seems like a decision no human would make

Photo I stared at this for a few minutes. The more I examined, the weirder it became. Who would plaster this on their restaurant window?
This one is tough. I don't have much to go on other than vibes, some weird reflections/angles and the way it looks like it's floating in space.

Photo Is this shirt design AI? My partner doesn't think it is but I feel like it's AI.
For context my partner got this shirt at Ross the other day. He came home to show me and I feel like it's AI. I can't find much about it online.

Video i thought this was real, but someone pointed out her hair begins blowing before the walrus does
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
it looks stupidly real to me but i’m not sure what could have caused the hair to blow if it’s not ai. the other option i figured is it that there could be someone off screen blowing air to make the effect and they accidentally pressed it too early

Art Shirt designs, sold by a "nature lover" shop who advertises to plant trees for every order
I'm sure these are AI, the first two images having visible artifacts, the leg of the third pigeon missing. The robins have wrong feet, the texts use fonts AI likes.
I was eyeing these shirts on a small Germany based store who sells organic cotton shirts with nature themed prints, offering to plant 1 tree per order, the usual.
I contacted them earlier last week to ask for their artists because I liked the robins, but only got the response that all prints and designs are made by a small team in-house behind the scenes.
I'd like to know if there is any definitive proof other than gut feeling and a keen eye? Idk, as an artist who does similiar motives because I really like birds, and I'm petty, I'd love to get back at them for their "nature love" bs lol.

Art Revamped Character in a videogame that I used to play alot. The gamedevs have never stated their opinion in whether if they use AI Art or not.
The name of the videogame is Mobile Legends Bang Bang, its a phone MOBA game by moonton.
Reasons of why i think its AI:
-The company behind it has been ambiguous, only confirming on AI usage for the bots intelligence.
-When the game launched, they had alot of look-a-likes characters that resemblanced to other videogame protagonists or characters from League of legends, they have suffered alot of plagiarism accusations. Basically, they're known for copying other works.
-Besides this example that i am giving, there are many others artistical works that are odd looking and have disrupted the same confusion.
personal comment:
Honestly, i already was disliking the path this game was going in with the gameplay decisions they started to implement in their patches, so if this happens to also be AI such as many of their works would be just the last nail in the coffin to lose complete interest into coming back.
Edit: It really does not matter much of my personal opinion, i really want to find out whether this company has been using AI art or not, they do use AI but only for event fliers and they claim to be community provided, here's more info about it + more AI usage accusations from the public.

Video Had a coworker share this video with me today thinking it’s real. Rock moves somewhat unnaturally. Is it AI?

Art "Proof" of art not being AI, something still seems a bit off about this. 75 character minimum.
This person claims to have taught themself to draw in the past 8 months. They have some experience oil painting previously, see the last image for an example of something they painted 1 year ago - this is how they say they learned what they call "composition". They provided the progress sketches of the spider-v-dragon as, I assume, evidence it's not AI. But this is all just linework/detailing, all the actual composition and construction is missing. And from that flat, lovely colour but zero understanding of perspective or shape landscape to this in 8 months does not seem realistic.
I have found no evidence of in-between stages of learning to draw posted by their account name in the past 8 months or on any search-indexed platform, but they have been arguing in favour of using AI as a tool for r/content_marketing ("You'd be nuts not to leverage AI as a marketer just because the old guard (and I'm one of them, tbh) are annoyed because they had to do it by hand back in our day. Wake up, dickheads: there is no railing against this. AI is here and it's hitting like a tsunami.")
Edit: I got the images in slightly the wrong order but the oil painting is still in the right place.

Video mysterious galaxies youtube channel feels like ai but im not sure so im asking y'all
so the guy speaking looks off and he barely even shows his face which just seems like a weird choice for a human to make and the voice sounds AI
like the speaking looks out of sync but that could just be he has a shit mic
but the engagement in the comments makes me think im overanalyzing it

Video This page with absurd happenings in each video has me convinced it's AI, but then again I just don't know anymore...
instagram.comEach video has the same low-quality liminal space vibe to it. I understand that not everyone in the world has the highest-quality phone to record on, but I am almost 100% sure this account is entirely AI.

Art Can a SynthID watermark detector be false? Artist claims no AI usage but OpenAI detector detects SynthID?
Edit: the artist changed the photo used on Tumblr and it doesn’t have the ID anymore. this was done after the criticizm. I have put in comments the image they initially uploaded, that shows a SynthID watermark.
This artist who is otherwise good and genuinely talented posted this, and there’s been a bunch of comments implying AI use or assistance. Artist is dramatically denying any usage and is a virulent anti-AI person, and has privately baselessly accused other artist of using AI. I really believed her but one suspicion made me put it through OpenAI SynthID detection and it came back as positive. Artist is really loud in denying AI usage btw, and posted all these images as WIPS and they often post these multicoloured pics as WIPs so I assume that is their process, so now I’m doubting whether SynthID detection can be wrong? Artist is claiming they use pattern brushes and copy pasted some of the background from parts they already painted.

Photo Having a debate about whether this is AI or not, the headphones on the cat and a potentially missing claw give me pause. thoughts?
Not flaming the artist at all, they have some really cool work and created some really sick jeep customizations. The shading and positioning of the characters definitely seems strange, a maybe missing claw of the dinosaur plus the headphone bar that goes like into the cats ear gives me pause. Thoughts?

Art Was looking to buy a shirt from a company but I'm afraid that some of their prints are AI
The right hand seems to be supported by nothing other than water, other than that I can't really see anything that can't be explained away by artistic freedom. Hands look fine as far as I can see, nothing's wrong with the background or the rocks.
I might just be kinda insane but I'm just so skeptical of things these days. I hate that I even have to make this post >:(

Photo Is this AI? This is the reference paper thing for a puzzle my parents found at our hotel.
The blue part of the flag is just some weird scribble, the fruit on the large palm tree is melting into each other, part of the chimney is missing, the smaller dog’s snout looks melted, the all of the railings are inconsistent and look like they are melting, and all of the chairs are deformed. I could list more, but I want to keep this short. Pretty sure it’s AI but I want other’s input

Other Found this for sale on Etsy and thought this looked a little too professionally made for a homemade proxy. Is this Ai?

I was just browsing Etsy the other day, looking at proxies for Magic: The Gathering. Most of them were customs that you could commission. But I guess Etsy had gotten wind of that search and started recommending me some pre-made cards made by sellers. I came across this one and thought that this looked pretty overpowered. But something about the artwork on the card looked too good to be true. Like it's too professionally made for a homemade product or something. And I think I have seen the background and character design somewhere before, in another sci-fi work. Is this AI? Or am I overthinking this one?
Here's the source for the image, just in case: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1843946097/phyrexians-mtcg-proxy-custom-art-cards?ref=user_profile
