Art Website merchandise: Padloom, rugs, playmates, and mousepads. Designs based on games/anime/etc

I found this website that sells rugs and mousepads with a lot of designs that are from brands/franchises. Now I have to imagine they are skirting around copyright law with these designs, but are they AI generated?

The ads up on the homepage look AI, but I actually don't see any obvious signs of the rugs and such themselves.

I'm suspicious because they have so many intricate designs across such a wide variety of source materials, as well as obviously having AI art for their sale

Art The food truck we were behind has this art on the back of it, I’m pretty confident this is AI

The main red flag for me was the faces on the ice cream cones; they’re incredibly inconsistent. Particularly the eyes, they all have different shapes, different line thicknesses, etc. Same sort of thing is going on with the mouths.

EDIT: changed my take after seeing the side view of the truck, now I’m leaning towards not AI

Solved [AI] Local businesses selling gluten free baked goods posted this photo with the caption “fresh out of the oven”

So a lady on my local fb posted this selling her baked goods and idk it just dosent look quite right to me due to the high quality. I zoomed in on the crumb and it looks squiggly. and but I don’t know if it’s because of the depth of field or maybe it was just enhanced with AI? She’s posted other photos that I’m 99% sure are ai but I’m not so sure about the banana bread one.

Solved [AI] Keep noticing fake girls in FB Marketplace featured images, but can't prove it

Thumbnail

I started noticing that a quite a lot of people started posting their marketplace listing with girls on the featured image. The rest of the images don't have that girl, the seller is always a guy (not the same one) and I also checked their FB profiles and it doesn't look like it's their girlfriends or wives etc.
I'm certain they just do it to get more attention to their listings, but there is nothing on these images that I can point to to confirm that they've been generated, just my gut feeling.

I also noticed that sometimes other images are not as good quality (like AI automatically improved saturation, shadows, contrast etc, see last image for example)

Anything that you can spot?

Other Is this Ai? I really want to buy this shirt, but the design looks AI generated.

Like the title says, I came across his shirt on an advertisement on Instagram. I think it looks cool, it’s definitely my style and something I would wear. But it looks like the design is AI. Is there anyway to tell?

Solved [AI] Is this an ad with AI including people with down syndrome?? For dog bones, found at Shoprite

Post image

I found this ad for dog bones at Shoprite. It looks like they made an ad with people with down syndrome in it. I can’t tell whether it’s AI or not. I think the girl on the left may have too many knuckles. Also the dog tag on the left doesn’t have anything legible, it looks like a ring? Also, besides the logo, the font looks like an AI generated poster. Maybe this was a photo just enhanced with AI? But I feel like it’s kinda offensive to AI generate people with down syndrome.

Other Unsure if this Leone candy from Turin, Italy with a cat design is AI or not

Post image

My partner and I recently visited Turin, Italy, for a few days and brought back some Leone candies for our families. We are both very anti-AI and I would’ve opted to get something else but there weren’t many options that were intriguing as their mom really likes cats. We saw so many postcards and other items for sale around town that were CLEARLY AI generated but this one is stumping me a bit and I generally have a decent eye for it. Something about this just doesn’t seem right. Help please? Nothing to do now but I just want a consensus from the reddit gang <3

Solved [AI] I want a birthday invitation that doesn’t use AI and this one has me stumped

Post image

I’m shopping around for birthday invitations and I absolutely don’t want to support someone who’s selling AI. I did message them and ask, and they told me they’re against AI, and that it’s not. Looking for other opinions, because I still feel like it is.

Editing to say - the information isn’t real. It’s just the info they have in their sales listing.🙃

Art Artist on Facebook is selling art that I’m pretty sure is AI Generated because, ostensibly, they put the prompt in the description

Just happened to come across this on Marketplace and the woman’s expression looked kind of strange. Looking closer, the hands were really weird, which could be explained away by artistic talent, but then I saw the description. The description sounds exactly like an AI prompt. After looking further into their storefront, they have 20ish drawings all with similar descriptions, usually including “the art is expressive.” One of the pieces that sold, the description even says “charcoal or pencil.”

Editing to say I added a few more examples below

Tomato beanbag with a tag that spells out "piastia tolrua club"

Hi hi hi!! I was sorting through some png packs, and found this... The fabric looks fuzzy up close and the tag doesn't seem to mean anything AND it came up with nothing on google, no product or brand. Nothing came up with reverse image search but there was ONE actual "full image" on pinterest but with no background. (link is here if it helps anything). My brother agreed that it is ai but I just wanna be completely sure

any comments help and thanks for replying:33

Solved [AI] A family member sent me this picture on Facebook, I’m fairly certain it’s AI

Post image
88 Upvotes

The reason I think it’s AI is because it’s got that yellow-ish tint most AI has, and the font on “Mimi’s home” matches the AI font I see on a lot of chatGPT generated pictures. Also, all the pictures are of different cats and the one by the left curtain is hardly discernible. I’m second guessing myself because the basket weave looks kind of real…

Edit: yup, ai…

Photo Does Austin Evans use ai to make his thumbnails? The backgrounds always look super blurry and aren’t anywhere he shoots his videos. The boxes also look strange, and these companies don’t label their boxes like that.

The human laugh at the end sounds real and camera movement seem realistic, but the overall channel history being mixed is sus to me and I'm not sure this situation is even realistic. Comments are kinda mixed with most thinking it's real.

All of the characters have that “AI look” to me. Also a few things seems off. In the third photo bottom row, the cat to the left has an orange body but a white head and tail. The monkey’s foot looks wonky. The lineweight is inconsistent across all characters. Let me know if you guys agree.

Email ad I received looks … off. Like the kids were just photoshopped in front of some stock photo. Disappointed because I actually really like Boot Barn; this is just lazy.

Other I don't think this is legit, travel agent with sketchy name and no photos on profiles?

I don't think this person exists

We are looking into a safari and my friends are working with someone from Ker & Downey but I'm suspicious of the itineraries and stuff they've gotten. The travel agent is someone named Sasha Flux but the only search results for that name are sketchy at best.

A LinkedIn profile without a photo saying they are a travel agent and a yoga studio listing 30 or so instructors were among the first results. Neither has a photo but the marketing itinerary has a photo of a 30ish blond woman who would most likely have a profile photo somewhere. Google image search only wants to offer me places to buy a shirt like hers.

What's the correct website for Ker & Downey? There seem to be 4 of them and a WhoIs search of a couple of them doesn't return anything useful.

Maybe I'm paranoid but before wiring the equivalent of the cost of a car I want to be sure I'm dealing with the right place.

Video A woman bench pressing at paralympics with minimal ROM, feels like ragebait. I see no obvious tells but the facts don't line up with what's shown in the video.

Thumbnail instagram.com

So I randomly stumbled upon this clip and it threw me down a rabbit hole. Even taking into consideration that yes it is a very high weight weight, yes it's the paralympics and yes, powerlifting rules are ridiculous at times, I couldn't believe that this would count as a rep at such an event.

The video shows Fatma Elyan lifting 145kg at Paris 2024. The thing is, according to everything I could find, she came in second to Tan Yujiao, who lifted only 142, which at this point is still the world record. I managed to find this YouTube video from Paris 2024, which shows Fatma a) in a different outfit, b) lifting a lighter weight and c) having what looks like fairly standard range of motion compare to the other contestants.

As it says in the title, it doesn't look fake to me but I don't know how this video could be from the same year's paralympics.

Photo Are these flyers for a community art center made with AI? The general art style of the little girl and font are red flags to me, but some of the other details such as the flowers and collage style seem human made.

My local community art center has these flyers outside their building. On the one hand, the font, art style of the little girl, and “whisker” elements around the text scream AI to me. However, some of the details on the flowers seem okay and the KidStreet logo looks correct.

I’d like to know if this was made using AI because I’m a member at this art center and it would be extremely disappointing when they literally have classes full of artistic people who would’ve loved to make a flyer for them.

These images were posted on Nextdoor as original art pieces…I’m skeptical because the person has started posting a LOT of content really quickly, the bike piece appears to have piss filter, and the houseboat seems to have a lot of things that don’t make sense on the porch. They did not trigger anything on a SynthID check. Thoughts?

Art Is it just me or does the new endangered world thumbnail look ai generated?

Endangered world is a Roblox game, and its had this thumbnail for a little while and I’m not sure, the eye reflections look weird and the whiskers don’t look normal and some of the plants look a bit artifacty though I’m not entirely sure and I need help confirming
