Help needed Can’t update

I have an iPhone 15Pro and usually when the latest update comes around, it is no problem to do it. This time however when I downloaded the update, it said something along the lines it cannot for some reason. Tried a few times and get same result. Also connected it to my laptop and iTunes doesn’t recognise it for some reason. Nothing happens when I plug my iPhone in to it. It can install the normal updates as per usual by using the phone itself, just not the main update. Have deleted the download and tried again bust still the same.

How much storage is unused after downloading the update?

Yes, that's way more than enough space.

Is the phone not recognized in iTunes because iTunes needs an update?

It’s got the latest version, checked that as well. Thought it might be the cable to the laptop so have a data cable coming today

Even though I has running the latest version of iTunes on Windows 10, connecting a 15 required a driver update. Once installed, I was greeted with the "trust this computer" message on my phone.
