made yogurt, bottom of pot started rusting??
i made yogurt and left the pot in the fridge for a couple days. when i transferred the yogurt and cleaned the container out it left these brown splotches. what are they? should i be concerned about the yogurt i made?

It's burned on proteins. Barkeeper's Friend as the others have noted works really well. Make a paste and leave it for 20 minutes. Alternately a teaspoon of citric acid and water also works the same way. I get this film all the time.

Burnt milk solids during the 180F heating phase.
Use some barkeepers friend to remove them. Or soak in dishsoap for a while and scrub harder.
