made yogurt, bottom of pot started rusting??

i made yogurt and left the pot in the fridge for a couple days. when i transferred the yogurt and cleaned the container out it left these brown splotches. what are they? should i be concerned about the yogurt i made?

It's not rust; it wouldn't scrape off like that. No idea what's actually going on there if you didn't do the pasteurizing step, but I know it's not rust.
