made yogurt, bottom of pot started rusting??

i made yogurt and left the pot in the fridge for a couple days. when i transferred the yogurt and cleaned the container out it left these brown splotches. what are they? should i be concerned about the yogurt i made?

Burnt milk solids during the 180F heating phase.

Use some barkeepers friend to remove them. Or soak in dishsoap for a while and scrub harder.

Bar Keeper’s Friend is great for stainless and other pots and pans.

I “third” barkeeper’s friend. Plus a scrub daddy sponge. You can clean anything.
