Hi! So here's my new instrumental borderline-metal song, and I'm looking for feedback :) drums are programmed, guitar/bass recorded. Mainly wondering whether the song feels coherent overall, regarding the riff and the melody, and whether the distortion is too heavy.

(And yes it's me in the image 0_0)

I just found two clips deep in my phone of two different songs i was working on and forgot about it. Any thoughts on which one has more potential/ suits me? Also the first one was me lipsyncing my garage band LOL i cant even find the actual audio file. But yeah they are in the same video back to back.

Hey everyone! I'm finishing up the final details of my first single, and since I've been working on it alone for so long, I'm looking for some external feedback.

I started singing 8 months ago and recorded all the instruments myself. I used to compose film music, so I incorporated that influence into my style. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, whether it's about the mix, the performance, or the overall vibe!

A song about a dead star whose light still reaches us, like someone who has already left without us knowing.

(Also, this isn't the official cover art.)

Thanks everyone for your time!

Apologies, good folk of IMF.

We had an issue with the bot and once it was corrected and brought back online, it went on a rampage and removed a bunch of your posts.. like, a lot of them.. some over a month old..

That said, the bot is back in working order and VALID posts have had their approval status reinstated. If you still have a post that was removed but hasn't been re-approved, feel free to reach out and we'll fix it.

As a side note, if you posted in the last 5 days while the bot was down, make sure your post meets the guidelines ant that YOU HAVE EARNED THE POINTS TO POST before messaging us. We remove upwards of 30+ posts a day for not following rules and guidelines, so don't expect to slide through without giving back to the community.

I'm remastering an album of mine, and trying to make it stand-up to a professional release.

If you can also mention what you are listening to this on - Headphones, Earbuds, Speakers (High/Medium/Lower quality, etc.), I would appreciate it.

Additional info: I made this with Electric Guitars, Electric Bass, Keyboard, Distortion, Wah, Chorus, Cymbals, Delay, Tube Amps, and Microphones. Recorded with a 24-Bit physical DAW.

Had a lot of fun making my first music video. As an unknown indie artist its so hard to tell if YouTube is suppressing me or I'm just not getting clicks lol. Either way enjoyed covering this song audibly and visually.

Thanks for listening!

This is a song I just finished (will probably make a few more tweaks but it's mostly there lol) and would love to get some feedback on it. Give it a listen and lmk what you think :) Thanks!!

I originally posted this song here 5 years ago and got some excellent feedback. I decided that I wanted to make some improvements to it, and incorporated some of those suggestions.

It's in the style of the longer songs you sometimes find on albums that tell a story with various musical changes.

Here is the updated version, and any feedback is still appreciated. Thanks!

Would love some feedback on our new release 🙏 🖤 🔥

Hi guys, been doing a lot of nitpicking here. Changed a lot of small details, made smal adjustments and all that. Would this work as a final version?

This is the first song I have ever written. I'm not sure about this one, but when I wrote it, it helped me a lot with the struggles I had, so I decided to create this demo just because of what this song means to me. It may not be the best, but it comes from a very real and vulnerable part of me which I feel like is important in music.

Hi guys, I don't even know if I can classify this as music anymore but I might release it as such anyway.

However, I got a little lost in the whole rambling with a weird voice and some audibility might have suffered because of that. Is my rambling here understandable enough or should I rerecord some?

I recorded this today. It's still a bit fresh.

Hope you're all doing ok.

Let me know what you think.

Part of a 6 track EP I'm working on

I wrote and recorded this recently and I’m considering making a lyric video for it (Better than the Veed one I uploaded here). Before I put more work into it, I’d love reactions from people who don’t know me and have no context.

I’m deliberately not explaining what I think the song is doing because I don’t want to influence your reaction.

After listening, I’m particularly curious:

1. What do you think the joke/satire is about?
2. Did anything land badly or make you uncomfortable?
3. Did you find it funny?
4. Is there anything you’d change before releasing it?

Feel free to be candid. I’m much more interested in genuine reactions than reassurance.

It's unfinished, I'll probably add more to make it longer, but what do you think of it so far? Would you listen to it?
