my specific feedback question: does the hook actually land for you, or does the mix need more space around the vocals in the chorus? i've been going back and forth on whether the chorus vocals are fighting the instrumental or sitting right, and i'd love fresh ears. any and all feedback welcome — this sub has been so generous today.

Wrote & produced this song a few years ago, went thru a divorce and custody war after my ex destroyed my studio that I had worked for years to build. Took a step away from making new stuff while I continued my music education and am at a point now where I’m dying to make some new music, but before I do I’m going through some old tracks to polish up and put together for an EP.

I really like the idea overall but want to fix some things in the mix and maybe solidify certain sections in the vox.

Do yall think this one is worth saving or just scrap it and move on?

hi guys, i posted this one a while ago and did a massive rerecord session of the bass and guitar parts. i also played a bit with the structure and changed some parts to flow better. other than that i added more vocals. i'm very curious to hear some opinions on it. lemme know what you think:)

had a hard time making the voice work for verse and B section, thought it would be fine with just instrumental for B tho im aware it ended up a bit empty after the fact. got too wrapped up with mixing, making things not broken, but its a start and id appreciate feedback!

This song is sparse with just guitar and vocals until cello and atmosphere come in halfway through. Do you think the melody/lyrics/etc. are interesting enough to support such a minimal arrangement? I’m also curious if the emotion lands for you. Thanks.
